“Thank you so much doctor.” I handed over the paper he gave me, as a result of my check-up, the doctor told me that part of my brain remembered something else, others did not, but do not worry because my recovery was quick. I left the hospital and went to the bakery to buy the bread that Heaven bought last time.
After that I went to the parking lot and got in my car to go back to school, I know because Heaven was upset with me because I did not bring her on lunch break, I want to get her back, I also went to McDonald's to take out of coffee, I do not know if she loves coffee but I know she will accept it.
I started my car and hurried to go to school, first time I will use my car to go to school, I just don't want Heaven to think of me as rich, because she might treat me differently. I know because she has no confidence in herself because she lives with an orphan, not rich, just a simple woman.
I don't know anything about it anymore; the important thing is that she has a friend like me. I got to school and parked the car in the parking lot, I was a little late for afternoon classes but it was okay. The security guard called me at the school and said that we had a meeting in the social hall. While I was carrying the bread and coffee, I immediately went to the social hall to see Heaven.
I sat at the far end because it was the only empty seat. I rolled my eyes all around to find Heaven, and I saw she was in the other row at the very end as well. I got up and walked over to her. Fortunately, she had no one next to her in the chair, so I sat down next to her.
“Heaven, sorry if we didn't have lunch together, this is my peace offering to you.” I smiled as I handed the food to Heaven, but she did not accept it, she bent down and was very quiet. “Are you okay Heaven?” I asked her. I held her hand and I felt it very hot.
She still ignores me until now. “You have a fever Heaven; I will take you to the clinic. Let's go.” She's still not talking. But she raised his head and she looked at me. I could see her whole face was red and her eyes were swollen with tears. “Hey, what happen?” There was still no word coming out of her lips. I can no longer understand her.
“Talk to me please.” She just cried in front of me, I hugged her tightly. “Please, tell me, what happened? What hurts you? ” I asked again and again. While the gaming dean of college was in the middle of speaking, something else suddenly appeared on the screen. A video clip and I can't believe Heaven's face was there.
A school official became angry over what had happened, until the video played. “I am Heaven White, a gold digger, a scammer, a user, and I will do everything to get rich, I live in an orphan, I am poor and I have no parents. I was the reason Sky ran over the car, I pushed him. All of this is true. I have nothing to blame for this. ”
Everyone was shocked by what Heaven said, they all shouted. Officials can no longer stop them from keeping quiet, many evil sayings to Heaven. In my rage I could not help but shout. “That's not true!” They all looked back; they saw me hugging Heaven as it cried. I saw Liza go up on stage and pick up the microphone.
“Don't cover up Heaven anymore, everything she said is true, she has already admitted.” All the students in the social hall threw trash at us with different things. I held Heaven’s hand and walked outside. She was still crying and had difficulty breathing. We hurried to the parking lot and got in my car. I stared at Heaven, but she still didn't say a word to me.
I held her hand to let her know that I was here, I would not leave her, and I did not believe what they were saying, even though all I can remember was that she was a good friend to me. “Let's get out of here.” I started the car to take her home. I still saw her not stopping crying and chasing her breathing.
When we got to their house she held my hand. “Don't take me home first, I don't want my mother to see me crying please.” I raised one hand to wipe her tears. “Tell me the truth, because I do not believe in them. Please.”
I changed the direction of our car and I took her to the hospital for a doctor's examination. “She's okay, it's just a fever, this is the prescription for the medicine you buy, eat first before taking the medicine.” The doctor told us. We got back in the car and Heaven told me that she had nothing to pay for seeing me at the hospital and buying medicine.
I told her it was okay because I was responsible for all our expenses. It was not dark yet so I sent her to the beach to have peace of mind. I helped her get out of the car. I grabbed the side of her arm and sat her down to remove her shoes and socks, as did mine.
I also helped her stand up and we walked along the beach together. “Talk to me Heaven.” I told her again, but no words came out of her lips. She just took a deep breath and looked away. I still accompanied her on her walk and did not ask again so that she would not be disturbed.
After that we went to the pharmacy to buy medicine, and I also took her home. Before she got out of the car she wiped her face and straightened her hair. “Thank you Sky.” She looked at me and I could still see her sad face. “Anything, for a friend.” I answered her.
I was worried for her; I could see in her eyes the anguish she was feeling. I left their house and went home. I got to my house and sat on the couch. I drank the coffee and just ate the bread I bought for Heaven. She did not eat or accept it.
There is a knock on my door and I am not expecting a guest right now. When I open it is John. “Hi Sky, I haven't been to your house for a long time, so I thought of going to you.” I let John in with a beer, “How is Heaven? I saw you both leave the social hall together.” I did not expect him to ask, does he like Heaven.
“She's okay, she has a fever and it looks like she won't be able to go to school tomorrow, I will visit her at their house.” I answered him. “Did she say anything else earlier?” John asked me a serious question. “Do I need to know anything?” I returned the question to him. Maybe Heaven is hiding something from me that I don't know and maybe John did something to Heaven that I should know.
“Nothing, I'm just asking, I'm concerned about her, and maybe you can take me to their house to visit to.” He told me. Maybe I'm just making a mistake, thinking badly of your neighbor. “All right, if that's what you want I will take you, but I will not stay there long.” “No problem, I just want to see her.” In the tone of John's speech he seemed to like Heaven.
I got two glasses for us to drink. I also want to drink because I am stressed at school, as well as Heaven I think, how is she doing now? What is she doing? John puts the glass of wine and gave it to me. We both drank and talked about what happened at school.
Until I remembered something Heaven had told me. “Her life is in danger.” Those words just came out in my mouth, but I did not know how I said it and how I remembered it. John was surprised by what I said and he let go of the glass. I saw him take a deep breath and stare at me. “What did you say?” He asked me again.
I had a headache so I couldn't answer John's question. “Maybe let stop to drink, go home first John and I'll rest.” I beg John. He went out and left me alone until I fell asleep on the couch.
