34 Expelling Demons From Three Years Ago Part II

1454 Words
Beth arrived at another rooftop of a neighboring town, seeing a guy standing by the edge of the rooftop.   She closed the portal and walked towards Bryan. “Just tell me if you’re planning to jump there, let me push you,” she sat on the edge of the building.   Bryan looked down to see Beth, blowing a cloud of smoke from his mouth. “I’ll tell you if I have plans,” he said with a grin before she dropped the butt of his cigarette on the edge he was standing at and jumped off beside Beth.   “Did you see the possessed kid we’re finding?” Beth asked.   Bryan nodded. “Yep. He’s living in a mansion,” he said.   “Oh? We’re going to expel a demon from a rich kid’s body?” Beth asked curiously. “Why would demon possess a kid, though?”   Bryan sighed and started to walk to the rooftop door. “Well, demons attach to innocent and weak people, like kids.”   Beth stood up and dusted her pants before she followed Bryan. “No, I mean, they’re innocent and probably easy to manipulate, but what life does that kid live to be possessed by a powerful demon?”   Bryan looked back at her with a small smile. “You’ll see,” he said, sounding like he knew all about the kid.   “Maybe it’s a good thing Roger sent you here,” Beth said, a little reassured that he won’t probably die in the hands of a kid.   Bryan chuckled as they walk down the stairs. “But it’s gonna be tough than the last one you just fought,” he said.   After a few minutes, they arrived across the street of a mansion, guarded by gigantic black gates. Two men were standing in front of the gates, looking at them while talking and holding on something connected to their ears. Some kind of comms.   “What did you say again?” Beth asked, looking at the two guards eyeing them. She turned to Bryan. “The kid is the son of a mafia leader?”   Bryan only nodded, smiling and waving at the guards to act friendly. “Yeah, so it’s gonna be tough. And a bit fun.”   Beth was speechless. She stammered, “You mean, we’ll handle the third party?” she asked. “Should we at least make a plan?”   Bryan had a grin. “We don’t need that. Do you have your demon gun or dagger?” he asked.   “Yes, of course,” Beth said.   “Did you ever try using it to a normal person?” Bryan looked at her.   Beth thought for a second and shook her head. “No, why would I use it to a normal person? It was supposed to be used to possessed people.”   Bryan chuckled. “Are you a newbie or what? You’re supposed to be a senior to me,” he said and shook his head. “Never mind. Just try shooting the gun at each of the guards,” he instructed.   Beth looked at him with confusion. “Why? I don’t wanna get suspended,” she said.   He sighed. “Just do it. Trust me and do it. You won’t be suspended. If you’ll be, tell me on Roger.”   She looked at him and bit his lip. “Okay, I’m gonna do it to both. If I run into trouble, I’ll make sure you are responsible.”   “Fine, fine,” he said.   Beth took the demon gun from her holster and aimed it at one of the guys. They were across the street, but the guards could see what they were doing. They looked flustered and confused because she looked like she was holding onto anything.   “If this put us to more trouble, I’m gonna aim this to your head,” she warned.   “Yeah, sure,” Bryan said and watched the guards to see what could happen to them. He knew what he was doing because he had tried that before. It didn’t make him into trouble, because no one knew what he did.   Beth fired the gun on one guy but it seemed like nothing happened except he just stood there not minding them. She was confused. “Nothing happened, though?”   “Did you hit the other guy, too?” Bryan asked.   Beth sighed and aimed for the other guy. “On it,”   She fired the demon gun again at the other guy and slipped the gun back to her holster. “What now?”   When she turned to look at Bryan, he splashed liquid on her face. She gasped and wiped her face with her hand. “What the heck was that?” She asked and tasted the liquid that trickled down her face. It just looked and felt like water. “What’s this?” she tasted it in her mouth.   “Fairy pee,” Bryan said and splashed the remaining liquid from his bottle and walked toward the gate.   “What?” Beth exclaimed and gagged a little. “Did I just tasted a fairy’s pee?”   “Be thankful it’s not elves’ pee. Fairy pee doesn’t even smell. They just taste sweet. Just don’t drink or taste it intently,” he said.   “Where are you going?” Beth said, licking the sleeve of his shirt to remove the taste on her tongue.   They stopped in front of the two guards, who stood idly there.   “Tell them to let us in, through your mind,” he whispered.   Beth did what Bryan told her, and the guards looked at her and opened the gates without saying anything.   They entered the gates of the mansion.   “Woah, what was that? Do I have psychic powers now?” she asked him.   “Nope, it’s because you shot them with the demon gun that you own,” Bryan said.   Beth nodded, taking notes when she understood what the demon gun could do to a normal person.   When they entered the mansion, the entrance was empty. What welcomed them were sinister laughter and whispering voices, like it was coming from the walls of the mansion.   “What was the fairy pee for?” Beth asked and wore knuckles over her fingers.   “It will help us appear distorted to anyone, even at CCTV cameras,” he said, waving at one CCTV camera somewhere on the staircase.   “Since you knew about the kid, did you check how many guys we have to fight?” Beth asked.   Bryan shook his head. “This is not their lair,” he said.   “Then will we fight some mafias here, too?” Beth asked.   “Yeah? Probably one small group only. But be careful, they have guns and all those stuff,” he said.   Beth shrugged. “Well, okay.”   They roamed the mansion, and they were brought to a big room at the back of the mansion, just by the garden.   Bryan walked to the door and pushed the door open, revealing about fifteen people cleaning their weapons and some, eating. The laughter in the room had stopped, and their eyes went to the two who burst open the door.   Beth looked at Bryan with a dismayed look on her face. “Does this look like a small group to you?”   Bryan grinned. “They were few when I remembered,” he said.   A man with an oily mustache and curly hair walked to them. “We don’t accept visitors.”   “We’re not visiting,” Bryan said with a grin. He took something behind him and gave it to Beth. “Take this, Beth,”   Suddenly, there was laughter inside the room.   “What? Are you gonna kill us with...a small water gun?” one of the mafias said from the back, which had everyone on a laughing fit.   Bryan laughed along as well, which made the mafias stop. “It’s not a water gun. It’s elves’ pee gun,” he said.   Everyone was confused, along them was Beth.   Bryan took another one from behind him as well and aimed it at the guy with oily hair. “Where’s Benedict?” he asked.   The man with the oily hair stopped laughing and looked at them seriously then looked back at the others, who were not bothered by the “elves’ pee”.   But the man with the oily hair just nodded and gasped. “Ah! Are you two perhaps, Benedict’s playmates?”   Bryan laughed a little and fired the water gun with elves’ pee.   The man with oily hair was surprised. He paused for a while and took the water gun from Beth, and sprayed it at the other mafias.   Beth was confused, but Bryan pulled her away to the door.   “What’s happening?” she asked.   “It’s gonna be rowdy here. Let’s find the kid,” he said.   Beth looked behind while she let Bryan drag her away from the garden.   Meanwhile, everyone in that room grabbed their guns and weapons and fought along with themselves.   There were continuous gunshots and all those, which surprised Beth. She gasped. “Does elves’ pee make people fight themselves?”   Bryan grinned and stopped by the lobby, where they saw a kid sitting on a chair, drinking wine.   “Welcome,” the kid said.   Beth looked at the wine glass he was holding. “You’re not allowed to drink.”   The kid, who was Benedict, laughed a little. “You mean the kid that owns this body? Yeah. But I am the current owner, I can drink whatever I want,” he said and sighed. “And you shouldn’t have messed with my men.”   “You mean those mafias? Yeah, they’re probably dead now,” Beth shrugged.   “So, tell me what your business with me?” the kid said with a possessed voice.   “We’re just here to kill the demon that is you,” Beth said.
