Tentative Thread Pt. 2

        Alpha Conners said, “Don’t tell me how to handle my mate. She’s the one who convinced me not to drop you as my f*****g ally. I don’t like people who go back on their promises Alpha Sophia. It makes me feel like I can’t trust them. You don’t have your mate yet, so you don’t know what you’re doing to Alpha Chase. I do. If someone kept me Haley, I’d kill them. Hell, I DID kill them. I slaughtered them in droves without blinking. Alpha Chase is a better man than I am because I’d have killed you and taken over your pack by now. Stop acting like a child. You wanted to play with the big boys. So play. You have it in you. I’ve seen it. It’s why after your father passed, I agreed to continue to be your ally. I didn’t do it for your father, or his legacy. I did it because I saw the leader you were meant to be. Be that leader Sophia, and do not ever disrespect my Angel again.” Sophia’s eyes filled with tears, “You continued our alliance because of me?” Alpha Conners snorted, “Did you think otherwise? I do not need you as an ally, Sophia. I do not align myself with the weak or timid; I don’t give a s**t who their dad is. I’m Alpha Eric Conners and being my ally means something.” Sophia nodded, “Thank you.” Alpha Conners said nothing. Haley said, “Alright taking Alpha Sophia and her new big girl panties back to her pack.” She kissed Eric on the cheek. “Be right back.” Alpha Conners laughed, “Yes, then we will talk about your evasive answer about your meeting.” Haley said, “It wasn’t evasive! I told you I had a meeting.” Alpha Conners smirked, “But not with whom the meeting with. I would’ve come with you.” Haley sighed, “Which is why I ASKED what you were doing first. You had an important meeting. You said the f*****g word important. AND I brought Blade with me.” Alpha Conners kissed her, “Pop them home and come back.” The Princess grumbled, “I swear that man is never happy with who I take where I go. There are so many marriage rules, you know, Alpha Sophia? I’ve started writing them down, but damn it if more don’t pop up every f*****g day.” 

         We all laughed as she popped away. Somehow it was only nine in the morning. “Derrick, please go teach Matt’s training class. I’m afraid I need him.” Derrick laughed, “If someone doesn’t take extensive notes on what happens when she gets back; I’ll never speak to you all again.” Derrick left with that. Princess Haley popped back in and started a chant. I said, “Am I going to grow a beard? What was that chant Princess?” Princess Haley smiled, “You may call me Haley.” I smiled broadly as Haley continued, “I made this space unable to be heard on the outside of this room because I just HAD to say something to Eric.” She turned to Alpha Conners who said, “Yes, Angel.” Haley pointed at Matt, “WHAT was with your lapse with Claudzilla? He’s cute and he seems perfectly normal! Why is your taste impeccable outside of her? Why did it HAVE to be her? Why couldn’t you have been close with someone like Beta Matt? NOOOOOO you had to date Claudzilla. THE WORST ex of your I’VE MET! Seriously, what’s wrong with you? Why couldn’t you date him? I like him.” Matt was redder than a tomato, but he was laughing. I bit both my lips. Alpha Conners said, “Uh... Matt sorry I didn’t get to warn you… My Angel knows we’ve been together.” Matt said, “It’s fine. I figured that our earlier.” 

            Haley said, “Eric… I’m waiting.” Matt laughed, “We didn’t want to date. We are both dominant males. Alpha Conners only dated females.” Haley sighed, “Fine. I’m just saying I would’ve preferred had it been someone like Matt or Matt himself. He doesn’t want to kill me. Or get you back. Nor would he send his siblings to shoot me up with iron and kidnap me or rape you. I’m just saying there were less psycho choices out there. Options you’ve even f****d. WHY DEAR GOD WHY was it her?” Matt laughed, “You aren’t mad about him and me?” Haley frowned, “What about you? Why would I be mad?” No one spoke so I said, “Because they fucked.” Haley shrugged, “Not since I’ve known him. Why should I care they f****d once upon a time?” Matt spit out his coffee. Alpha Conners said, “She doesn’t care about my past.” Haley popped into his arms, “I only care that it’s just you me now because you said so. No off periods, so you’re all mine.” Eric growled, “No one will have you but me.” Alpha Jackson sighed, “And now we are off for a mid-day fuckathon. Why do you do this to me sister-in-law?” Haley giggled, “Bye Alpha Chase and Beta Matt.” Mat said, “Next time if I could get a meeting on the books too…. It would be appreciated.” Haley turned red, “DAMN IT! I knew I forgot something.” Matt laughed, “I only need a heads up because I’d set up a camera and charge people for viewership.” Haley smiled, “Bye guys!” Alpha Conners smiled, “Bye Alpha Chase and Beta Matt.” He winked at Matt who blushed.

            When they left, I told Matt to go join his class.  I called Cameron as soon as I heard Matt close the front door. “Beta Rick speaking.” I said, “Beta Rick, I’d like to talk to my brother.” Beta Rick said, “He’s stalking Luna Reagan and her party planner. He’s got fifteen warriors on alert about this girl. Nothing can happen to her I guess.” I smiled Cameron was a good brother. “Chase. I’m surprised it took this long for you to call me. I was beginning to think you trusted me or something.” I laughed, “I do trust you brother implicitly. I had an interesting morning. Alpha Conners princess, whom he calls Angel, brought us all together to talk through our issues. She was being nice apparently. She threw Sophia and Alfred into the wall. Vines grew from my tree and held Sophia down. Then she made her grow a beard.” Cameron said, “That was her being nice?!” I said, “Evidentially. My mate is good friends with her, and she’s protective.” Cameron sighed, “That could be a problem. The Princess is why Lexi started her party planning business. She encouraged her to follow her dreams. Your mate considers the Princess to be her little sister.” I smiled, “Oh, I think that goes both ways. She considers Lexi to be a big sister, I think. She definitely sees her as family. Hence her version of nice being growing beards on women and throwing them into walls. She also no longer seems to hate me. She said I could call her Haley.” Cameron sighed in relief, “That’s good. I was worried that was going to be another layer of complexity to this problem.” I said, “Honestly, I did too.” Cameron said, “Lexi won’t tell me what supernatural group she’s from. The caterer wouldn’t tell Reagan either. She said that her what we’d call a mate broke Lexi’s heart when they were younger.” I growled, “I’ll kill him.” Cameron said, “I didn’t get the impression the caterer felt about him about we do about our mates. I’m hoping there’s not abuse going on there. Reagan likes her as does your mate.” I growled, “I’ll f*****g kill him. What’s his name?” Cameron said, “I don’t know. They didn’t say. Wait…. Reagan is coming.”

            Reagan came in the room, “I LOVE HER! Actually, I love BOTH of them. They aren’t even charging us an arm and a leg for this quick turnaround. They had to leave because Lexi is being popped to Disney world for girl time. I have GOT to become friends with the Princess.” I cringed. Then remembered Haley would bring Blade with her to Disney world. Bolt relaxed that Lexi would be taken care of. Reagan continued, “It’s too bad you’re married still Chase. I’d set you up with Lexi in a heartbeat. You guys would be a STUNNING couple.” Bolt purred. Reagan kept talking, “She went through the ringer with a breakup though. Seems he was cruel to her at the end. She said he humiliated her in front of all their friends. If we have a boy Cameron, his name can’t be Noah. It’s now out for all of eternity.” I growled. Reagan said, “Chase? Are you ok?” Bolt growled, “Noah…. We will kill this Noah.” I replied, “Yes, we will.” Out loud I said, “I’m fine Reagan. I’ll let you guys go.” Cameron said, “Chase…” I said, “I’m fine Cameron.” I hung up the phone and paced. I left my office and joined the trainers. Matt was startled, “Chase… oh boy.” He linked me, “What happened?” I growled, “Some FUCKER named Noah… it’s not important.” Matt said, “Some fucker named Noah, who is not important, has gotten you seeing red angry? This is what you’re’ going with?” I said, “Yes.” Matt said, “Derrick will be taking over the class.” He turned to me, “Get in the ring. You need a fight.” A voice said, “I’ll fight him.” We turned, “Who are you?” The man smiled and let his eyes blaze gold. Everyone shrank back except Derrick, Matt, and I, “I am a member of Princess Haley’s guard. She told me where her meeting was today, and her plan for this meeting. I coordinated with Blade, and we decided I’d be in the area. He forgot to text me when they popped out. The Princess never did her space heard chant in your office; so I couldn’t hear in there anymore. I have time to fight you and then head back to Alpha Conner’s territory. Might as well get a workout in.”

            Matt linked me, “Ummm if you don’t fight him, we can’t be friends anymore. No one gets an opportunity like this. I LOVE HALEY CONNERS!” I rolled my eyes, “You and Beta Dylan are her fan club.” Matt said, “I’m buying a t-shirt if he’s selling them.” I spoke, “Sure, we can fight. What’s your name?” The man smiled, “I am Javi. I’m the head of the Princesses guard.” Bolt said, “Good. Then he’s a good fighter.” I replied, “All of the Hackura are good fighters. Even the ones who don’t f*****g fight.” I stepped on the mat to fight him. Javi joined me in seconds. He was quick. I let my anger at Noah, the man who hurt my mate, back into me completely. I attacked. We fought for several hours. Javi didn’t hold back, and he was good. For the first time in a long time; I actually learned some moves in a fight. He beat me, but I’d held my own. I shook his hand when we were done. “Good Fight. You pack a mean punch.” Javi smiled, “You are a good fighter. I actually broke a sweat.” I laughed, “I’m drenched.” Javi said, “You do not work out with Hackura fighters. I fight Prince Bjourn and Marcus often. Good luck to you Alpha Chase. Treat her well. We all love her.” With that he left. He knew too. He knew Lexi was my mate. “This is good.” Bolt linked me. “The Hackura can help protect mate.” I nodded. Matt said, “You did good. I know you lost, but damn he’s a good fighter.” I laughed, “Yeah, he is good.” Matt said, “As if we couldn’t have guessed they love their princess.” I said, “I don’t think that’s who he was talking about.” Matt linked me, “Holy s**t! Your mate is in good with the Hackura… all of them? Not just the princess? Our Luna… is already amazing. I know Sophia’s Gamma betrayed her causing her all this self doubt, but can Haley like fairy magic her to sign the papers?” I laughed, “Hopefully our little meeting this morning lights a fire under Sophia’s ass.” 

            Matt stiffed, “Gotta go for a run.” he told me taking off before I could reply. I rolled my eyes. Bolt was yipping, “Mate is near again.” I tilted my head, “Does my mate know Matt’s?” Bolt grumbled, “If she does it better be a male. We DO NOT need another thing going against us with mate. PLEASE MOON GODDESS. Give Matt a male mate. We don’t need our beta rejecting her good female friend.” I replied, “I don’t think she would give him a female mate. It would be cruel to both him and his mate. He cannot accept her. The goddess would not do that to two of her children. She loves us.” Bolt yipped, “You’re right!” Kincade linked me, “We have a problem. The girl you have us guarding, the party planner, these guys are trying to take her. I’m sure they are probably planning to hurt her friend in the Disney character onesie.” I growled, “DO NOT LET THEM TOUCH YOUR FUTURE LUNA OR HER FRIEND!” Kincade linked back, “WHAT? FUTURE LUNA?! They won’t touch her Chase I swear. And uhhh Beta Matt is heading in our direction as if his life depends on it.….” I tore my clothes and I shifted and ran with everything in me. I linked Cameron; he was my brother. Our link should still work, “CAMERON!” Cameron’s startled reply, “Chase?” I linked, “I NEED YOU! Someone is trying to take Lexi. Get to the hotel!” They had to be near the hotel. Cameron replied, “I’m coming! Hang on!”  I heard my wolves howl in anger, and I saw the scene as I came over the hill. Holy f**k! My mate was dressed as Princess Jasmine. That costume needed to be on my floor as she moaned my name beneath me. f**k! Not the time. Her friend was in a stitch costume. They’d apparently had an interesting Disney World trip. I linked Matt, “Don’t let them touch her!” Matt’s ferocious angry growl surprised even me with its intensity. Right until he jumped on the bodyguard that had taken a step towards my mate’s friend. Turn around and be a guy… be a guy…. I chanted in my head. Stitch costume turned and to my relief it was a man. 

            The man said, “Apple pie… It’s you! I’ve been searching for damn apple pie and it’s a wolf that smells like apple pie. I’m an idiot.” Matt’s wolf smiled at the man. I linked him, “That’s your mate isn’t it?” Matt linked back, “Yes. Where the hell are you?” I said, “Coming up behind you.” Matt purred, “Isn’t he handsome. I want him.” I said, “Focus on protecting him and your future Luna.” Matt snapped his head, “MY FUTURE LUNA? THE f**k?! ARE YOU SERIOUS?” I said, “Yes.” Matt said, “You said you hadn’t met her!” I said, “I haven’t met her. I’ve been watching her making sure she’s f*****g safe.” Matt said, “And that’s why two of our warriors were about to intercede before I did.” I said, “Yes.” Lexi and her friend took off running for the hotel. Matt’s wolf whined as his mate retreated. The man turned around and Lexi dragged him inside.  It was written all over the guy’s face though; He wanted to run back to Matt. I linked him, “She’s getting him to safety. He may have gotten into a fighting stance, but he’s obviously not a fighter.” Matt growled, “WHY do you think I was so f*****g angry?! He’s clearly gotten basic self-defense training, maybe. The fucker I shredded to pieces has been around a fight or twenty-five. He would’ve hurt him, and I find that unacceptable. On SO MANY LEVELS.” By that time I’d arrived at the scene. Matt and I along with Kincade and Kevin ripped apart the group. Kevin linked me, “That’s the man who wanted to take the Luna. He called her Collete.” I said, “Shift back and get on the front of the hotel. Make sure she and her friend as safe. Not a word to anyone about who she is.” Kevin nodded and he and Kincade shifted back and grabbed shorts stashed behind a tree. I could feel Lexi’s eyes on me as I dragged the man that was going to take her from me away from her line of sight. 

            Matt hung back for several moment. I linked, “MATT! Get back here and help me get answers. THEN you can track the dude in a Stitch outfit down.” Matt sighed, “I’m coming. Isn’t he cute? He’s the cutest Stitch.” I shifted back and grabbed shorts. I punched the man in the face, “WHY were you trying to take her?” Matt shifted and grabbed some shorts as well. He said, “I mean if you were going to ask a good question… the f**k am I here for?” Cameron’s wolf bounded up to us. He shifted and grabbed some shorts. We were going to have to stock this area with clothes at this rate. Cameron was huffing and puffing.  He asked, “Is everything alright? Is she ok?” I said, “Yes, this piece of s**t was about to tell me what the f**k he was doing trying to take her.” Matt growled, “What were you going to do with her friend?” The man spat out blood, “Do you have any idea who I am?” I punched him again, “A dead mother fucker, if you don’t answer my questions, is who you will be.” Matt answered, “You should listen to him. Normally I’m his conscious, but I want to rip to you shreds right along with him this time. WHAT were you going to do with her friend?” The man said, “He was obviously going to get in the way. I’d have left him alone if he’d have just stepped away. I needed to talk to Collete.” Matt growled, “YOU WERE GOING TO KILL HIM?!” The man seemed to realize he’d messed up. He stammered, “You don’t even know him.” Matt growled, “HE’S f*****g MINE!” He looked at me, “CHASE!” Cameron linked me, “Uhhh say what now?” The man said, “The guy in the stitch outfit is yours? COME ON! I just need Collette to tell me if she breached our firewall and downloaded our information.” I growled. Matt yelled again, “CHASE!” I said, “We need answers.” Matt growled, “He was GOING TO KILL HIM!” Cameron said, “EVERYBODY JUSTHOLD ON! I would just like to say one thing…. I f*****g KNEW IT! I KNEW you were gay.” I said, “You did?” at the same time Matt said, “You did?” Cameron said, “Yes, I just knew it! You never wanted to even hold the one girlfriends’ hand that you had. You would always longingly stare at Victor Crumpet until he left to join his mates pack.”

            Matt smirked, “He was hot.” Cameron said, “Glad this is finally out there now. Congratulations on finding your mate man.” Matt smiled, “Thanks.” I said, “Your mate who has apparently been running around town trying to find apple pie.” Matt laughed, “I feel a little bad about that. I got hungry the other day when I was sitting at the border. I didn’t know he could smell me… or that he was a he.” We all heard a voice from behind us, “I am very much a he.” I handed the piece of s**t to Cameron who growled at the man to stay silent. I turned around to face Matt’s Mate. Who was still wearing a Stitch onesie. He said, “You’re going to have to kill him. He won’t stop. He’s a jilted ex who wanted Lex to be sad he ended their relationship. Jokes on you Henrick. You were just a mark to her. She thought you were attractive, but that’s it. You were a means to an end for her.” Cameron said, “Oh good.” I growled and punched Henrick in the face. Linked my Beta, “Matt.” I turned to see Matt holding on the man who was staring at Matt in wonder. A single tear slipped down the man’s face. Matt wiped it away and said, “I need a second. Ok babe?” The man smiled and nodded. Matt turned and ran back over to us. His gaze turned murderous as he looked at Henrick, “You were going to kill my mate. Right after I found him. If I hadn’t been close enough that stupid mother fucker was going to kill him. Wasn’t he?” The man laughed, “Yes.” I said, “You are an idiot.” Matt ripped his heart out of his chest. “HE’S f*****g MINE!” I said, “He’s dead Matt, and your mate is fine.” Matt dropped the heart and turned. The man’s mouth was gaping, “Wow…. you all are very cutthroat, aren’t you?” 

            Matt took several steps towards his mate who thankfully didn’t appear to be afraid, “We are possessive and protective, and you are mine.” He slammed his lips onto the man’s. Who responded by groping his butt. Cameron linked me, “Aww…. Never tell anyone I just say aww.” I linked, “If you don’t tell anyone I said they are adorable.” I cleared my throat. Matt broke their kiss with effort. He asked, “What’s your name?” The man smiled, “Ted. What’s yours? Or should I just call you my brown wolf.” Matt laughed, “I’m Matt.” Ted smiled, “I like it.” Matt said, “Good.” He kissed him again. Cameron said, “We are never leaving at this rate. One answer per kiss. Jesus.” I cleared my throat again. Then I linked Cameron, “You need to ask about Lexi. Ted knows you’ve met her.” I linked Matt, “Don’t tell him about Lexi and me.” Matt linked back, “You have to tell me about Lexi and you before I can tell Ted anything.” I nodded and answered him, “I was going to tell you.” Matt said, “This is why you’ve been so weird?” I nodded. Cameron spoke out loud, “Why did he call Lexi, Colette?” Ted said, “I can’t really tell you too much. She was undercover for us. She’s good. She’s the best we have. She doesn’t usually sleep with the marks, but she was Henricks type. The computer we needed access to required his keycard. She thought Henrick was cute, and it had been a minute for my girl.” I bit my growl back. Cameron linked me, “Your will power is off the charts. I have a new level of respect for you brother.” Matt linked me, “How you are managing all this… I do not know. Guess that’s why you’re the Alpha.” 

            I was shaking, but Ted didn’t notice. “Anyway he ended things and wanted Lexi to be upset. She’d actually met this Angel.” I said, “An Angel? An actual f*****g angel?” Ted nodded, “Raphael, he’s hot.” Matt growled. Ted immediately said, “Not you hot. Just overall. She took up with the Angel. Not seriously. They weren’t dating, just fucking.” I was vibrating. Cameron put a hand on my shoulder. “He went back to his realm though, so now they are done. Hey… you should date my girl. You appear to friend with my st... mate. You call them mates, right?” Matt nodded, “We do.” Ted smiled, “Right. So we could double. Plus Lex…. we are having some problems right now. There’s clearly a leak, and someone is out to get Lex.” We all stiffened. I linked Matt, “If I talk, I’m going to growl.” Matt said, “What do you mean, babe?” Ted said, “First, she was on a mission with a s**t alias, and it almost got her beat to hell.” I couldn’t stop my growl. Ted said, “Right on, Man. I was pissed too. Lex has never sent out her SOS we were all a mess. Even her piece of s**t ex. It was that bad. Her brother called in Haley.” Cameron linked, “Oh god.” Matt linked, “I so love her.” Ted continued, “Haley… got emotional over seeing Lex down. She panicked which her brothers did not appreciate. She shielded Lex and took the beating for her. The future king of the Hackura paid our leader a visit. He has a black eye now.” Matt linked me, “Well… at least you know those guys are dead. Alpha Conners would’ve killed them all for touching her.” Ted had more to say, “Once Haley was assured Lex was just drugged and not in need of immediately healing; she unleashed her holy terror on them. My girl said it was something. Haley can take people’s air and make them choke to death. Slowly suffocating them.” I linked Cameron, “She can what now?” Matt said, “Ok, I NEED the application to be her best friend. You guys can be co-best friends with me.”
