Some changes new beginnings

I didn’t leave my room for two weeks. Evelyn was sent to the ER and so was the guy I almost killed. Everything happened like a dream the police interrogated me but I can’t get a full sentence out of me. The police hold me in detention while they get a full report from Evelyn the only witness at that time. One guy was lying in a coma and the other two say they saw nothing because they were knocked out at that time. My mom was crying hysterically she called my dad who came from Packwood with a lawyer. I was freed on the next day my dad was waiting outside. I got in the car we drove to my mom without a word. I got into my room and locked myself in. My parents had a long conversation about my future which I didn’t attend.

“ Melanie, Maddy has to come with me to Packwood”

“No, you are going to take her from me”

“ you have to understand she will swift and with the situation now she can’t stay here anymore “

“ I will move with her”

“ Melanie it will be best if she gets to know her heritage, you can’t help her with her wolf, she can kill you. I am her father do you think I wouldn’t want the best for her?”

“And that’s your solution leaving with my daughter?!”

“ Packwood is just about two hours away I talked to the alpha you could visit her anytime you want”

Cal wrapped an arm around my mom and tried to comfort her. He knows about the packs because he is a accouter for them. He is one of the few humans which have contact with the Werewolf packs. Cal speaks to my mom in a comforting voice

“Alpha Samuel Black is a respectable leader he will take Maddy in his pack don’t worry, it’s time for her to learn what she is capable of”

“ Melanie please, she can’t be herself around humans she needs the freedom to be herself”

Mom was just shaking her head but she knows she lost this fight. She will let her go.

“Please give me two weeks I need to talk to her, she needs time to think”

My dad left with the promise that he would return in two weeks. My mom knocked on my door that night but I didn’t open she sat at my door and talked through it. Every word she said cut me like a knife. She was sending me away.

“ Maddy we talked with your dad and it would be best if you move to him for some time”

I could hear her sobbing.

“ Things are quite chaotic here, Packwood is not far away just a 2 hours drive mommy will come to visit often” she tries to keep her voice as calm as possible

“ There are things your dad can teach you that I can’t, Packwood will give you a more comfortable environment” still I didn’t answer.

She left after another 10 min when I was not answering. In these two weeks, Cal talked to me and Mr. and Mrs. Dawn visited also Evan came by but Evelyn didn’t show up. The event was too traumatizing for both of us. On Monday my dad came to pick me up Cal was loading up my stuff. I left my room with the last view inside.

When I got into the car I saw Evelyn standing on the porch looking at me with teary eyes. I gave her a last smile and she form the words thank you on her lips. I look back at my mom and Cal while we were driving away. She was lying in Cal's arms crying for her daughter. My dad looked at me with sad eyes but I didn’t want a conversation with him. So we drove in silence. After 2 hours we were almost in Packwood. The landscape changes from the cities to the woods. There were high mountains and deep woods. It was strange but I liked it although I grew up in the city. Then I saw some cliffs with beautiful waterfalls. Suddenly 2 guys appear near the vehicle.

“ ohhhh OMG why is he nude!!!”

I was covering my eyes when my dad got out of the car to talk to them. After I open my eyes again they disappeared. My dad returned and we drove further into the woods. After another 30min some houses appeared they look great. All have the same size and designs. They were about 60-70m2 big with red roofs and big windows. Some of them had two floors but most of them were bungalows.

“Maddy I think we have to talk, during these years I wasn’t able to be there for you but from now on I will always be there please come to me if you have anything in your heart” I looked into these ice blue eyes and found nothing but honesty.

“ Okey “ Was my only answer. I could tell that he was happy to hear something from me so he starts to talk.

“ so maddy we are in Packwood land our alpha Samuel Black is the leader with his wife Luna Melissa. We must pay our respect to them they have two children Mason the next alpha online and Sarah their daughter”

“ wait what do alpha and Luna mean? Like mayor or something?”

“ I know your mom hasn’t told you about your heritage because she was leaving me the honorable task to have this talk with you so the most direct way is hmm.. yeah ‘em”

“ Can you get to the point”

“Okey okey we are werewolves”

I just stare at my dad like he had two heads.

“ did you take something? Or what nonsense are you talking about”

“ Maddy I know this sounds crazy but it is the truth I am a werewolf the people here are werewolves and also you are a werewolf or maybe a half werewolf half human” we reached our destination. My dad parked his car in front of a big villa with 4 stories and a big backyard. I was thinking about the White House just being smaller. How can something like that be built in the deep forest?

“ we will talk later but first we must greet the alpha he already got the information that we arrived”

When I got out of the car I heard some stomping sounds from the woods. I turn to the sounds and saw two big Wolves running toward me one of them comes sliding in my direction the other one just jumped above me. The one which slid in my direction couldn’t stop so my instinct kicked in and I got in defense mode. My fist collided with his nose. He stopped instantly and was thrown some meters away. I got so starlet that I land on my butt from the impact. When I rises my head again to look for the wolf he disappeared now a n***d guy was lying there. I was so starlet from the view I didn’t realize my dad was next to me. He hands me his hand to pull me up. Then a man’s voice from behind me pulled my attention from the guy on the floor.

“ John, are you hurt? Sry we were in a rush “

Cole was already wearing a pair of shorts another one in his hand. He threw it at the guy on the floor who starts to stand up.” I turn around to give him the privacy to put on the shorts. After Ty was clothed he walked to them rubbing his red nose.

“ you have a hard punch missy”

I was so perplexed. I can’t get a word out of me.

“ sry guys may I introduce that’s my daughter Maddison she moved here from Seattle today”

“ Ohh your daughter she can throw some great punches”

“ yes I agree I think she broke my nose”

“ that’s your fault why didn’t you slow down beforehand “

I was just looking at these two great-looking guys both about 6 feet tall or maybe taller.

The guy named Cole with brown hair and emerald green eyes smiled at me. While the guy named Ty with black hair and brown eyes looked skeptical at my appearance.

“We will greet the alpha first later maybe you guys can show Maddison around”

Both guys bet their farewell and left. I was still in shock when my father moved me to the packhouse.
