Chapter fifty-seven THE TEXT MESSAGE Gabriella tossed and turned in bed and eventually fell asleep deeply. A young girl lifted up both palms out. “Help me. Please help me.” Gabriella ran towards her, hands sweaty and blood dripping from her cheeks; her stomach tightening as she reached the girl. Stretching out her arms, the girl vanished. “No, no. Wait.” Body turning in all directions, her nightgown dampened at the ends as she trudged in water. Splashes of water sprayed around. She walked towards a narrow corridor, eyes roaming as she pushed forward with her arms by her sides. Knocking into the walls, she flinched at the stickiness and pulled away, but the room was getting narrower with each step.
