ROSES ARE RED
He squinted through a set of binoculars, adjusting his focus to get a close-up view. She had just arrived home from work but moved straight to the kitchen. She was watering an indoor plant by the kitchen window with such grace that he wanted to take her now. But no, it was too soon. Plans couldn’t be rushed. She drew the curtains, and instantly, he smashed the binoculars on to the ground and waited. Why did she have to close those damn curtains? Now he would not see her reaction to his lovely surprise. But once she called the police, he could savour his work. All in good time and she would be his.
