Chapter twenty-three PROCESSING A SCENE Gabriella wandered back to her house from Marjorie’s place hugging her body tight as if she was cold. Answering the doorbell, she took a breath as Marco and Angelo greeted her, with a crime scene van and police officers approaching behind them. She led them to the living room and stood near the couch while forensics entered her house.
