Chapter 5

Betty Pov

It was the exhausting day but totally worthy for me, for so long time no one took care of me like this. Since my parents left us I grow up suddenly to take care of my siblings. When I open my door grace and Adam was watching TV when they realized I am back both run towards me and I grab both of them for a family hug.

“Where were you gone sis for a whole day? Do you know how much I missed you?” Adam said in a complaining tone

“Awww…. Did you miss me that much?” I said with a smiling face

“No I didn’t but grace is boring and didn’t let me play outside today.” He said annoyingly

“Hey don’t complaint about me your little kid and sis told me not to let you go out because you are a troublemaker,” Grace said with an angry voice

I smiled at them, they both look cute and I just love both of them. Grace is always a back for me whenever I need to go out to work or anything she always looks for Adam and never complained about anything. I never able to fulfill there all wishes but still my little sweet sister smile without complaint. She understands our family problem in such a small age that somehow I felt blessed that she is my sister. I went to the kitchen to prepare dinner for us.

All the time Carmen was in my mind and I could not stop thinking about her. She was so earnest and nice that anyone can fall in love with her. When I saw her in morning she looks absolutely goddess that I could not stop to hug her. I want to melt in her arms and never let her go but somehow she got shocked by the sudden reaction that I feel embarrassed about my action.

The whole day she was nice to me, she never let me feel awkward even if I was feeling like an outsider. She was perfection in everything her beautiful body, well-settled career and lots of money I don’t think I stand near her but still, she was so good to me. When I feel too guilty in a restaurant that I am not a perfect girl for her, she makes me comfortable and makes me happy. I really want to kiss her when she drops me at home but I couldn’t find so many guts but still, I manage to kiss her cheeks. I didn’t date for so long time that now I feel shy to do all this. I kissed her cheeks so that she can understand I want to kiss her so badly that I can’t control my urges now anymore.

Till the time I finished cooking, I got a message from Carmen that she reached home safely. I called Adam & Grace to come for dinner. I served bacon and chicken sauces to all of us and start eating. All the time I was checking my & Carmen photo which we take today and my smile spread on my face. We both looking good actually, I hope everything goes perfectly between both of us. I didn’t realize both my sister and brother looking at me curiously to know why I am smiling so brightly.

“So with whom you go on a date today?” grace said loudly

“Umm…. Wh….what I went to meet my friend only. Who told you I went on date?” I said shockingly

“Don’t lie to us I can see you are smiling blushing since you came back home and now you smiling while checking your phone so I know you went for a date, now tell us who was the person?” grace said sternly

“Yes, please tell us who is a person? Do we know them?” Adam said

“Oh ok, see soon maybe you will meet the person and yes I went to date but please I can’t tell you who is the person, now finish the food and go to bed it’s already too late,” I said to ignore any other comments

Well, I wasn’t expecting all this but its ok if I am going to date her in future they should know and I hope Carmen also love them because they are my only family. After finishing food both my sister and brother went back to the room to sleep. After cleaning dishes I go back to the room for sleep, it’s tiring day but I love every second with Carmen today. I thought to message her before going to sleep and pick my phone to send good night to her.

Me- Today I enjoy a lot. See you tomorrow. Good night

I put my phone aside without expecting any revert message so soon but suddenly my phone vibrate and it’s from Carmen

Carmen- well I am glad you enjoy today. I also enjoy a lot I hope we can go again soon.

Me- sure, sounds good to me. I love to go out with you again

Carmen- I am glad you want to come but this time maybe we can go on an actual date.

Me- sure, I want to go on date with you

Carmen- It late so sees you tomorrow now. Good night

Me- Goodnight

I put my phone aside and close my eyes with a bright smile while thinking about her.

Carmen Pov

Once I drop Betty to her house I start my car to go back to my place. I cheeks are still feeling her warm lips and my heart is pounding fast for her. I really want to turn my car and go to her house to kiss on her lips. Due to my busy schedule, I was so busy to date anyone in my previous city and now I want someone who can be with me and love me the same way I do. Once I reach my home I shoot a message to her to tell I already reach my home. I took shower and change into pajamas and loose top for night. I made a sandwich for me and grab my laptop for checking my emails and everything. Till late at night I keep doing my work and realize I was late so I close my laptop to go for sleep. When I was making my bed to sleep I got the message, it’s from Betty and suddenly my face light up with the brightest smile. We exchange a few messages till the time we say goodnight to each other. She sends me heart emoji along with good night and I suddenly start blushing. I put my phone aside and lay down to bed while thinking about her.
