Chapter 15

Damien pulled in to a drive way in front of a small cabin. It looked incredible. We both got out, I stood by the door just admiring the place, Damien started getting our bags out of the car and walked straight to the door. He pulled out a key and unlocked and opened the cabin door.

Walking in, I couldn’t help but admire the cute cabin. With my mouth gaping open I turn to admire my surroundings. Beautiful Brown leather furniture with colored pillows and throw blankets all over so comfy. The rugs are a shaggy and light colored to balance the darkness of the furniture in the room. Its beautiful, reminds me a little bit of our cottage.

I notice Damien staring at me, lust and love in his eyes. He smiles and walks towards me and wraps his arm around my waist. Pulling me closer to him, he gives me a sweet kiss on the lips then pulls away a bit and walks towards the back side of the cabin with our bags and walks into a room. I follow and once in room I freeze. My eyes and mouth wide open. I see beauty. Large windows wrap around 2 walls, view of the outside woods. on the other side are 2 doors. One I am guessing leads to a bathroom the other the closet. A king side four post bed in the middle of the window wall. Head board goes all the way up to the ceiling with sheer fabric wrapped around the sides. White and beige comforter sets with red and green throw pillows, a couch in the middle of the room with a TV hanging on the side where the 2 doors are. Shaggy carpets, throw blankets same color as what is in the living room area of the cabin. This place is amazingly beautiful.

Damien smirked, I face towards him a big smile on my face. I roll my eyes and I walk towards him and place my hands on his shoulders, step up on my tippy-toes and kiss his lips. Short and sweet, then walked away swaying my hips to the door we came in at. I turned smiled and walked away giggling, leaving Damien behind.

I sit on the sofa, and I start to think about my first shift. Hoping that it will happen and that I will get to see Nia in her true form.

'I can't wait for you to see me in my form as well Laney.'

'How did you.. Oh never mind.' I said with a smile in my head.

'We have a bit before the moon is out. just relax and enjoy your time with Mate.'

Nia is right, I need to relax, I have heard things about when you first shift, they say that you need to be relaxed and not tensed or panic otherwise it will take longer and it will hurt.

I get up from the sofa and head back to the bedroom and I hear the shower running. Damien must be taking a shower, I head to the bathroom and start taking my clothes off. Once completely naked I open the shower door and see Damien under the water facing the wall back towards me. I walk in and wrap my arms around his waist, his back towards me. I feel his hand on mine, he then turns around and lifts me up. We both start kissing each other. I can feel Nia wanting control. What is going on? Why is she all of a sudden trying to take control?

Damien

I can feel Nia fighting Laney for control. The full moon is here and it is almost time. Aiden is also fighting for control, he wants his mate now. I need to stop, before something happens that shouldn't.

I set Laney down and pull her back a bit. Looking at her swollen lips and seeing her body, Aiden getting turned on again.

"We need to cool off till after you shift," I said to her then kiss her forehead. I turn back and grab shampoo then turn us both to where we are both under the water.

I let Laney shower. It was starting to get steamy. I go out of the bathroom into the closet and pull out two towels. I dry off and wrap the towel around my waist. Real quickly, I headed down stairs to the back and set things up. I don't want her to be nervous, so I start a fire in the fire pit, and grab some blankets and pillows and lay them out around the fire.

I head back in to the bathroom when I hear the shower turn off with the second towel. Laney steps out and wow she looks incredible. Her body is magnificent, I hold up the towel and wrap her in it and pull her close for a kiss. She urges the kiss more, I pull back a bit and smile.

"Okay, it is time, we will stay in the towels. No point of putting on clothes, you will end up taking them off." I told her with a smile. I squeeze her shoulders and I take her hand and we both head out of the cabin thru the back.

Laney

I am nervous, as we start walking to the back I feel like gripping Damien's hand. We walk out the back door and I see a beautiful fire and pillows and blanket around it so cozy. My nerves fade a bit.

'It is nearly time, you will just need to relax.' said Nia.

'I will thank you.' I told Nia, I feel confident.

I sit down near the fire and I look up straight at the full moon. I am starting to feel strength. Something that I wish I felt the night of my 16th birthday.

'I am sorry that everything turned out the way it did. I just don't come out till we meet our mate. For protection.' Said Nia.

'I understand Nia, I am glad we have our protector.' I smiled and looked at Damien who was laying back on the pillows next to me looking at the moon.
