Chapter Twenty-TwoThe ground shakes and people scream as gunfire echoes. He stands in the midst, untouched, watching as swarms of blue uniforms sweep through town after town, and in their wake leave only the dead and dying. Down through California and Nevada, all the way to the Mexican border, until the blue covers the land, and the storm front turns east. Black smoke rises from funeral pyres and worse as the new borders are lined with a horrific display of death.
