As we run closer to the border I'm lost in thought, unconsciously killing attacker after attacker. Mate? Who was that wolf and why didn't he say anything to us? Had to have been the fact that we are in the middle of battle. Which goes to say my mate is the enemy.

"Oh stop whining. that wolf smelt amazing and you know it. he was absolutely beautiful too" Calypso bites at my mind. Yeah but the enemy Calypso. he could be the one that destroyed our forrest.

She rolls her eyes at me "Get over yourself." she growled, putting a block between us. I scoffed as I ran next to Kaden, coming to a stop by a rather large brown wolf whose lips are curled back, revealing his nasty yellow teeth.

Kaden looks over at me for a split second confused by my scoff, before we both rush to attack. You could fight off a single wolf, but if two attack at the same time you don't have a chance. And I could tell he reached the same conclusion because he didn't even try to fight back. Coward.

When we reach the border, there are Three wolves of varying shades of grey standing there, seemingly waiting. We skid to a stop, panting and waiting for another fight, but not getting one. I look around, confused.

"Kaden?" I look over at him for orders, or advice. I'm not sure which.

"I don't know May. keep you guard up. They're ranked. They've got their auras flowing carelessly." He states, utterly confused.

We are standing tail to tail panting and bracing ourselves for and attack when suddenly it feels as the the whole world stills, even the fire seems to quiet.

The ginormous black wolf from before padded out into the clearing and stops just to the left of the grey trio. His growls booms through the forrest, louder than the crackling of the furious fire.

He suddenly shifts, letting what seems like ever ounce of his aura out, letting it flood Kaden and I. Calypso brings down the block between us "Shift May." she whispered. WHAT! Are you out of your damn mind! I gawked back at her. She doesn't bother to respond.

"Hello Alpha." he glowers "It seems as though you are in possession of something that belongs to me. I will only ask once. Shift. " he commands and Kaden growls, but does as he says anyway.

"What do you think I have thats yours?" Kaden asks, positively curious.

The other man says nothing, but looks at me, raising one of his brows. The way he looks at me causing my stomach to do title waves.

Kaden also looks over at me, looking more and more confused. "What do you want with my sister?" His words sounded angry, but this was one of the few times he's ever called me that and I know he's feeling both possessive and protective.

The man chuckles " You mean my mate?"

I don't know if he meant to or not but Kaden jaw dropped, looking at me with pure confusion.

"Shift Mate" The man boomed with an alpha command. My body shook violently as I fought both the command and Calypso, who is currently screaming the word mate in my head so loud I can't think. My body betrayed me, shifting back to my small frame. I Sat there on my hands and knees utterly breathless as I force myself to keep my eyes on the pine needles between my hands, panting hard.

Kaden is furious " May! Why didn't you tell me!"

I look up at him with tears pouring down my face " I just found out. we are in the middle of protecting home and I'm still confused Kaden. what was I supposed to do?" I whimpered, dropping my head and hating how utterly weak I must sound and look.

before Kaden can say another word, the very naked man was standing above me, holding out a hand to help me me up.

Its very hard not to look at his member, just the thought makes me flush bright red.

Seeming to read my thoughts he grins widely "I'm Alpha Scott mate." I can feel kadens fury through the pack bond.

"Kade-" I tried, but he broke me off, violently snapping the line, causing me to shutter. My tears flow even more as Kaden walks into the forrest, shifting back and howling with absolute fury, I have to cover my ears wincing from the volume.

"Tell me your name. NOW" Scott commanded.

I scoff, glad his silly command doesn't work very well "I don't owe you anything. YOU set my home ablaze. YOU started this attack. YOUR pack made me an orphan. YOU made me weak. And it top it ALL off, YOU just caused me to loose the only family I've ever had." I don't realize I'm screaming at the top of my lungs until I feel anger radiating off this very large man.

"You listen here MATE. You can fight me, and I will take you with me forcefully, killing you're weak ass pack along the way. Or you tell me you name and come with us willingly. " he boomed, holding the air as if he was God.

"What will happen if I go with you? To my pack I mean." I ask, flustered. I can feel my heart thumping wildly against my chest as Scott let's a wicked grin spread across his surprisingly gorgeous face.
