After I see the fire I link the ranked members of my pack, while running as fast as I can to the treeline. Kaden, Charlie and Max(beta) are already there.

"Whats going on?" I can feel the adrenaline starting as I wait for a response.

"Theres only one pack that could be doing this. Firebird. After seven years they launch another attack. May," he turn to look me dead on, anger writen all over his face, "this is what you've been training for. this is why you've needed to be strong. Now is your time. For revenge." His eyes hold so much fury.

I'm staring at him for couple minutes too long when Charlie clamps a gigantic hand on my shoulder.

"Its time to kick ass" he said with such excitement, we don't go to war very often. We're a peaceful pack.

They were both right. my parents have yet to be avenged. and I have been dying inside knowing that fact.

"Calypso? I'm going to need everything you've got."

"Don't worry. I've got you're back" I can feel a fierce grin on her lips.

"Okay. Let's go" Max had already joined the warriors fighting. after a quick glance at Kaden I take off, running as fast as my feet will take me. All I can think about is my mother. I can hear her voice in my head, and her words fuel me.

We are getting close to the fight now as I can feel the fire and see people at each others throats. At this moment my body becomes filled with adrenaline. Its now or never.

A man came running at me and I snarled loudly, elongating my claws and slicing thick deep wounds on his chest and run deeper into the battle. The farther in you go the worse the fire was. nobody would be walking away from this unharmed.

The more people I fight, the more I feel my body being shifted into Calypso's control, until I let her shift my body to a wolf. although I'm a small chick, she is not. She makes head turn. I don't think I have ever offed anyone before this moment. There is so much blood and fire mixed in the air that I can't trace peoples scents. It's like going in blind.

Although I don't know for sure when they arrive, We fight man after man, woman after women. We are moving to get even further into the action when this big white wolf clamps down on my ankle. Yelping, I turn to Scratch him but he dodges my move. Hes circling me, I realized. Trying to find my weakest point. I growl ferociously, waiting for him to come back around to our face. I jolt quickly to the left, sinking my teeth into his shoulder and pull, ripping his entire left leg off. I know he will bleed out on his own, so I leave the blood covered wolf to die alone when I hear Kaden talking in the pack link, yelling that the Firebird pack's ranked members are staying in a group.

I was almost to where a difficult battle is taking place when I skid to a stop, looking around with confusion. A euphoric scent makes its way to me, eucalyptus and vanilla with sandlewood. A very large black wolf with a brown snout appears from behind some trees to my right. Tilting my head I take in the bloody beast before me while Calypso screams "Mate! "

She sounds out a light woof for this large wolf, shoving me to the back of my mind, taking full control over our wolf form.

"Calypso! There is a huge battle happening and we are needed!! We can take care of this later! " I'm screaming at her but she ignored me completely, taking light happy steps towards the wolf.

The black beast lifts his head to the moon, letting a very loud howl out signaling to the Goddess that I am his mate. I try to shift back but Calypso won't allow me to even blink an eye. Stubborn wolf. She moves closer, ducking her head to rub it on this wolf's front leg.

He bent down and nuzzled her soft fur quickly before huffing and bolting into the trees.

"Give me control Calypso." I state angrily. As shes sits happily in the back of my mind I return to my original path to the battle with my Alpha, running as fast as I can. Hopefully I make it in time to help.

When I arrive the spot in the forest that I once found beautiful is now burned black as the fire continues to consume trees, bushes and grass, leaving a heavy smoke behind as ash falls from the inferno. I see Kaden's fighting two large, ash blonde wolves at once and rush to help, sinking my teeth into the plump neck of one of them. I whip my head, throwing the wolf into a thick, fiery tree trunk.

"Kaden where are the others?"

"They're dividing and concurring" His wolf makes chuckling like sound

"Kaden!" I growl, pacing and smelling the ground; trying to find a scent other than fire and ash.

"Careful May." He let his aura flow out at me, making me stop in my tracks and revealing my neck for my Alpha "They're fighting the enemy. They split up after an earth shattering howl. Must've been orders. Let's go." he shrugged, reigning back his power before taking off closer to the pack border. I follow silently, completely lost to my thoughts about what just happened.
