After taking May to a separate room, despite Ben's begrudgement, I gather my ranked men in my office.
I'm pacing behind my chair when they come in. "Ah! Good! Men, its time for a trip. Come on." I march past them through the door, feeling them gawk at me.
As we drive through the woods on the small short ten mile road between our packs I quickly fill them in.
"So her family was killed? In the battle we lost 7 years ago! And she thought you killed them?" Dex asks "Why can't you just get her new sh.it from our pack?"
"Because Dex, that's rude. we have to make her feel comfortable. this is a strange new place." Joe (Gamma) smack the back of Dexter's head from the back seat, and I internally chuckle at them.
"That is right. If she's going to be my Luna we are all going to be welcoming. She already thinks we're barbarians." I state coolly.
We pull up to the Featherstone packs border gate and I can tell its not going to be a welcoming visit.
A guard walks over and tops on my window "Oy! What's your purpose for being here. You're not wanted here. None of ya." he glowers
"Yes I know. and I apologize for the poor timing and lack of notification, but my Luna, Maybelle? Yeah she asked me if I could be kind enough to come gather some of her things. do you think you could escort me to her home?" I say as calmly, and nice as I possibly can. Ben is trying to force my aura out of my body and onto this beefy guard.
"Hold on. I'll go and check with Alpha Kaden. Dont. Move. " he shakes a finger at me and I have to bite my tongue to keep from growling. Dex covers a laugh and I clock him in the chest, making his double over coughing.
The guard comes back and sighs "Yeah whatever. you have thirty minutes. Alpha Kaden will meet you there and oversee this matter."
"Okay. And where am I going?" I quirk my brow.
"The packhouse. In the middle of town? Surely you can't miss it." the guard seemed confused that I didn't know.
"Thanks." I bite out.
"I thought she was an orphan? Why did she live in the pack house?" dex asked, sounding as bewildered as I felt.
"I don't know"
As we pulled up, I could feel the Alpha radiating his power, and ben wanted to as well. Ben no, this isn't our pack. We have to be good in order to get May's stuff.
I pull the car to a stop in front of the packhouse stairs and cautiously get out, the others slowly following suit.
"Hello. I'm here for May's things? She said she wanted to feel comfortable and that the things she owns would help."
"yeah" the other Alpha simply turned and went into the building. I look at Dex and Joe then shrug, following the man up the stairs.
When we get to the door Alpha Kaden states that the door leads to her room then stalks away, leaving two big guards on either side of it.
" Okay men, let's move" I say, opening the door into a clean bright room with lilac blankets on the bed.
"Well she's a tidy one, aint she." Dex says,piling clothes into bags while Joe cleans out the bathroom stuff.
"She doesn't really have much."Joe says quietly in the bathroom.
I sit at her desk, picking up her pictures and putting them in small box.
Joe was right, it had taken all of ten minutes to pack up her stuff and we were headed off back home.

After Scott leaves I walk around the space given to me; a large bathroom, a king size bed(that's much more comfortable than my bed back home) and a full walk in closet. The floors were all oak hardwood and the rooms color scheme was light blue and smelled of cleaning supplies.
When I sat down on the plush bed I realized what he had meant, I was exhausted. I pulled back the covers and climbed up into the mountain of pillows waiting for me falling asleep quickly.
As I walk through the forest, something is off. There aren't any birds, other animals or sounds. It's too quiet.
As I turn around in confusion there's a sudden noise, so loud it's deafening, crackling
As if reading my thoughts, a fire starts. I watch it grow in utter horror. I can't move, like my feet are stuck to the forest floor. My heart starts racing as the fire moves closer and closer to me. I can smell the burning earth and feel the painful heat, terrified that it'll consume me whole. I watch it slowly begin to eat my feet and I scream as the flames meet my sk-
I sit up too fast with a scream, my breathing rapid. I place a hand on my chest and close my eyes trying to even out my breathing when I get the feeling I'm not alone.
Opening my eyes, I look up and see three sets of wide eyes frozen on me in shock. Suddenly embarrassed, I stare back, unsure of what to say or do.
Clearing my throat I manage to stutter "O-oh. H-hello. I-i'm sorry." As if me breaking the silence, they seem to break from a frozen spell. The two unfamiliar faces finish putting the boxes they held down oh the desk.
"Shh pet, its okay." Scott came to my side. "Leave us" he said to the two men. They looked at each other then left, shutting the door behind them.
"Sorry, I had a nightmare." I explained sheepishly, only to be shushed by Scott.
"Nightmares happen. You have no reason to explain yourself to me or apologize for it." he said softly.
"What happened at Featherstone?" I ask lightly, changing the subject.
"Awkwardly. I didn't really talk to the Alpha. It was like he couldn't be bothered. Speaking of which, how come you didn't tell me you lived in the packhouse?" he asked, sounding astounded.
"Well there was literally a huge battle, so it would be extremely awkward. And Kaden called me his sister, you don't feel any Alpha blood in me so why else would he call me sister? When my parents died my uncle was the beta. so I stayed with the ranked families and the Luna took me in under her wing and raised me alongside Kaden."
"Oh, I didn't think about it like that." Scott said as if he's lost in thought.
"Um, how about we plan something spectacular." I suggest softly
"Oh? and what would that be pet?"
