SCHOOL has been out for almost a month now, and Carmela and I are set to move to the city today. We found a two-bedroom apartment that is within our price range. We decided to make the move earlier so we could both find a job. Although I have a full scholarship to go to school, I still need money for living expenses.
I saved up more than enough to pay for my share in the apartment's advance deposit and pay for other expenses for a few months. Carmela also had some savings, so we have some leeway.
