She must have really been tired because she was snoring after a while. I sat there for a few more minutes and stood up eventually, I carried her to her bed and tucked her in. After double-checking the windows, I went back downstairs and sat on one of the chairs. I took a glass cup and poured some water to drink, I stared at the glass for a while then it occurred to me, I have to call my Mom! I ran back upstairs to pick up my phone and dialed her number. It was ringing, “Hello” Alright I think she is still at work. “Hey Mom, how is work going,” I asked first before going into details about what happened. “Work is going well, how are you guys?” I was about to tell her everything that happened when she cut me short. “Did you guys hear about what happened at the market today? The Police arrested a guy that was stalking and going after several people. I guess some people are just weirdos, can’t be helped.” I listened in shock, “That’s true. She was supposed to go to the market today.
Is she okay? Where is she? Hello?” I snapped back to reality “Err yeah she’s fine. She’s asleep right now, I’ll call you later Mom” She was still talking when I cut the call. I sunk in my chair, that means what happened was just a coincidence by some weirdo stalker. I smiled, then the smile erupted into a burst of laughter, I was so relieved. Different things were already going through my mind, now I can relax. All of a sudden, I was hungry. I took some cereal from the cupboard and scooped up a huge spoonful after pouring myself some milk. I went up to my room to watch tv and was halfway into the cereal when I remembered Jenny. “s**t, s**t, s**t” How could I forget about her. Well, I did just go through that, but I have to call her. I just hope it isn’t 6:00 PM yet. I looked at the time, 5:20 PM, I relaxed a bit then remembered I still had to check in with Carrie before I left so I jumped up and showered, then changed and sprayed some cologne. I looked at myself in the mirror, smiled, and picked up my phone to call her.
