CARRIE’S POV
I woke up to Barry tapping me and calling my name. Did something happen? My mind was thinking one thing but my body was too weak to respond how my mind wanted it to. I turned to him with sleep in my eyes and asked him what was wrong, He explained that he called Mom and what we thought was a serial killer was actually a weirdo stalker, thank God. I felt weak in my knees and I wasn’t even standing, it was as if a huge weight was lifted off me, I smiled and hugged him. “I’m on my way to see Jenny” Of course, you deserve to be with someone that makes you happy right now. I smiled and told him to go, I was originally planning on going back to bed later but after hearing the news he just told me, I can’t sleep back at all. After he left the room, I sat up and was thinking about what to do with my time when I heard my phone ring. I looked around for it and picked it up when I saw it, it was Leah. I smiled as I picked up the call “ Hey! Look who it is” I heard her shout from the phone and quickly moved it away from my ear before she made me deaf “WHERE THE f**k DID YOU PUT YOUR PHONE” I smiled. “I can literally hear you smiling right now, I called you a million times. I was worried. Are you okay?” She can be crazy, but she is very caring and protective of me. “I’m sorry, long story. I’ll tell you about it when you’re back. I’m okay, I just woke up” I explained calmly to her, “looks like you’ll do that very soon then, I’m coming home tomorrow” I let out a squeal and told her I would be expecting her. I got up from bed and went downstairs to get some water from the fridge because I was so thirsty. Barry came home late in the evening, I was already making dinner when I heard him come in. “I’m home” he called from the door, “ooh that smells delicious, I can’t wait to eat”. He sure was feeling very lively, understandably. “Well you will have to wait, how did your date go?” I asked while laughing at him. He walked into the kitchen to help with the cooking while telling me how the date went, but I stopped him and shook my head. “You know the rules of the house, wash your hands first good Sir” He smiled and washed his hands then continued telling me about his day, I listened attentively, cleaning the dishes in the process. “I’m happy you had a good date, she sounds like a really sweet person and I love that for you. Can’t wait to meet her too,” I said cheerfully and asked him to help set the plates.
