Chapter 19

Chapter 19~Green With Jealousy!

Selena and MJ were touring at full storm now. Selena was doing very well as she opened with Michael. He backed her up. Was always watching over her.

He was becoming her rock. Someone she counted on. And he counted on her. He let her dress up. Everyone was loving his new fashions she created for him.

She was all over the news. On magazines for her creations that Michael was wearing. She could not be any prouder.

Chris still grumbled about her outfits from time to time, but he wore them. Her father did not care to much for her fashion sense either. But he supported her dream. They all did.

Selena was still very conflicted about her deep feelings for Michael. And for Chris. Had she just fallen out of love with Chris?

When they had fought so hard to be together? They used to have to hide to be together. Now she had to hide with Michael. She did not like doing that to men she adored.

"How are things going with the king?" teases Suzette as they get ready back stage for a show in New Mexico.

Selena blushes. "I do not know what to do sissy. I am in deep. I care for Chris. But I am not sure if I truly love him deeply like I used to. And with Mike when he comes around, I can't explain the feeling. It is unlike I ever felt before. And when I see other women trying to hang all over them I want to rip them off" laughs Selena. "Ugh!"

"Talk to Chris. Maybe he has felt the same way. Maybe he met someone to! Maybe you are both afraid to let go" says Suzette.

"Is Chris with someone else?" Selena demands to know.

"No, no, I mean what if you both can't stand to hurt each other. And you can't go forward by hanging on to your past" she points out.

"Oh" sighs Selena.

"But how did you feel when I said that? What did you think?" asks Suzette.

She grabs Selena's lip gloss.

"I felt happy. That he might have moved on. And I had hope to be with Michael. Is that so dumb of me?" she moans. "What is wrong with me?" Selena mutters.

"Selena feelings change. At least your not married yet" points out Suzette.

"True" agrees Selena.

"So who is the better kisser? Mike or Chris?" Suzette begs to know.

Selena laughs as she bumps her sister with her hip.

"I do not kiss and tell" she warns her sister.

The phone in the hotel room rings. Chris was having lunch with her brother and father. Selena rushes to answer the phone there.

"Hello?" she answers.

"Hi" Mike says softly.

"Hi handsome" she tells him.

"I am guessing Chris is not in the room otherwise you would not be calling me that right now" chuckles MJ.

"Right" laughs Selena.

"I have someone I want you to meet Sel. She wants to interview us. And she is local here. Talk show. I said I would ask to meet up first. While we are here. She is an old friend of mine" he asks her. "are you in?"

"Sure what is her name?" asks Selena.

"Blanch Ramon. She is the Oprah around here of Mexico. I will tell her we will meet up" MJ says happily.

"Oh I think I met with her long ago when I first began to be on tv" Selena mutters.

"Can you meet in my room for a lunch in" he asks her.

"Right now? Sure" agrees Selena.

Michael tells her what time. And says she could bring Suzette along to.

"What is going on Sel?" questions Suzette.

Selena is jotting down a note for Chris as she gets ready to leave.

"Mike invited us for lunch in his room. And we are meeting with his old buddy. She wants us to do a tv interview this week while we are here. I said yes" says Selena in a winded explanation.

"Okay who is this person? Should you ask dad?" worries Suzette. "Or AB?"

"No it is a friend of MJ's. I think I met with her before. Blanch Ramon" says Selena.

Suzette gasps. "You have met with her. She was the first you dealt with during your Mexican songs coming out. She gave you a hard time about speaking English and Mexican. That awful woman"

"Oh!" Selena's face falls. She suddenly remembers the lady all to well. How nervous she had felt.

"Should I call MJ and cancel?" says Suzette.

Selena shakes her head. "No, I can handle her"

They head to Mike's room. Nervousness fills Selena's stomach. She felt she should tell her family and Chris before meeting with this woman again. But she was her own woman. She could handle her. No worries like she told her sister. Right? Nothing to it.

Selena gets past MJ's guard there at his door. Knocks on the door then MJ lets her inside.

"Selena you look wonderful" he praises as he looks her up and down causing her to blush.

"Thank you" she giggles.

She and Suzette come inside his room. He shuts the door behind him.

"Blanch will be here soon" he tells her.

"Oh about this MJ. I have met her before" says Selena.

"I know she told me. She wanted to catch up. See how you are doing after the shooting" he tells her.

"Oh sure" says Selena.

That would not be to bad.

Right?!

"One thing you need to know about Blanch and myself though" he begins to say as he touches her arm.

"What?" she asks.

"We dated when I was on vacay here. It was only a little fling for fun. We are only friends now. I am sure she moved on since then" he warns her.

He had dated Blanch??

"I see" Selena stammers.

"I wanted you to know. I am sure she would bring it up. And I did not want that to upset you. Or us" he softly adds.

"It is okay MJ. I know. I am not telling Chris" speaks up Suzette.

He blushes. "Okay" he laughs.

"She knows I am figuring things out" sighs Selena.

He nods. "I get you need to talk to your siblings. Does AB know to?" he wonders.

Her eyes grow wide. "No I could not tell AB. He would never understand this. He would tell Chris" laughs Selena.

"I see" sighs MJ.

There is a knock at the door. MJ answers. Blanch comes in. She looked beautiful as ever. Her hair done up and nails.

Make up. She smelled like Channel. She had a designer outfit on. The dress matched her blazer and she had on a hat that was jeweled all over it.

"Michael, gracias for having me" she coos. She rushes right to Mike and hugs him. Then plants a long kiss on his lips.

Suzette's eyes grow wide. Selena's to. She was not pleased.
