Once they’d freed their own people from their fiery cages Alex turned his gaze to the dome above them that still contained the Kastler estate. He grimaced and jerked his head up at it.
“Feel up to helping me deal with that? Otherwise none of us will be going anywhere.” Alex smiled despite himself as Kyle and Jess nodded.
Alex transported himself into the veiled world with Kyle and Jess appearing next to him. Not that any of them really needed to; they could have taken it down while still in the real world. Power flowed to him a lot easier from the veil, and he felt it was an advantage they could all use.
Kyle and Jess both grinned back at him and, opening themselves up further to the veil, they drew in more power.
