William appeared in the courtyard where Lord Kastler had been dragged along with the identified minor lords that had joined in his rebellion against the Crown. He thanked Ryan who’d transported him here once Alex had given the all clear. Rosalinda and the Dagger Wives that had defended him in the veil spread out in an arc behind him. Rosalinda had flatly refused to be left behind given the treachery of the King’s Guard. He looked around, his eyes settling on the lords who’d turned traitor, they were all bound awaiting his judgement. Lord Kastler’s mouth popped open and colour drained from his face. Then he started struggling, looking around trying to gain support from those watching.
