"Yeah....I did save you, but what exactly where you doing out there in
the rain yesterday, you could have almost died if I haven't been there"
He countered
Not figuring out why he was getting mad because he helped her out
"you should have asked well leave me out in the rain to die cause I went
out to get groceries with my last cash as someone got me fired from my
source of income" she sneered
Rex was dumbfounded, not knowing what to say.
"Well about that I'm sorry, but you did slap my girlfriend you know"
"Oh please don't give me that shit...she slapped me first and what was I
supposed to do...stare at her"
Now she was really pissed off at this human who had no conscience just
because of his rude girlfriend. Staring at him she couldn't help but curse
"Jerk".
Rex blinked twice and was going to say something when a knock came in
"Come in" he said
It was a maid holding several shopping bags in her hands
"Sir this is all we can get"
"Drop it over there" Rex said
She dropped it and went out. Turning to Alexis he said "change into something
comfortable and come downstairs" with that he walked out of the room.
Alexis stared at his back with her mouth wide opened"huh" she opened the bags
and was shocked, they were filled with clothes. Expensive clothes!!! Suddenly it
rang a bell in her head, the nightgown she was wearing! Wait this wasn't the clothes
she wore yesterday and this nightgown looks way to expensive. Suddenly it struck her
"Did someone change her clothes". Wait don't tell me that guy changed her clothes
for he........no!no!no! I can't be.
She immediately went into the bathroom to get showered and came downstairs.
looking at the width of the house it was really furnished and beautiful. A maid came
to meet her at the end of the stairs.
Leading her to the dining room where rex was.
Inside the dining room was decorated with gold and white, there was a wide glass table
at the center and on it there was so many dishes on it.
Alexis swallowed.
Just then rex came in, he had also showered and his hair was still wet. He was putting on
home clothes and he looked more handsome.
"You can have your sit" he said to her
Alexis shook the remaining thought away from her head and pulled a chair out sitting down.
"You can eat"
Looking around she asked "is it just the two of us"
"Yeah....is there a problem with that"
"No....I mean uhh I was wondering how both of us where gonna finish this food" she
explained.
He laughed "just eat what you can eat and leave the rest, but if you can finish everything
there's no problem"
Alexis frowned she could tell he was teasing her.
Well she would eat to her full here. Suddenly she remembered
"Uhhm about last night I can remember I was wearing my own clothes, but this morning
I was putting on a nightgown....perhaps did you
"Yes i did get you those clothes, your other clothes were messed up"
Alexis opened her eyes wide that means he has changed her clothes by himself, she was livid.
How dad him! What a p*****t!
Banging her spoons on the dining, Rex was startled. Alexis got up from the chair and
walked towards him, grabbing him by his collars, she said "how dare you, you damn
pervert, how could you do that"
Rex was flustered by now, he couldn't get what had happened. Stuttering he asked " did I do
something wrong" he stuttered.
Thinking he was putting on an act she said "don't pretend not to know what I'm talking
about" she shouted at him angrily.
Rex was embarrassed, the maids standing were all staring at them.
"I seriously don't know what you're talking about" he said
"Fine since you keep pretending I'll tell you, why in the world would you change my clothes
yesterday night!!!"
"Pardon"
"You heard me clear, you p*****t" she shouted
Understanding the situation rex gently pulled her hands off his clothes and said
"I didn't do that I picked the clothes but I didn't help you change, my maid did that"
"What"
The maid who had brought the clothes this morning came and stood in front and said
"Miss I'm so sorry if you're mad about that it was all my fault, I did help you change your
clothes but it was because you were soaking wet and you were going to catch a cold if I
didn't change it" she had her head down all this time while talking.
"Ohhh.......it's okay.....uhmm thank you for that" she apologized to the maid
"You can leave now" rex told the maid and she left.
Looking at alexis who had her eyes on the floor, he smirked and cleared his throat.
"I'm so sorry, I thought you were the one" she said quietly
"Why would I do that, it's not like there's anything to see" Rex said with a sly grin
Alexis kept her mouth shut and continued eating silently. She just made a fool of
herself in front of this silly guy.
After having breakfast, Bryan was about to leave the house when his grandfather
came to him.
"Where are you going I thought you don't have anything scheduled for work
today"
"Yeah....just going for a drive" he said and hugged his grandfather
He's been living with his grandfather since he was four years old after the death of
his parents who were killed by unknown people, his grandfather has taken him then
and trained him till now before handing over the company to him. Right now still
with all their wealth they still could not find the murderers buy Bryan knew that one
day he was going to find them and will torture them deeply in revenge for his beloved
parents.
Getting into the car he zoomed off, now wasn't the time for that anyway, he was going
to look for Alexis.
