A New Day

A New Day I woke up the next morning, and for some reason, I remember thinking this is the beginning of my new life. I missed Maine my mom and Dad but I went to Maine once a month to see my family and friends. But it was time for me to embrace being a Tracy or a Harper or whatever I was and I was going to do that; heaven help whoever got in my way. I went downstairs stairs, the house was quiet, and Hope was in the den working on a new marketing plan. Hope kept my father's business and made it quite successful. Hope’s money helped Morgan and Allan make their wrestling business bigger and more lucrative. My Mother was a very savvy and shrewd businesswoman. After my father died she took the first year off and after that she took Harper Mark to the 500 list. In the top 50 in New England, see my mother had more than Morgan and Allan. She was loyal to my grandfather and uncle; she bankrolled anything they wanted. All that information I found out on my own, The Tracy’s would never offer up that information. I kind of put all the information on the back burner for a little while, waiting for JR to do some damage when I planted the little seed in his head to take over the southern wrestling companies. My father had a will drawn up the day he found out when I was conceived. All of Harper Mark was mine 100%. It was put in trust to my mother until my 18th birthday when the profits would be all mine but the company would not be mine until my 25th birthday. I never knew my father but he was smarter than anyone thought. He had his lawyer draw up papers that if one penny of Harper Mark money went into the Tracy’s that could any way hurt my future then Harper Mark would revert to JR until my 18th birthday. Where I would have 100% control over his company, and his legacy. This is what I had to do to get Harper Mark from Hope. JR wouldn’t care about the profits. He would have someone run it for me so I had a future and he would not dissolve the company because it was his son’s legacy. I could put every cent from Harper Mark into the southern wrestling. Plus JR would look into all of the money Harper Mark put into the Tracy wrestling company make them pay it back and put the Tracy’s under. But it was time to make sure I made Morgan wish he left me in Maine. But when to break this news or do I extort my dear sweet grandfather with it? I had to make sure I play my cards right. I couldn’t play them too early it will blow up in my face; play it too late they’ll cover it up. I had to find the right time and right place. As I was standing there going through scenarios in my mind then I snapped back to reality when I heard Ding dong. I looked up and there was Jager. I could feel myself smile from ear to ear. I knew I could feel myself light up like a Christmas tree and everything else just escaped my mind. He looked at me with that half-smirk and these green eyes that lit up the room. “Mr. Bourque is here to see young Mr. Tracy,” William said. “I’ll take him into the study William, while you get Steve,” I told William. Jager and I went into the study, then I shut and locked the door. Jager didn’t realize I locked the door. I walked up to him put my arms around his neck looked into his eyes and said “hi.” “Steve can walk in here any second,” Jager said. “That’s half the fun,” I said in a soft whisper fun voice. “Plus, I locked the door. Old house doors stick.” “Did you.” He said as he put his arms around me with that big smile looked me in the eyes and kissed me. I could feel myself melt into his arms. His kiss would make a pot turn into clay; it was like fireworks were going off. Knock, knock, knock “That’s Steve,” I said “He can wait,” Jager said as he kissed me again. “I got to go let him in,” I said with a little laugh. I opened the door. “Stupid door lock,” Steve said. “Good thing you didn’t know Jess if you did you may have killed him.” “You never know.” I snickered back at Steve. “What are you guys up to today?” “Not much just hanging out around the house in the yard, just stuff Jess. Why do you want to hang out with us today?” Steve asked. “Why not I have nothing better to do,” I said sarcastically. “But yes, I will hang with the boys.” I would do anything to be with Jager, Even if I had to have Steve around to do it. We hung out and did guy stuff. Jager left at dinner. After dinner, I told them I was going for a walk so I could meet up with Jager. Jager told Steve he had a thing with his mom so we could meet up. We did and we met up every night till Christmas. The littlest patch of forest on the back of the Tracy grounds. “I don’t know what I’m going to do without you for the next few days.” Jager pouted as he put his arms around my waist. His eyes glowed looking into mine. My arms around his neck looked up into those perfect green eyes. “ I will only be for a few days and then we will have plenty of time for this.” I smiled and pulled him closer to kiss him. “See what I mean. See what you do to me.” Jager smirked. “I will call you when I get there tomorrow,” I spoke between kisses. Jager and I could have epic make-out sessions. But I have to get home now and pack.” Jager sighs. “Uggg. Okay.” He kisses me one more time and then lets me go. “Bye,” I smiled at him as our hands let go. “Bye baby” Jager walked away. As much as I hated to see him go those jeans made his butt look so good. I didn’t mind watching him leave. He noticed me looking. “Like what you see?” He laughed I turned a bright shade of red and walked away. Then I was off to Maine for Christmas. I went to the mansion and packed my bags; Morgan and Hope carried me to the airport in the morning next stop was Bangor Maine.
