“Lotte Park?” Hyerin looks at Kai weirdly and he just smiles cutely at her.
“Didn’t I say let’s play?” he raised a brow and she smiles.
“But, I thought you hated rides, you hate heights” she blinks at him confusedly, she had known him all her life and she is well informed that Kim Jongin hates places like this.
“I can learn to enjoy them for you, now come on” he slung an arm on her shoulder and drags her towards the main gates.
Hyerin looks at the long line of people who are buying tickets and her mind grew more questions as they near the entrance, not even going in line to get one for themselves.
“Wait, what about tickets?” she stops midway and Kai stops as well.
“What are these then?” Kai took out 2 tickets from his pockets and wave them in front of her face. She blinks at him confusedly and Kai laughs at her blurred cute face.
“When did you…?” she didn’t know whether she should be happy or surprised by the sudden appearances of the tickets.
“I have my ways” he smirks before he continues to drag her.
“You’re one weird boy” she chuckled at her remark and so did Kai.
“No matter how weird I am, you’d still love me the same,” Kai said and look at her face for any response and true enough, her expression changed a bit from happy to unsure.
He noticed that whenever he mentions about her loving him or vice versa, her expression would change and it frustrates him to the core for not knowing the meaning to it.
“Of course I would. You’re my best friend” she says as she ignores his gaze. Kai tore his gaze away when the guards scan their tickets.
Kai hates it whenever she says that. It was as if he was friend-zoned and he couldn’t have a chance with her.
“Right, friend” he whispers to himself as they enter the fun park.

"So are you two together?" the guy with long hair says as he traces his hand on her face and Hyerin moves away from his touch.
"Come on princess, leave that pretty boy and come with us, we can make you feel good" another one spoke, this one was bulky and tall, his breath reeks of beer as Hyerin tries hard not to gag.
“I bet he never touch you, let me do that” the third guy, a lanky looking guy wearing printed t-shirt says as his hands trace her bare thigh that they expose.
“Such soft skin” the first guy says while his fingers graze her bare arm and the other two lets out wolfish laughs like they got the biggest prey.
“Such waste to be left alone” he continues as the second guy pins her hands up her head.
Hyerin tried not to cry or scream as they did this to her, she was terrified but she didn’t trust her voice to ask them to stop.
"Leave her alone!" Kai shouts as the two guys that held him by his arms, push him back to the wall, he had retaliated against them and they are having a hard time putting him in place.
"Should've thought about that before you bought her to this party" all of the guys there laugh like hungry wolfs as they look satisfied by the sight of both Kai and Hyerin.
"Hyerin! Kai!"
Sehun and a few other guys show up, saving the pair just as the 1st guy rips her crop top off of her two-piece dress, revealing her in a black lace bra.
The situation died down as the host of the party had called the police to take those scumbags away, but Kai's attention was only on Hyerin, who was crying in fear while gripping on his denim jacket.

They played till night time came and ate dinner at the in-park cafe. They played all kinds of games and rides. Kai even won for her, her favorite plushy and she was too happy that she unconsciously pecks him on the cheeks, something she rarely does to him.
“Ah, mianhae, (sorry)” she said as that same tint of pink was visible on her cheeks. Kai smiles at her and just hums an ok before he pulls her towards the last ride.
