"So... what happened?" Kai asks his best friend who looked like she was caught doing a crime.

"What?" Hyerin asks back like she didn't understand.

"You know I don't like repeating myself"

"So it's nothing then," she shrugs as she walks ahead only to be pulled back and crashes into Kai's board chest.

"Choi Hyerin" he glares at her and she sighs in annoyance.

"Ugh! Fine!" she pushes him away and glares at him.

"Tell me what happened"

"It's… uh… really... nothing, just forget it" she turns her back to him, facing the wall.

"Hye, you know that if it means nothing to you, it means something to me"

"It is nothing, just something silly"

"Something silly is still something Rin, tell me," he says as he grips her shoulders, to make her look at him. That was when he realized that her face was beet-red.

"Are you okay Hyerin?"

"I'm fine" she huffs and he finds it hard to believe, her expression says a story, but her mouth was sprouting out lies.

"I'm giving you one last chance to explain Hyerin, who hurt you? Or did those girls bully you? If you don’t tell me I’ll go find em myself"

"What!? No... maybe... Wait... no, it.. it… it's nothing Kai!"

"Choi Hyerin!" he shakes her and she laughs at his attempt to make her talk. They both glare at each other, trying to win over one another.

"If I tell you, promise not to get angry and not to laugh at me?" she sighs, giving up as she felt her heartbeat speed up from the glaring contest. He nods and gives her his serious look.

"They said no guy wants me because I don't have what it takes... that I'm unattractive and I'm a loser"

"Why would they say that?"

"Because I still haven't had my 1st kiss and we're already 15" he stares at her for a long time, as if to see if she's telling the truth of what's bothering her. Then with a silly grin, he said.

"I can be your 1st kiss"

“We still have the haunted house and Ferris wheel,” he said and just drags her along and she obliges without much noise.

“Jongin-ah~~” she holds on to Kai’s arm as she feels scared and freaked out in the haunted house. Kai just lets her do as she wishes because he knows just how much she’s afraid of ghosts and dark creepy places.

“I’m here, don’t worry ok. Those ghosts won’t get you” he pats her on the head softly and she nods. Since she was so scared, Kai pulls her into his arms and she was wrapped neatly in his hold as they walk in the haunted house.

"What theme do you want?" he asks as he pushes the cart as they go through the supermarket to get snacks.

"What do you mean?" she asks as she puts in their favorite type of taco chips.

"You're bday Hye... it's around the corner, I told you I want to throw you a party"

"Don't you remember what happened the last time we were at a party?" she looks at him skeptically.

"That was a senior's party where all the seniors go to, but this party will only have the ones you know and care about you. Don't worry, I'll make sure of it" he says with promise as he squeezes her hands to assure her.

"That's sweet of you Kai, but I don't think a party is needed"

"Nonsense! We had a party for my 17th earlier this year. So it's only right that my best friend gets to have a party as well for her 17th" he glares at her and she laughs at his determined face.

"Sehun and your guy friends threw that for you, I told them I didn't mind as long as you like it"

"Yeah, and some of your female friends have been pestering me to throw one for you as well" They had one of their glaring stare down in the middle of the aisle of junk food, not caring that passerby's look at them weirdly.

"Fine, any type of theme except for scary ghosts" she gives up and sets her terms.

"Asa (Yes)!!! I'll tell Sehun, but I'm sure that's what he wanted tho since your bday is the day after Halloween"

"Hahaha, no" she laughs dryly at his sly smile.

"How about telling Sehun to make it into a Romeo and Juliet theme" she smirks as the sly look on his face disappear changing into a look of horror and she burst out laughing at him.
