Chapter 10 Nick rested his palms on either side of the map spread over the table and leaned heavily against the smooth wood. He drew in a few deep breaths and let them out again. When Jah’lar walked into the room, Nick pulled his hand to the base of his neck, massaged his throat a few times before dropping his hand back to the table when his ability to breathe properly didn’t change.
