The world was getting fuzzy and starting to gray around the edges when the bedroom door opened. A crack of light speared across the floor for a few seconds before Nick stepped into the room. Todd listened without paying much attention to Nick undressing. He felt the blankets and sheets lift up and the mattress dip when Nick lay down.
By the sound of Nick’s breathing and how the bed moved slightly with his motions, Todd knew Nick was lying on his back and just inches away.
Nick scooted closer until he was so close Todd felt the heat of his body, but he wasn’t quite touching Todd. A soft, shy kiss was pressed to his shoulder blade.
