CHAPTER 3

"Jennifer, " Theo said, walking towards me. "It's Jenna." I replied with a sigh that I didn't get to complete before he pecked me on the lips. Okay, rude. "So,wanna explain why you were late today?" He asked."Oh! it's just my parents.They were arguing again. " I lied. Well, I couldn't just tell him,'I woke up late and how do you even know I was late to school?' Although I said all that in my head. "How 'bout we ---" "Oops gotta get going, my Uber's here." I cut him off and quickly got in.

So, yes, Theo knows about my parents. He's the only one who knows except Thea.

Did I also forget to mention that my parents are rich well, just my dad, tho, but whatever, I was from a very rich family. It's not a healthy one but a wealthy one.

As days fled into weeks and weeks to months my parents' relationship grew worse and since Thea wasn't around as she spent extra hours on the tennis court trying to raise her GPA , I had no one to confide in except Theo . We spent extra hours together and I was always at his house. "Jenna, why haven't we had s*x yet?" He asked me one afternoon, and I literally choked on my orange juice. Oh! So now he gets my name correctly? "Um,I'm a Virgin, and I feel nervous at the thought,"I stuttered. "How about tonight?" He asked. "My parents won't be around, we'd have all the peace and quiet we need and I promise I'll be really ___"."It's okay. I completely trust you." I had to stop him from saying anything embarrassing. "I wouldn't advise you to trust people so easily." He replied. This time, I actually choked on my juice. "What?" "Imma go light up some scented candles. " He replied and went upstairs. Why candles, tho? Well, it was kinda romantic.

I waited for about 2 hours in Theo's living room for him, and I was kinda getting worried. So, I went upstairs and knocked on his bedroom door. No response; I opened the door and walked in. His bedroom was dimly lit, and I had to squint. "Theo," I whisper-called, "Theodore Maximus Baxton." I called out again. Suddenly, I felt a pair of muscular arms wrap around my torso. "I can't wait any longer." He whispered into my ear. Funny coming from a guy who just wasted 2 hours of my time. I then felt his breath on my nape before it was replaced by his lips.

A shiver went down my spine as he kissed the nape of my neck. He then turned me to face him and immediately captured my lips in his. I had to pull away after a minute to catch my breath but before I knew it, he pushed me to the bed and continued kissing me as he slowly unbuttoned my shirt and uncladed me when he was done , flinging my shirt across the room with his lips never leaving mine . I was underneath him in my black lacy bra and my jean shorts, which he was about to pull off when suddenly, we heard a car pull up in the driveway. "GODDAMMIT ". He seethed, "I'm so sorry, my mom wasn't supposed to be back by now. Just put your clothes back on and leave through the window while I go distract her. " He said and left. "What the eff? I was this close to losing my virginity. " I thought, buttoning my shirt.
