CHAPTER1-Claimed
I smiled as I admired my wedding gown. Our wedding is tomorrow, and I can’t wait to become Mrs. Delavega. While I was staring at the dress, the door suddenly opened. I smiled when Miguel walked in. “Love.” I rushed to him and quickly kissed his lips. “Why are you here?” I asked. He wrapped his arms around me. “I just wanted to see you.” I smiled sweetly at him. “Don’t you know we’re not supposed to see each other now? There’s a superstition that the bride and groom shouldn’t meet before the wedding, or the ceremony might not push through.” He gently pinched my cheek. “Since when did you believe in superstitions? We’re in a modern generation now.” “But it doesn’t hurt to follow them.” He quickly kissed my lips. “I miss you so much. I love you.” I looked at him. “You miss me already? We’ve only been apart for a few hours.” He smiled. “That’s how much I love you.” I smiled mischievously and slid my hand across his chest. “Do you want to advance our honeymoon?” He gently removed my hand. “It won’t be exciting if we do it now.” I laughed. “You don’t want to?” I took off the white robe wrapped around me and stood in front of him naked. “Oh, f**k, Alena…” I walked to the bed and lay down. “I’m ready,” I said in a seductive voice. Miguel picked up my robe and covered my body. “Get ready for tomorrow. That’s when we’ll make up for it.” Then he turned around and left the room. “You don’t want to advance it.” I shouted. “Pervert girl.” he shouted back. I just laughed. Miguel values and respects me so much. Even though he knew I wasn’t a virgin when we became a couple, he still never touched me. Not even once. Sometimes I’m the one who initiates, but he refuses. What he wants is for us to get married first before doing anything. I took a deep breath while looking at the gown again. Tomorrow, I won’t be just Alena anymore. Tomorrow, I’ll be Mrs. Delavega. THE NEXT DAY, our wedding day arrived. Because I was so excited, I barely slept well. Good thing my makeup artist is excellent, my eyebags will be covered with makeup later. After taking a bath, I went out to have breakfast. We were staying at a luxurious hotel together with our wedding sponsors and entourage. All the expenses here were paid for by Miguel. “Good morning, Alena.” Vanesa, my maid of honor, greeted me with a smile. I smiled back. “Good morning!” “It’s good that you woke up early today,” Vanessa said. “I couldn’t really sleep because I was too excited,” I replied, smiling. “If I were marrying a CEO, I wouldn’t be able to sleep from happiness either,” Vanessa replied. We looked for a table and sat down to eat. “Have you seen Miguel? He didn’t text or chat with me,” I asked. “His room is on the fifth floor, right? Do you want me to go check on him?” she offered. I shook my head. “No need. I’m just wondering because he hasn’t messaged me this morning.” “Maybe he’s still asleep or already busy,” she replied I nodded. “Maybe.” “Why? Are you afraid your spell on him might wear off and he’ll back out of your wedding?” Vanessa. joked. I laughed. “Crazy! With my beauty… I don’t need to use magic for someone to like me.” She laughed loudly. “I’m just kidding. Congrats and enjoy.” “Thank you.” “When are you getting married?” I asked. “Hmm… when I see that your marriage life is successful, maybe I’ll start dragging a man to marry too,” she replied. I laughed. “Of course my married life will be happy because Miguel is kind.” “I hope so…” Vanessa replied. “Don’t you believe me?” I answered. “You know, you only really get to know a person when you already live together in the same house.” “Fair point.” I continued eating. The time for my wedding preparations arrived. All my bridesmaids were ready. Even though I was ready. I couldn’t stop myself from crying as I walked toward the bridal car. This was really it. I was about to marry the man I love. It only took ten minutes for us to reach the church. When I stepped out of the bridal car, my mom immediately greeted me. “Sweetheart, Miguel isn’t here at the church yet.” I suddenly felt nervous. “Why isn’t he here yet?” I called Miguel to find out where he was, but he didn’t answer my call. “He’s not answering,” worry was written all over my face. “Alena, Miguel is already inside the church,” Mommy said after answering her phone. I breathed a sigh of relief. I thought Miguel had run away from me. The bridesmaids started marching. I smiled as I walked down the aisle while looking at Miguel. “Miguel,” I whispered when I finally stood in front of him. Miguel wiped his tears. “Alena, I’m sorry.” I smiled. “Why are you apologizing? It’s okay if I arrive at the church first.” He shook his head. “I’m not the man you’re going to marry.” “W-what! You’re just joking, right.” “I’m not Miguel De Vega.” “M-Miguel! D-don’t joke about this.” “He’s telling the truth.” Everyone inside the church turned to look at the man wearing a white suit—tall, handsome, and tan-skinned. He walked toward me and stared at me. “Finally, you’re mine,” he whispered. “W-who are you? Miguel, who is this man?” I asked in shock. The people inside the church were now confused by what was happening. Miguel bowed his head. “My name is Alvin Marguez. He is the real Miguel De Vega. I-I’m sorry, Alena.” “I-I will not marry someone I don’t know.” “Are you sure?” I froze when Mommy suddenly screamed. Three men were holding guns and aiming them at us. The church doors were already locked, and many armed men were inside. Instead of happiness, fear filled everyone inside the church. “Who are you?!” I shouted at the man. “I am Miguel De Vega. I am the one you will marry.” “I won’t marry you.” I turned to leave, but suddenly a gun went off and everyone screamed in fear. “There’s a bomb inside the church. If you don’t marry me, all our bodies will be turned into minced meat,” the man said coldly. Tears fell from my eyes. “I don’t even know you. Why should I marry you?” He stepped closer and tried to remove my veil, but I avoided him. “We’ve met before, and I will never forget that day, Alena.” Angrily, I slapped him. “Let us go. I haven’t done anything to you!” He rubbed his cheek, then pulled out a gun and pointed it at me. I heard Mommy and Daddy scream. “Don’t test my patience. Marry me right now if you don’t want everyone here to get involved!” My tears kept falling as I looked at the guests crying in fear. “I-I agree to marry you,” I said weakly. He smirked. “Good.” He signaled, and a man came out holding a gun and the priest. “You’re worse than a demon,” I said. He smiled mockingly. “I’ve known that for a long time.” While the priest was reading the homily for the wedding, two men had their guns aimed at him. Everyone inside the church was anxious for the ceremony to end so they could get out safely. “And now, I pronounce you husband and wife!” the priest said. The real Miguel stood up and forcefully removed my veil. Then he claimed my lips in a kiss. Not a single person applauded. I could hear my mom crying. “Now, you’re Alena Velasco Delavega.” He kissed me again. Tears fell from my eyes. I couldn’t do anything. This was not the wedding of my dreams. Suddenly, Miguel lifted me in his arms. “Where are you taking me!” I shouted. “To our honeymoon.” “Promise me first that my guests will get home safely.” He turned to my guests. “The wedding is over. You may all go home now. Just make sure your mouths stay shut if you don’t want me to bury you in the ground. The law is in my hands, so don’t even try to report anything. By the way, there is no bomb planted. I was just joking.” He turned his back while carrying me. “You bastard!” I shouted. *** “Where am I?” I whispered. I didn’t know what place they had taken me to, because when I got into the car, I was forbidden to look out the window. “This is where we’ll spend our honeymoon,” Miguel said as he walked closer to me. I stepped back as he approached, but when my back hit the wall, I could no longer move because he was already in front of me. “Whatever your plan is, can you please let me go?” I shouted. He smirked as he stared at me. “I have no other plan except to make the most of this night on our honeymoon.” I pushed him and ran to the door to escape. As soon as I got out, I hurried down the stairs. “Go ahead, leave! When you get back home, you won’t find your parents, your friend, and Alvin alive anymore!” he yelled. I stopped and glared at him. “You’re a demon. What did I ever do to you!” He looked at me as he walked closer. When our faces were only an inch apart, he caressed my cheek. “If I’m a demon, then you’re the angel who will complete my life.” I brushed his hand away. “I don’t love you, and I could never love someone like you!” “Well, that’s your job. You need to learn how to love me within thirty days. Because if not—” “If not what?! If I fail to love you, you’ll kill me?!” I shouted angrily. He smirked, bent down, and whispered, “I’ll kill you with pleasure.” His words sent chills through me, so I stepped back, forgetting that I was on the stairs. “Ah!” I screamed. “Careful, darling,” Miguel said. He grabbed my waist and pulled me close. I was trapped in his arms. “Let me go!” I cried. But he didn’t listen. Instead, he carried me back to the room and laid me on the bed. Then he opened the drawer and took something out. “I want you to wear this as the beginning of our honeymoon,” he said, handing it to me. It was a red two-piece bikini, like what dancers wear in clubs. He looked at me seriously. “Don’t test my patience, Alena.” “Just kill me.” “Not yet. Follow what I want before the people you love get involved.” Tears fell as I took it and put it on. Miguel’s eyes never left me. “Your body is irresistibly beautiful.” He walked closer, held my waist, and kissed my neck down to my shoulder. I shivered at what he was doing. “Come, I want to show you something,” he said. I had no choice when he grabbed my hand and led me through a door. Inside, I saw different b**m accessories and intimacy tools. I stepped back, but it was too late. He pulled my arm, pressed me against the wall, and cuffed my hands and feet. “You’re a demon!” I shouted in rage. He smirked. “Don’t worry, I’ll make sure you enjoy this.” He slowly undressed, revealing his well-built body. I didn’t feel disgusted, only fear of what he was about to do. “Are you ready, my wife?” “D-don’t come closer,” I said. But he didn’t listen. He kissed my lips. After a moment, he stopped, took a black feather, and gently traced it along my body. I swallowed several times. I didn’t know why something strange was stirring inside me. “You like it?” he asked. I met his gaze. “Let me go!” He just laughed. Then he made a call on his phone. A few moments later, a sexy woman came in. She walked up to Miguel while they were facing me. The woman kissed Miguel’s neck down to his chest, then knelt in front of him and began to touch him, sucked and licked his c**k. I swallowed. I didn’t know why I was feeling something strange and unfamiliar, as if I were being tortured while watching them. “s**t… what’s happening to me? Why do I feel like I’m full of regret,” I whispered.
