Assignment

I sat there in my economics class. I'm not saying it's boring but it's not something that's catching my attention as much. The professor was this guy who seemed to be in his late forties. He was pretty fit and good looking. Not that he's my type but still. I was surrounded by girls who were basically just drooling over him, there were a lot of people in this class and I see why. I took a few notes with the notepad I bought. I don't really see the need in bringing a backpack and a whole bunch of notebooks. I have a pretty good memory so I just need to write down the essentials. I felt a pair of eyes on me making me look around but mostly everyone was too focused on the professor. After about another five minutes the bell finally rang and everyone stood up. Prof. James yelled out that he wanted everyone to learn something new about our government. Which I'm not going to do. But I watched 'Death to 2020' last night so I'm all caught up. But if I had to actually look up stuff, I would most likely get so upset to the point I end up throwing something. I walked out of class and took out my phone to see my next class was Literature. My mood kind of lightened a bit as I tried to find the room number. A few people bumped into me but apologized after, and I just accepted it and moved on. I do have an anger issue but that's only when someone tries to act like they have power over me. I think it mainly started with my parents. They made sure I knew who the authority figure was and that they had control over me. As I got older I got tired of the bullshit and started talking back. That never ended well. I finally made it to the room and as I walked in I was a little happier to see there were less people. There were still a lot but less than my last class. I walked up the stairs to the third row and sat down. I watched as a few people continued to walk in and others sat down. "You mind if I sit there." I looked over to see a girl wearing a white dress with pink flowers on it. She's a virgin. I shook my head and her smile widened as she sat down. "I don't recognize you from anywhere. Are you new?" Yes. I came from Uranus. "Yes I am. I just moved here." She straightened out her dress and swung her red hair to the side. "Well it's nice to meet you. I'm Penelope. But everyone calls me Penny." She held out her hand and I shook it. "Vivian." Before she could say anything the door slammed causing me and everyone else to slightly jump. I looked towards the front of the class to see someone walking towards the podium. "Just to warn you. She's a little rude sometimes." Penelope whispered in my ear. I just smiled at her and looked back at the woman at the front. As my eyes started to actually take her in, I noticed it was the woman from this morning. She didn't have her sunglasses on so it took me a few seconds to notice. I looked around to see everyone looking at her but bowing their heads a little. Please don't tell me I joined a f*****g cult. "Take out a notebook and pencil." She said with a cold voice. I didn't understand why but it's early and I'm assuming she's just tired. I didn't pull anything out because I already had my small notepad in my hand. So instead I watched as the woman moved around to her desk and started grabbing some things. I looked a little closer to see her nails were long and painted red. Her black hair flowed past her shoulders and onto her blazer. She looked very professional which was understandable seeing as she was at work. Her muscles were clearly defined through her blazer and not going to lie, she looked kind of hot. She looked at her phone and turned it off then put it in her drawer. I looked around to see everyone was ready. "Some of you may know me and my rules. Others will learn very quickly. If you don't like how I teach then please don't waste my time and just leave. There is no eating, drinking, phones, nor talking unless I say so. Am I clear?" Everyone nodded their heads. "I am Prof. Rose. And I will be your Literature teacher until you drop out. Which will most likely happen within a month." I mentally scoffed and crossed my arms. After a few seconds of no one saying anything she turned on the smart board. I watched as Penelope opened up her notebook. "Tomorrow I want you all to turn in a three page paper about something your little heart's desire." Uhh. "I want it punctuated, re-read, correct spelling, and please don't write about your 'dream car'. I have read enough of those and I hate to break it to you, no one cares." I chuckled to myself but it ended up coming out a little too loud. "Is there a problem?" She asked as she looked directly at me. I noticed that she had grey eyes making me smile because I love grey. Especially that grey. "You think this is a game?" She asked as she crossed her arms and glared at me. I didn't know that to say so I ended up stumbling on my words. "Stay after class." Was all she said and I didn't argue. If there wasn't a valid reason for me to stay after class then we would have had a problem. But I get her frustration. Kind of. She went back to teaching and Penelope tapped me on my shoulder. I looked over at her. "Either she likes you or she's planning on killing you. And considering the fact she doesn't like anyone, it was nice knowing you." I smiled and quietly chuckled. The rest of the class went by smoothly. And by smoothly I mean Ms. Rose glaring at me the entire time and shouting every time someone got the answer wrong. Honestly I was starting to think about dropping out but I didn't want to be one of her victims that she scared to death. At some point she told us to work on our assignment and the room filled with quiet small talk. I have never heard a group of people talk this silently. "So what are you planning on writing about?" Penny asked me. I sighed while shrugging my shoulders. "I don't know yet, what about you?" She smiled very happily making me smile. I could tell that Penny was one of the shy girls who were very peppy at the same time. I've never actually had a friend like that so it would be nice for a change. "I want to be a photographer so I'm going to write about that." I nodded my head letting her know I was paying attention. "Sounds fun, I have no idea what I want to do. But I have a strange feeling this class will help me figure that out." She looked over towards Ms. Rose and hummed in response. "Maybe, Ms. Rose may be mean and scary as hell but she is a good teacher. My sister had her about a few years ago and now she's a journalist." I smiled at her and she smiled back. I looked down at my hands for the rest of the class wondering what I should write about. I don't know what I want to be or what I want in life so this assignment may be a little difficult. I could ask her if I could get a different topic but I know damn well that wouldn't happen. The bell finally rang and I stood up getting ready to head out but I remembered that I had to stay. "Um, if you want, I can take you out for lunch and show you are around." Penny said. "That sounds great but I already have plans. Tomorrow maybe?" She nodded and leaned in and kissed me on the cheek. I watched as the peppy red head skipped all the way to the door making me smile to myself. I shook my head and noticed how empty the room was. I looked to the front of the class to see Ms. Rose staring at me. I cleared my throat and walked up to her. "I would like to apologize for earlier. I just thought it was a little funny that you said we will drop out. I didn't intend to disrespect you in any way." I started. She leaned back in her chair while crossing her arms and staring straight at me. Eye contact has never been a thing I liked. "What you did was incredibly disrespectful and I don't tolerate disruptions and children who can't follow simple rules." I was tempted to cross my arms and glare at her but this is my first day and I don't want to make a bad impression. But then again she's working my last nerves. "Well maybe if you would-" "I would watch what the next words that come out of that pretty little mouth if I were you." She said, interrupting me. I bawled my hands into fist trying to keep my anger in. She noticed this and smiled while leaning forward and put her elbows on her desk. "I know you must have heard about me by now." She said with that smirk plastered greatly on her face as if she was proud. I was a little confused seeing as I haven't heard anything about anyone until thoughts of what Logan told me came to my head. I don't know if that was her but seeing as the look on her face held cockyness I'm assuming she was the Professor Logan was talking about. At this point I wasn't even trying to hold back my attitude. I put my hands on her desk and leaned forwards until I was about three inches away from her face. "I don't give a damn what's between your legs. I will not be treated like a f*****g dog." I watched as her smirk diminish a little but soon came back. "We'll see about that." She whispered. I swear I saw her eyes flicker down to my lips but quickly looked back at me. She leaned away from me and started typing on her computer. "Class ended Miss Wilson. Leave." I continued to watch her until it started getting too uncomfortable. I pushed myself back and walked away. Right when I was at the door her voice stopped me. "I'm going to have fun with you princess."
