In broad daylight,horses were moved in a great force and speed as a series of princes raced to the one on the front,A race in the forest mountains held between the twenty six year old crown prince(Han Tae Yoon),The crown prince's uncle( Yoon Jae),The crown prince's cousin(Dong Hyun),The crown prince's younger uncle(Jeong Hoon),The crown prince's younger cousin(Young Ho) The race was for defying if any of the princes with the royal blood could defeat the future king,it was like a silly little race on the outside but everyone of them knew that if they were to defeat Han Tae Yoon,then a great honour shall be restored upon them The one who headed the race hunt was Tae Yoon leaving the other's behind in a long distance,he set his eyes out for any available deer,when he finally spotted one in the middle of the forest he set his bow and arrow for the aim.A shot perfectly hit as if it was done by an expert,the other princes stopped in their tracks after seeing they had been defeated and turned their horses around,angrily riding away Tae Yoon paid no heed to them as if he was on his own from the beginning,he got off his horse and patted it praising it for the job well done. He slowly headed to the area where he had hit the deer to claim his victory,walking around the area he heard a slight movement behind him,For someone who had been experiencing several murder attacks he spotted the deal at first glance. He cautiously moved to the area from where he had heard the movement but there he found the peaceful little deer shaking to capture its last breath .He bent down and slowly traced his hand on the dears head as if apologising to it,but then he sensed that he wasn't alone "Who are you?" Tae Yoon asked Meanwhile the defeated princes had arrived at the palace glancing at their grandfather(The King,Han). Shame folded their heads,the king looked at them dissapointedly before clapping his hands and laughing "My grandson...." he trailed off in a happy tone "I was right to make you the king." he added making his right hand man(Bak So Dong) smirk(totally agreeing with the king's joke) The heads of the proud princes were bent in shame because of the king's mockery,none of them were new to being beaten by Tae Yoon but this was the first time done under the king's supervisory(eyes) The king was proud that the rumor that said none of the royal blood's could defeat the future king wasn't all talk "King,I can't find Tae Yoon" So Dong said in an alarming tone,since the race hunt had been over a while ago,it didn't seem right for the crown prince to not have arrived at the palace to receive his reward,everybody knew that Tae Yoon was a victim of several murder attempts and that put the king in alarm The prince fought with the masked killer,defending and attacking with a huge skill but so did the killer.The killer seemed trained and ultimately talented unlike the others..this one was so skilled it hurt his pride.On a swing of his sword the attacker cut Tae Yoon's left hand causing him to fall. "Prince" So Dong called after marking the prince's location only to find him under attack,the other soldiers got alarmed and headed their way making the killer to run The soldiers chased Kim Ji Hoon(the killer)and Back So Dong went I've rto the prince first as his first priority,"Crown prince"So Dong called "It's fine.Am fine.Catch him." Tae Yoon said heavily panting,Although Bak So Dong didn't believe the crown prince's words he bowed(A sign of respect) and ran after the killer. On the run,the killer was extremely skilled and seemed to know the forest's trail better than anyone,they lost him in a matter of minutes,the other soldiers were kept on the lookout as So Dong heads back to Tae Yoon "Crown prince." So Dong called shocked to find the king sitting down looking miserable. "The asshole cut my arm." Tae Yoon cursed and laughed,his pride was hurt after seeing that the killer was way skilled than he was of course he would never blurt that out loud. So Dong picked the young prince up and escorted him to his horse,when he was sure they the prince could rode in that position he got on hi horse and the two of them rode off. Inside the king's chamber... Tae Yoon knelt bleeding in front of his grandfather his other hand laying effortlessly on his cut,the young beauty looked a mess,and you didn't need glasses to see he had an absolutely tough opponent,his grandfather looked at him with sympathy written all over his face and impulsively made his decision "Bak So Dong...." he called in a tough tone to the man who was standind two doors outside the chamber ,When he heard the call So Dong rushed in like the loyal dog he was "My king" he responded and bowed his head "Hire the best swordsman in the whole of Joseon for Tae Yoon's protection." The king ordered and So Dong bowed since he for one completely agreed with the king's decision "But Grandfather...." Yoon began to object,since he for one believed he didn't need any protection and also his pride wouldn't let him be protected "I don't remember asking for your opinion." Grandfather Han said sending Yoon a meaningful gaze before looking back at So Dong, "Make sure he is the best in protecting my grandson also....take this prideful i***t to the royal nurse to get his wounds treated ."
