The medical team gave her first aid and moved her to the hospital to check her condition and treat her. Brigadier General couldn't think straight as he walks back and forth outside the room where Alyxia is being treated.

"I want you to investigate and find out who gave the order to let those wild foxes out of their cage without my consent, " the governor ordered his trusted lieutenant to investigate.

After Brigadier General learned that the governor doesn't know anything about it, he couldn't help but think that the only culprit is Fuhrer-President. That president is the only one who's very loyal to the king of the Ryland Kingdom of the West Area. It's not impossible for him to even betray the governor even if he is the Supreme Governor of the Supreme Division and Military Hierarchy. But he can't do anything but remain silent.

After several days, Alyxia woke up. What happened to her left a deep scar on her left eye. Alyxia doesn't care about how did it ruin her beauty instead a lightning-shaped deep scar on her left eye distinguished her feature so that when everyone sees her, they'll remember what happened in that competition.

Years passed and Alyxia graduated from Military Academy and become an official member of Demon Hunter then got promoted to a member of the Military of Hailbough Town. Although she dreamed of becoming the Prime Lieutenant Governor, she rejected the offer for her to be promoted and become a member of the Military Hierarchy. She wants her father to be promoted first.

The bond between Alyxia and her father revolves around fighting demons and restoring humanity. She was then feared by anyone, respected, and become infamous for being the most fearless, merciless, and skilled demon hunter all around the world at a very young age. Time flies so fast that now she is already nineteen years old.

"Did you find the fourth participant?" Alyxia asked her father about the third boy who saved her from those wild foxes.

"No lead, honey. No one can tell who is that boy back then."

Her father gave her a folder. The profile of those three participants was piled up at the top of those papers in her study table except for the fourth participant who remained unknown. Alyxia wants to meet them but they were scattered on different continents that's why her father is having a hard time following them around.

"Bryce Holden, Bryant Jones, and Eva Edden. I wanna meet them. But I think they joined the military group in other continents."

Alyxia can't do anything to meet them. She is assigned to patrol in Central Area only because she is rejected to be promoted at the International Military Hierarchy.

Brigadier General stood up and hugged his daughter. "My sweet child, I promise to find them, convince them, and bring them to you," he comforted her.

Alyxia smiled at her father's comforting words. After their conversation, they decided to sleep and relax because tomorrow will be another tiring day. They will check each city and village in Central Area to eliminate demons lurking in those areas. Mostly they find demons in the outskirt areas.

On that night, Brigadier General received a letter containing an order for him to patrol at West Area. Someone has secretly given an order to him with the governor's seal so he didn't hesitate to follow what was written in that letter. After reading it, he burned it down as the content says so.

"My beautiful daughter... I love you so much." He went out after checking up on his daughter who is sleeping soundly.

Riding his white horse, he made his way to the West Area to start patrolling at night. Although it's very suspicious for the governor to order him around at times like this, he doesn't want to defy the governor's order because he respects and trusts him so much. Brigadier General didn't know that that kiss will be his last kiss to his daughter. It was already midnight when a group of demons ambushed him at Helbram Village of West Area.

Alyxia thought she will wake up peacefully. But the news broke her into pieces. Her father was found dead in Helbram Village, West Area. The coroners stated that demons ambushed him. According to how he was killed, demons are the culprit.

Alyxia doesn't feel anything except emptiness. Anyone wonders why there are no tears in her eyes. But she is bleeding inside. Her world shattered into pieces. She feels like her heart was stabbed over and over again yet she's numbed. She couldn't think straight as she stares coldly at her father's tombstone.

"You may go, I will stay by her side," the governor encourages the town's people to go on as the sky becomes dark.

The funeral went well but Alyxia looks like a lifeless doll standing in front of his father's grave. No one shares her pain but Governor Stephen. She remained there and the governor. When the town's people went home, the rain pours like there was no tomorrow. Governor Stephen Craig VII couldn't stop himself but cry in front of the Brigadier General's grave. They were best friends, childhood friends.

"Governor, am I supposed to cry?" Alyxia asked with her stone-cold voice and emotionless face.

The governor looks up at Alyxia only to get taken aback by her intimidating reaction. She is emotionless yet her eyes scream revenge. Her dark aura is something you should be scared of.

"Is it normal to feel this unbearable pain but no tears will come out of my eyes? Or will it be better to cry with blood?" Her stone cold voice sent chills down the governor's spine.

Governor Stephen thinks that it will be normal to see her mourn and weep like the world will end today. But she seems to be out of herself.

"Why are you so silent?" Alyxia asked then gave him a cold stare.

Governor Stephen stood up and then silently held Alyxia to give her a tight warm comforting hug. And in that very moment, Alyxia burst into tears. She cried hard and loud that even the thunder got frightened to interrupt her. The rain poured down continuously as the lightning reigns over each side of the city. The governor and Alyxia didn't mind the cold and the rain.

At that moment, Alyxia vowed to the governor that she will find those demons who killed her father in Helbram Village and avenge him. Not telling him the fact that she believes her father's death is very skeptical. So she is also suspecting the governor.

"Brigadier General Domenico, the western side is clear," Alyxia's trusted sergeant reported.

The silent village was often visited by Alyxia to make sure that all demons lurking in this area got annihilated. After three years, Alyxia was promoted to replace her father's position. She didn't waste that opportunity to find the demons who have killed her father. Now she is Brigadier General Alyxia Domenico of the Military Officers of Military Hierarchy under the leadership of Lieutenant General Alphonse Dandelion.

Within these three years, she didn't forget her will to find the truth behind her father's death. It may be a demon's ambush but that's too skeptical when she witnessed how her father hunts demons mercilessly. Why would he even patrol at night when they were about to sleep? Now that she is suspecting other officials, especially the governor, she needs to be at the top of the summit to know the truth and order anyone around. That's why she wants a rapid promotion.

"We will do the last round and continue patrolling at night. Inform everyone," Alyxia replied then faced Sergeant Dahlia Francisco. "I hate being addressed by another name other than Alyxia or Aly."

The sergeant nodded ignoring her last words. "Right away, Lady Alyxia," she said with a hint of teasing in her voice.

Alyxia caressed her white horse's face before glaring at the said sergeant. The sergeant turned herself and informed others about their leader's plan. After losing her father, she became elusive and strict. She's not friendly but every member of her team loves her so much because of how wise, talented, skilled, and a good leader she is. Although she doesn't trust anyone, everyone will always learn to trust her easily.

Every time she encounters demons, she's not wasting any minute to annihilate them immediately. Alyxia is a strict leader. But because of her, rapid promotions were offered to members of Military Officers, especially her who will soon receive the title of the Prime Lieutenant Governor of Hailbough Town. Everyone is amazed of her that the students at Military Academy she is handling couldn't wait for another year to join her in her next expedition.

Military Hierarchy and Supreme Division are International Military Organizations. They can patrol any content they want to check. Meanwhile, militaries in each continent can only patrol in their town or continent. There are eight divisions that the Supreme Division is handling while Military Hierarchy has five divisions. Before and during the demons' invasion, all militaries are gathered and Supreme Division and Military Hierarchy join forces to protect all the people of each continent of the world.

Their patrolling continued silently until midnight. Alyxia will go home tomorrow to visit his father's grave before she takes her to leave for a vacation. She needs to unwind after suffocating herself from patrolling in different places for three years. She's also tired from her past expeditions.

"Unit 3 is dismissed. I will take my leave for two weeks to freshen up a bit," Alyxia announced.

Her team gave her their sad faces. She pulled the leash of her horse and faced them completely. The moonlight serves as their light and guide. It's already midnight and demons are more active at this time but for some reason, no demon came. The trees were tall. After this dense forest, they will see the big two tollgates of Central Area, leading to Hailbough Town and Rustes Town.

"I don't want complaints from you and I won't expect anything. I will let Lieutenant General handle this unit for the meantime until I come back," she continued explaining.

The statement Alyxia is like a sad farewell to them. No one tried to interrupt her. They are all listening.

"I hope you learned something from me. I know I've been a rough leader but that's for your own sake. For now, I have things to take care of aside from hunting demons so be good while Lieutenant General handles you." Everyone remained silent.

Alyxia is picky when it comes to picking her team. But she chooses cowardly people and inexperience who have chances to hone their skills in hunting demons. She doesn't care if it's too risky to pick weak and slow people to join her unit. She believes in her skills as long as they respect and believe in her then everything will be fine for them. And now, members of her unit were all skilled and talented demon hunters who will be receiving their promotional titles a week from now.

"Any question?"

They all shook their head.

"Good." She felt relieved.

Even if she is strict, she learned to love them too. She trained each one of them and taught them everything even though they all have graduated from Military Academy.

It was already morning when they reached the tollgates, separating the two towns of Central Area. Alyxia will enter the right gate while her unit will all enter the left gate. Everyone in her unit was already giving her a hint to stay but she's already decided to leave for a vacation.

"We hope for you to be one of the officials of the Supreme Division! You deserve a higher promotion, respected Brigadier General Alyxia Domenico!" the sergeant of the unit shouted while Alyxia continued encouraging her horse to walk.

Alyxia heard her. Until each one of them speaks up to give her their farewell words for now.

"You have our gratitude!"

"We respect you so much!"

Tears formed in her eyes but she didn't look back instead she waved her right hand. She doesn't need to gain friends. She already has them. Alyxia arrived at her hometown. There's a huge improvement in their town that she can't almost recognize the houses even their marketplace.
