Stanley

"Have you gone crazy Stanley? How many times I have to tell you not to involve in any kind of thing that can stimulate you, affect you. But no you never listen to me. You get involved in the fight, worst of all. What if you would have got too stimulated and shown your true identity" dad was shouting at me. He used to care for me too much and he always tends to make me stay far from the normal human world. The thing I did today was a huge mistake of mine. It could have revealed my identity which was been hidden my whole life.

"I am sorry dad, but those guys were bullying a poor girl. I couldn't stand it"

"Since, when did you start worrying about random girls. This Friday is your brother's engagement please don't create any disturbance till then please"

"I am sorry dad", I apologize again

"Don't say sorry to me, I am just worried about you. I still remember the first time you sifted into that deadly animal. I was the only one who saw my son inside it and fought with your mom, for you"

"I know dad, you chose me so mom left you"

"That isn't the reason, Your mom and I were not compatible that is the reason for our divorce. Don't take the blame on yourself"

"I promise you, dad, from now on I will not make you worry about me", I hugged him in agony.

My shift wasn't my choice. No one knew when and where I will shift to a dead animal and kill everybody around me. I don't remember anything after I shift I just wakeup in normal human form naked and weak after that. In my first shift which happened when I was 10. I gave a scar to my dad. Huge one on his back but still he agreed to keep me. I wasn't even his child but he still showered me with love that I couldn't had get from my own parents. I am just grateful that apart from my dark life there is a little brightness which is my family.

"I know you will never let me down. And this not time to mourn this is the time to party, your brother is finally getting engaged and you are getting a sister law"

"Dad I don't know why you fixed brother engagement to a girl who is six years younger than him?"

"This is better Stanley, you will know it later"

"but still, is brother even happy?"

"He is happy, he liked the girl. It is better if we marry him to a girl who is young and ignorant. That way our family secret will stay a secret"

"I understand"

That was needed actually because every full moon dad locks me up in the cabin. Because full moon triggers me up and I become monstrous killing everyone around me. It isn't in my hand, if only I was a normal guy like my brother I would have enjoyed my life but this thing has caught me up and my life is nothing but a prison.

Arushi

It was early in the morning and I was supposed to take Aditi shopping for her engagement. Mr. Shahi gave me leave from my job and I was happy because that gave me time to search for my mom.

And what place can be more efficient than a shopping complex if you are searching for a middle-aged lady. I took my purse and the picture of my mom with me. "I am coming for you mom"

"Arushi, What is taking so long? We are getting late. Saurav's family must be on the shopping complex by now"

"I am coming"

"This is the first time Saurav and I are going somewhere together"

"Really, Can I ask you something Aditi?"

"yes"

"Do you think Saurav is the right guy for you?"

"Why?"

"It's just you two haven't talked to eachother, haven't spent time together. You two know nothing about eachother"

"That is the beauty of arranged marriage. We two will begin from the start, we will have lots of time to know eachother."

"Still, what if that guy is nothing like you expected"

"Common, Arushi. What can go wrong they are one of the richest families in the country. I will live like a princess there"

"You will, I just hope happiness for you"

"I know, now let's go. I don't want to be late"

It took us half an hour to reach the shopping complex and Aditi was right everyone was there already. As the Tejwa family was there the whole shopping complex was empty.

"look this is the privilege of rich families," said Aditi with a smile

"Is Saurav's younger brother coming here too"

"Why, are you interested in him?"

"It's not like that, I was just curious"

"I know everything you might be planning your wedding in my wedding"

"That is not the case. Don't you think he is a little bit crazy?"

"a little bit! he is craziest of all. Girls go crazy to be with him but he ignores everyone and is always alone. Honestly, I used to like him a lot when he first came here after finishing his study in the USA. So handsome, so hot but later on when I came to know about his true nature, I began to hate him. It's a warning for you too don't get too close with him, he isn't a nice guy"

"But, I don't know why I find innocency in his eye"

"See, you also got Stanley's fever"

"What is that?"

"every girl gets it when they first see Stanley, so it's not your mistake you will realize it later"

"Common, he doesn't seem to be that bad"

"He is and you will believe me", meanwhile we were already with the Tejwa family. I greeted everyone and Aditi went to everyone to greet them. Despite the whole family being there my eyes were only searching for Stanley. He wasn't there. It was the first time I was seeing Arvind Tejwa infront of me, he was my idol. He was there with his son Saurav, Chaya, and his daughter Tanya. We all went inside the shopping complex. Tanya and Chaya took Aditi to choose sari, Saurav and Mr. Tejwa walked behind them. I was hoping for the same, I wanted spare time to search for my mother. The whole shopping complex was empty due to Tejwa's family so it was worthless being there. I went outside without informing anyone. There was a park opposite the road. I took my chance and went inside it. It was filled with couples and families. Mom in the picture was 23 years younger than she would be now. So I had to be careful and ready about that too.

"Mam, cola cola cola", a boy came toward me and kept repeating cola.

"Okay give one for me", I said and gave him 50 Rs from my purse.

I walked here and there but I couldn't see mom in anyone. My hope wasn't shattered a little because I knew if someone wants something truly then the whole universe takes part to make it true. If not that day, someday will come when my head will be in her lap.

I had cola in my hands and lots of benches at the park to sit so I thought of taking the advantage of it. While I was walking, I stumbled on the grass and fell on a bench. I knew I didn't fall on the wood but was on someone's lap. My whole Cola fell on his pant.

"I am so sorry, I didn't mean to do that", I said dragging myself up from there.

"What the hell, don't you have eyes", he screamed

"Stanley", I shouted when I found out that it was him

"yes, how do you manage to irritate me every time. Can't I have a peaceful time alone in the park"

"I am sorry, I didn't fall because I wanted to. I stumbled on the grass"

"If you want to stumble then fall away from me. Why you have to fall near me. Look at me you messed up my clothes. Because of you son of Arvind Tejwa is wearing dirty soaked pants. Now you must be happy right"
