SNEAK PEEK

Gabrielle's POV

I looked at the shelf rack as I thought about what to buy.

I already had a basket with me with some necessities but I wanted to get snacks.

Snacks that others and myself could enjoy together.

I picked out a few packs of my chosen snacks.

And then, I felt a vibration in my pocket so I fished out my phone.

I looked at my phone and saw that Bella was calling me.

I answered the call immediately.

"Hey, what's up? Is everything okay?" I asked as I took another pack of snack and put it inside the basket I was holding.

Then, I started walking to go to the beverage section.

"Yes and no"

"What's wrong?" I asked worried.

"Well, my brother won't leave me alone. He keeps asking me where you are and that I should call you and tell you to come back quickly"

"Why? What's going on? He seemed fine earlier. Is he feeling unwell now?" I asked still worried.

"No, not really. He is being a bit too...nevermind. Anyways, how much longer will you be gone?"

I arrived at the beverage section and picked out some healthy beverage options and put it in mu basket.

"I just need to pay up and I'll be there" I said as I made my way to the counter to check out.

I wonder what's going on back there.
