Chapter 65

201 Words
SNEAK PEEK Gabrielle's POV "Alexander, I really would prefer it if you don't come with me" I said to Alexander. Yet again, he had found a way to involve himself in the most inconvenient situations. "You do the weirdest and even dangerous things here and there and I don't understand why" he said. "You also refuse to explain why you're doing all of it so the least I can do is accompany you to make sure that you're at least fine and safe rather than dead" he continued. I sighed. "So you're risking your own safety to ensure mine? And you think that's better?" I said. Alexander didn't answer. I bit my lower lip and shook my head. I looked outside the car window and just waited until we got to the location. I felt incredibly nervous. And I had every reason to feel the way I was feeling. This was a dangerous mission. And I had someone with me. Someone I shouldn't be with during these times. I sighed once more. I really don't know what to do with Alex anymore. He's too stubborn. After some time, we finally arrived. We were both quiet. He really shouldn't come with me.
