Gabrielle's POV

Darkness.

All I could see was...darkness.

Then, I heard beeping sounds.

What was that?

I tried to move.

I couldn't.

I just...couldn't.

What's happening?

I felt anxious.

Suddenly, I caught a smell.

An unfamiliar yet common smell.

Then, more beeping.

Where am I?

I kept trying to open my eyes.

I needed to do something.

But even after trying so hard, I still couldn't do it.

If I could sigh, I would.

Then, I heard the sound of the door opening.

I focused on that sound.

"See? She's still right there"

It was Bella's voice.

"Yeah. She is"

That was Mika.

Then I heard the sound of chair being dragged.

"When is your brother coming?" Mika asked.

"I'm sure he'll be here in a few minutes. He doesn't want to be away here for too long" Bella said.

Then I heard a sigh.

"Do you think she'll wake up soon?" Bella suddenly blurted.

Who were they talking about?

Was it me?

Are they talking about me?

"She will. I know she will. I hope she will. She needs to. I...we can't lose her" Mika said.
