Everyone was on the floor as they watch the huge chunk of rocks heading their way
“Water Creation Magic: Aqua Sphere” Sarah casted then the water in the ground formed a barrier protecting everyone
“Help!” someone shouted and she sounds desperate
“Everyone calm down! Do not panic! We have everything under control now”
“Healer tend to the wounded”
“Everyone prepare for battle as long as we are inside this barrier demons can’t pass through” Sarah motivates
“Ty we are counting on your leadership” Sarah said then he pats Tyrone’s shoulder
“I’ll just remain here and sustain the barrier” She said with a smile on her face
“Golpo!” Sarah said then Golpo picks her up and places her in its shoulder
“I need your help on this okay”
“I don’t think I can’t manage to heal everyone so I am counting on you to do it for me okay”
“Together let’s save Eden” Sarah said
“Water Healing Magic: Water Spirit’s Blessing” Sarah casted and the water barrier can now replenish the energy of her allies
Several more minutes later the entire ceiling finally collapsed making a huge opening. Thousands of demons start flocking above them. The civilians starts to panic upon seeing the countless demon above them
“Do not worry everyone as long as this barrier is up no one will get harmed”
“Mark my words” Sarah shouted
“Water Creation Magic: Aqua Cannon” Sarah casted then the water barrier formed several cannon that shoots water balls
“Water Enhancement Magic: Calming Mist” Sarah casted to soothe the quivering civilians
“Healers! Round up the civilians for me okay and assist them towards the center so I can keep a close eye in all of them”
“Also then to the wounded earlier the water that Golpo secretes is enough to heal them completely” Sarah said
“If this continues we would be in serious trouble”
“I don’t know how long can I sustain this barrier while summoning you” Sarah said
At the ground Tyrone and the rest of the students are all geared up
“Okay guys what we discuss earlier is now irrelevant”
“Demons are now swarming everywhere. So, the best course of action is to make a defensive line in around this barrier”
“I’ll be counting on the marksmen to deal the most damage because we can’t let the assassin and knights to fight head to head”
“It would be too risky to send them outside the barrier” Tyrone said
“Listen up everyone this is the plan”
“All marksmen should hold their fire”
“Shoot only when you think it is necessary. Sarah said that demons can’t pass through this barrier but we can’t guarantee that”
“We also lack supplies so use them wisely okay” Tyrone said particularly to the marksmen
“Assassins, knights, tanks, and other close combat fighters if you can kill demons outside the barrier please do so”
“Think of it as a game of tag and you need to strike the enemy once then run so you can’t be tagged back”
“A friendly reminder don’t be too full of yourself when heading outside the barrier”
“Keep in mind that demons outnumber us one hundred by one. Better play it smart” Tyrone said to the rest of the group
“Now move!” Tyrone ordered
Tyrone takes a deep breath as he asset their current situation
“If I am Jophiel’s host it would be nice if his powers starts to awaken now”
“I would really need a power boost to burn these demons”
“Ahhhhh why does it to be now when Sir Draxx left” Tyrone ranted
He starts walking closer to the barrier which grabs the nearby students’ attention. Tyrone slowly moves his palm towards the barrier and then touches it. He gives it a short push and his hands just passes through
“Splendid!” Tyrone said with a smirk on his face
He made a couple of stretches then he exits the barrier entering the battlefield
“Looks like it is time” Sarah said then the water cannons starts firing
“Fire Destruction Magic: Fireball” Tyrone said then balls of fire start falling from the sky. Demons that were hover above him were struck down
The balls of fire continue falling making a defense line
On Tyrone’s command the nearby close combat fighters stepped out of the barrier then three Class A demons landed on the battlefield
“Everyone retreat!” Tyrone shouted then they all quickly ran towards the barrier
“That was scary!” Tyrone said with a funny expression of his face
Then Tyrone has this disturbed look on his face. He starts searching the area and his expression worsens the moment he can’t find Maximus anywhere.
“Darn it” Tyrone said as he clenches his fists
“Did any of you see Maximus? Did he manage to return here before the onslaught?” Tyrone ask the nearby students but sad to say no one saw him
He starts searching the entire area but he had no luck on finding him
“You there!”
“Tell everyone to refrain from going outside the barrier”
“Maximus hasn’t returned yet. I need to bring him back” Tyrone said to a group of students”
“Mark! Mark!” Tyrone repeated shouts as he looks over the place
“Have any of you seen Mark?” Tyrone ask the nearby students but they too haven’t seen Mark
“Don’t tell me he too is outside this barrier” a thought inside Tyrone head
He is getting depressed just by thinking about it, then mist shrouds him, calming him down. A couple of deep breaths and he is now back on track
He grabs himself a sword as he marches towards the barrier
“Fireball” Tyrone casted then balls of fire start falling from the sky clearing a path for him
Everyone don’t go outside until I haven’t return”
“I’ll just bring back two trouble makers okay”
“Take care everyone” Tyrone said with a pleasant smile on his face
The moment he turned and walked away his mood changed from lively to fierce. The moment he stepped out of the barrier his sword then burst into flames
“Fire Destruction Magic: Flare Burst” Tyrone casted then a huge surging flame was unleashed through his sword that wiped out the demons in front of him. Even the Class A demon didn’t stand a chance against that spell
Several feet away from the cave entrance Tyrone saw something or someone. He lowered his sword thinking it might be Mark and Maximus.
“Mark? Max? Is that you” He shouts then three boulders where launch at him but he easily cuts through using his sword
‘An Elemental user” Tyrone said as he slowly takes a few steps back
“I didn’t know more elemental users were here?”
“Come on play with me” The kid said as he launch three more boulders
Tyrone know this kid is serious trouble so he decided to flee
“Leaving so soon?” The kid said then walls of earth surround Tyrone
Using fire magic he quickly melts one of the walls to make his escape
“Oh well I thought I could play some more” the kid said while pouting
“The two from earlier were no fun” the kid ranted
The wall of earth starts to crumble and the kid starts to advance together with several Class A demons
“Everyone fall back!” Tyrone said as he ran towards the barrier
Everyone quickly evacuated the frontlines and head to the center of the barrier where Golpo and the civilians are residing
“Earth Destruction Magic: Fissure” The kid cast then he taps the end of his staff at the ground rapturing it but the spell didn’t even pass through the barrier
“Ey?”
“A top tier barrier” the kid reacted with a dismay look on his face
He walks closer to the barrier and touches it. The moment his palm touches the water it burns
“I see, a holy magic user”
“Looks like Raphael has finally awaken”
“Finally the time has come to have my revenge!” the kid said in a demonic manner
“Arise the monster of corrupted earth Behemoth” the kids said then the ground starts to shake and the terrain starts to crumble. From the depths of the earth a monster made of hardened magma rose from the ground. It has a head similarly look to a dragon with a shield on each side of its head
The kid then grew wings on its back then flew on top of Behemoth’s head
“Now Behemoth, show them true destruction!” the kid commands then the monster advances towards the barrier
“Oh no!” Golpo reacted upon seeing the Behemoth
“Sarah you know the erosion spell right?”
“I want you to tunnel a way out and bring everyone with you. What we are up against is a reawakened demon lord and with your current power we can’t win.” Golpo said with a desperate look on its face
She grabs Sarah by the waist then gently place her on the ground
“Go!”
“Just follow the path were the barrier extends at the end is an underground passageway use that to make your escape”
“I’ll just remain here and stall these demons and maybe even slaughtering most of them”
“Take care Sarah” Golpo said
