Solomon was about to stab Satan, but he felt something was heading his way, so he immediately withdrew and grouped with Dean and Samantha. Then lightning a strong lightning spell was casted on the same location where Solomon was standing
“Wise choice” Dean said.
Solomon just smiled as he shook his head.
“Trinity Mo” Satan was about to say but he was interrupted.
“That’s enough,” Someone said with authority as he grabbed Satan’s shoulder.
Satan was pissed as he turned around only to see Ryzen with a forceful smile on his face. Ryzen seems unpleasant seeing Satan acting like that.
“What are you doing?”
“Didn’t I make myself clear, Satan?” Ryzen said.
Satan’s flames were extinguished, and Calderas was unsummoned.
“Sorry if my friend here causes you a lot of trouble” Ryzen apologized.
“Asmodeus! Come down here” Ryzen shouted then Asmodeus descended from the sky.
“What is it?” Asmodeus said as she avoids eye contact.
“Explain the mess you two made?” Ryzen said.
“I didn’t do anything!” Asmodeus acting suspicious.
“And why is this area covered with true ice?” Ryzen raised his voice at them.
While they are too busy talking Solomon throws a lightning bolt. With lightning-fast speed Ryzen negated the attack and teleported in front of Solomon
He gave him a slap which immediately paralyzed Solomon then said.
“You know it is rude to bother someone while they are talking, right?”
Then Ryzen shivered. He looked down and saw his feet were getting frozen. He enhanced his feet with lightning magic to break it, but it was too hard. Dean already charged up an elemental beam.
Asmodeus notices that Ryzen was in a tough spot, so she dispels the ice magic that Samantha casted. In a fraction of a second Ryzen burst out Dean’s line of fire but Dean managed to track him down before he fired his beam. He retargets Ryzen then fires.
Then an ice wall rises covering Ryzen, but it immediately shatters, and Ryzen was there standing with his fist clenched and enhanced with lightning magic.
“Now isn’t the time to fight mortals.”
“So, we're leaving,” Ryzen said.
“But why!” Satan ranted.
Then Asmodeus holds Satan’s mouth and freezes him then said
“Okay Lucifer” with a pleasant tone
Ryzen then took off and Asmodeus took off as well carrying Satan.
“Hey, Ryzen!”
“Why did you choose to team up with the demons? What’s your ideal?” Dean asked.
Ryzen stopped the said
“My ideal of what?”
“Of this world. Surely you have something because you turn against us if both ideals match.”
“By the looks of it we aren’t taking the same path” Dean said.
“I just want this war to end and rest for eternity.”
“Beings who possess God’s face shouldn’t walk on this earth and commit sin.”
“That’s why I am turning against the creation,” Ryzen said.
“Don’t even think about it!” Ryzen said then his eyes turned pitch black and stared at Sol.
Sol then fires its concentrated light beam at Cryo. Cryo vanished as soon as the beam laid contact.
“Zapping Torment” Ryzen casted then black lightning struck Sol making it plummet to the ground.
“No!” Dean shouted then unleashed his angelic wings then flew straight to the demon lords.
“Back down or I’ll end her life” Ryzen said as she pointed Satan’s half blade at Samantha’s neck.
“Okay you win.”
“Just don’t hurt her,” Dean said, then his wings faded.
“I told you earlier.”
“Now isn’t the time to fight.”
“Foolish Satan didn’t listen to my instruction, but I’ll make sure he will get punished” Ryzen said then she pushed Samantha towards Dean then burst back to Asmodeus and Satan.
“This we meet again mortals.”
“I hope next time we meet have proper manners,” Ryzen said, then the demon lords vanished.
Several seconds later it started snowing and it somehow refreshes everyone’s mana and heals every wound.
“What are you up to Ryzen?” a question Dean ask himself
The demons lord fled, and the remaining demons went back to where they came from.
“What happened?” Solomon asked as soon as he regained consciousness.
“And why does my face hurt?” Solomon asked as he rubs his cheek.
Samantha and Dean just giggled then went back to the city.
“Hey wait for me!” Solomon shouted then he chased them.
Dean and Samantha pick up the pace.
“Catch us if you can!” Samantha said, she seems carefree.
With lightning-fast speed Solomon lounged over them then said
“I wish we could have this much fun again,” Solomon said.
“Yeah, I wish this war would stop.”
“Since the dawn of time demons are hunting humans down.”
“Can’t we just have peace?” Samantha said.
“I think we could have that. You saw Ryzen team up with the demons, right?” Dean said.
“Who’s Ryzen?” Solomon asked.
“The top-ranking strategist” Samantha said.
“Huh? Isn’t Tyrone the top rank?” Solomon reacted.
“Before him,” Samantha said.
“Ahhh! The arrogant bastard” Solomon said.
Dean then gave him a bonk in the head.
“What did I do?” Solomon reacted.
“You don’t talk about someone like that.”
“Remember he is still our ally” Dean said.
“Former ally to be exact.”
“You just said that he joined the demons, right?” Solomon said.
“But I can feel that is still him. Unlike Commander. Ryzen has the same sensation he used to” Dean said.
“The question is can we trust him. Now that he is teamed up with the demons?” Samantha asked.
“Beats me.”
“But the way he acted earlier; I know he is planning something.
“With his brilliance and combat tactics we are in serious trouble.”
“I hope he is still our ally,” Dean said.
“Hey Sam, is it just me or did I see the Duke made of ice earlier?” Solomon asked.
“Maybe you’re just dreaming.”
“I did freeze you earlier,” Samantha teased.
“Oh yeah, I almost forgot,” Solomon said as he zapped Samantha.
Samantha was getting tickled, so she ran away.
“You can run but you can’t hide” Solomon said then he chases her.
Dean shook his head with a pleasant smile on his face then shouted.
“Hey! Wait for me!”
They are approaching the city and the wind suddenly gets chill.
“Is it just me or it just got cold all of a sudden?” Solomon asked as he shivered.
They continued walking and Samantha noticed piles of snow on the ground every step of the way. The snow gets thicker as they approach the city.
“Let’s hurry!” Samantha seems disturbed.
Solomon enhances them with lightning magic then they teleport to the city’s gate. They were shocked to see the entire city covered in snow.
“Thank God you’re all safe.”
“Sam, we need your help. The civilians were all frozen and elemental magic seems to have no effect on them,” a mage informed them.
“Bring us to them!” Samantha said.
They hurried to the safe zone in the middle of the city. They saw a collapsed dome of ice.
“No!” Samantha reacted as she saw the fortified earth barrier turned into ice.
With lightning-fast speed she entered the dome
The mages were all there trying to break the ice. Even the most skilled mages did not even put a dent on it.
“This looks bad,” Samantha murmured.
“How long were they frozen?” Samantha asked.
The mages all look at the ground. Looks like none of them knew the answer.
Samantha wields her sacred gear.
“Woah! Your sword looks different” Solomon reacted.
“Maybe because of my new power” Samantha said.
Samantha grasps the tightness of her sword and splits the ice in half. It took her three to four blows to successfully get the body out.
“Go get me the healing mages and fire users to heat him up,” Samantha ordered.
She hands over the guy he extracted earlier to get healed.
The elite healing mage touches the body then his face suddenly has this hopeless expression.
He looked at Samantha and seriously said.
“I can no longer help him.”
“I can only prolong life; I can never return it.”
Everyone closest to them got this pitiful expression on their face
Samantha wields her sword and starts extracting the frozen civilians. She was silent during the whole process and the others felt disturb because of this.
“Sam” Dean said as she touched Samantha’s shoulder.
She was cold as ice, so Dean immediately let go.
“Sam you’re using way too much mana you should rest for a while” Dean suggested.
“No, not unless I extracted them all.”
“I want to give them all a proper burial,” Samantha said in monotone.
“But you don’t have to do it in a rush.”
“The demons might come back and you’re using too much mana.”
“Aren’t you getting exhausted?” Dean asked.
“I am fine. Don’t worry” Samantha said in monotone.
