“You dummy! I don’t hate you I hate the demon who is inside you” Draxx whispered.
Sora was touched so she quickly went in tears then her aura came back, and it formed a snake-like head that immediately strike Draxx
Then something pushed Draxx away
“Sora!” Draxx shouted as he saw Sora inflicting self-harm onto herself.
He was about to burst straight in to assist her, but Kirin fired a beam in front of him. Draxx looks at Kirin.
Kirin had this serious look on his face as he shook his head.
“Help me Draxx!” Sora said in a demonic voice.
Draxx seems hesitant but he tries helping Sora, but Kirin will not let him.
“Stay away from here!” Kirin was pissed.
“Draxx!” Sora shouted like she was in extreme pain.
Draxx feels sorry for her but he can’ do anything to help her. His heart starts to race and he is feeling guilty suddenly.
“I should really do something but what?” Draxx asked himself.
He just stares at Sora with a clenched jaw.
“I can’t take this no more!” Draxx shouted then he unsummons Kirin.
With lightning-fast speed Draxx immediately tend to Sora
“Are you alright?” Draxx worriedly asked.
Then Sora strangled Draxx then the snake-like aura appeared again. Draxx tried paralyzing Sora using lightning magic but this goo like substance covering her skin insulates the electricity.
The snake-like aura was about to devour Draxx’ head but Kirin manifested then took the hit for him.
“Kirin! No!” Draxx shouted.
Kirin then first a beam targeting Sora’s hands, but she immediately let go.
Draxx summoned his sacred gear and sliced the aura setting Kirin free.
Kirin looks in bad shape.
“Don’t worry about me, worry about Sora.”
“That demon is devouring her soul once that demon takes over Sora will be gone forever” Kirin said.
“How do we save her?” Draxx asked as he seemed in a rush.
“I am sorry, but I don’t know,” Kirin said.
“Then we will just try everything, surely one of them might work” Draxx motivated himself.
With lightning-fast speed Draxx went as close as he could. He focused on Sora’s aura just in case the snake head pops out.
“Sora! If you can hear me say something” Draxx shouted using telepathy
“Draxx help me I am scared” Sora said.
“What are you afraid of?”
“Don’t tell me you’re still afraid of the dark?” Draxx teased.
Then the snakehead pops out but Draxx came prepared
Several minutes passed and Sora did not say a single word. Then dark sludge drips off Sora's face. Draxx's heart started racing.
“Draxx fall back!” Kirin shouted.
With lightning-fast speed Draxx went to Kirin’s side
Sora’s body then started to be covered in dark sludge which slowly hardened. Draxx has this disgusted look in his face as he looks at it.
“I feel like I am going to throw up,” Draxx reacted.
Then the dark aura transformed into two snake heads which Draxx did not like
Out of nowhere Luis came crashing down slicing the two snake heads and landing a clean hit in Sora’s head but hit katana shattered upon contact on Sora. The snake heads quickly regenerate and strikes. With lightning-fast speed Draxx manage to cut one of its heads and pull Luis out of there
“What the f**k are you doing?”
“Shouldn’t you be hiding in the safe zone?” Draxx said.
“I saw lightning earlier, so I checked it out and I saw you fighting this sludge monster again” Luis said.
“Guts won’t take you anywhere kid.”
“Just stay put and let me handle this,” Draxx said.
“I can fight!” Luis said.
“No! Even if you are the greatest student I have you cannot fight. Not at that condition and you don’t even have a weapon to begin with” Draxx
“I know I landed on a fatal blow earlier but somethings off.”
“That sludge monster is so tough my katana broke.”
“I would be careful if I were you” Luis said
Luis warned Draxx of the potential danger he might encounter.
“Let’s see how she can handle this blade” Draxx said then he wields his sacred gear.
“Kirin” Draxx said then Kirin charges in
They came in both directions.
“That’s it, puny mortals come at me” a demonic voice then chuckles.
It cannot manage to keep up with Draxx and Kirin’s speed, but their attacks are not working.
“Was that it? Pathetic!”
“What more if I regained all my powers. That b***h surely put up a great fight” the demon said.
“Monster!” Draxx shouted then he charges in
“So, you want more,” the demon said, then she intercepts.
“Kirin now!” Draxx shouted.
Kirin fires a beam that struck the demon’s back.
“Ahhh that hurt” the demon teased.
“Hell no!” Draxx reacted as he saw the demon’s back quickly regenerate.
“Have more brilliant schemes?”
“Come on! Try me” the demon taunted.
“Sir I think I can beat him!”
“Just let me borrow one of your daggers!” Luis shouted.
“You stay out of this,” Draxx said.
“Why not let the kid participate in Draxx.”
“His eyes are craving to s*******r me” the demon said.
“I don’t care!” Draxx said.
“K” the demon reacted.
“I am out. I don’t want to deal with people like you.”
“You should learn to trust your subordinates and give them a shot.”
“They may look unfit for the job but remember looks can be deceiving” the demon said then she went on her way.
With lightning-fast speed Draxx teleported in front of the demon but still maintaining his distance
“And where do you think you are going?” Draxx seriously asked.
“Outta here” the demon said.
“And do you think I would let you slide that easily?”
“Kirin” Draxx said then they charge in
“Even how many times you try you can’t beat me.”
“Why are you wasting your time even though you know you can’t beat me.”
“If I were you, I would give that kid a chance,” the demon said.
“As if I would fall under your trap. He is just a student and with your caliber I know he can’t match yours.”
“Here I am a professional grinding my balls out but can’t even land a fatal blow” Draxx ranted.
“You know what I just despise the likes of you.”
“Never invalidate someone because they lack experience and you don’t know that they might be the key in winning this fight. He just needs a chance to prove himself.”
“Even how skilled you are, if that kid has a better strategy than you, he might have a chance in beating me,” the demon said.
“Nice try but it won’t work on me.”
“You are really good in words Sora, but you can’t smoothly talk me into this one.”
“What if I gave him a chance and he failed? I can’t let my subordinate down because of my misjudgment,” Draxx said.
“I can’t argue with that.”
“But how long can you keep up?”
“Surely you used an awfully large amount of mana with that speed enhancement skill you are using” the demon said.
“I don’t care. I just want to bring back Sora!” Draxx said.
“Sorry bud but that b***h is long gone” the demon said.
“Not yet!”
“I can still feel she’s inside there!”
“Sora! Wake up!” Draxx shouted.
Then the demon felt something. Looks like Sora is resonating with Draxx’ voice.
“It can’t be” the demon reacted.
The demon was off guard and Kirin managed to stab his horn at the demon’s back.
“Foolish beast” the demon then the two snake-head aura bit him
Draxx immediately teleported to cut the aura but the demon managed to block his attack.
“Too easy,” the demon said.
“Paralyzing Spark” Draxx casted then electricity flowed in his daggers.
The demon was paralyzed.
“Lightning destruction magic: Lightning Rod” Draxx casted then lightning struck the demon.
The demon just giggled.
“Stop tickling me” the demon teased.
While the demon was off guard Draxx sliced off the snake heads. Kirin was set free, and they immediately burst out of the scene.
“You can’t win a war alone.”
“Sometimes you need to rely on someone just to get the job right.”
“Remember that no man is an island” the demon said.
Draxx just smiles.
“Sure, I’ll play along” Draxx said with a grin on his face.
“Lightning Spark” Draxx casted then jolts of lightning targeted the demon.
“Water destruction magic: Surging Waves” The demon casted then three waves formed overpowering Draxx’ attack.
“Was that it?” the demon mocked.
“Okay I give up” Draxx said.
“Hey kid! Catch!” Draxx shouted then he threw his daggers at Luis.
Luis catches it in midair, as soon as he catches the daggers, he immediately charges in
“I won’t let you down Sir!” Luis said in a cheerful manner.
“Blade Art number 72: Twin Fang of the Crescent Night” Luis said as the slices off the snake heads.
“He’s fast,” Draxx reacted.
