At the main battle ground the fight is completely over. The silhouette of the heroes slowly approaches the mages.
"Men, take care of the rest" Tyrone gave the instructions.
He then slowly approaches the two as he opens a bottle full of healing water.
"Here, drink this" Tyrone said as he handed over the bottle to Samantha.
He then opens another one then hands it over to the mage beside her.
"So, demons also invaded your territory?" Tyrone asked.
"Yes" Samantha said while looking at the ground with a sad tone in her voice.
She had this destroyed look on her face. Her eyes were dull and somehow lifeless.
"What happened?" Tyrone asked.
The other mage just looks at him. The moment their eyes met the mage just shook his head. Tyrone should not pry any further.
After a while Samantha and the mage regained enough strength to walk so the three of them rejoined the group.
"What's up Dean" Tyrone said as he approached Dean.
The two fists bumped into each other.
"Thank God you came on time"
"Thank you" Dean said with an appreciative expression on his face.
"Tay, we have a problem!" a student shouted.
Tyrone and Dean immediately spring into action.
"What is the matter?" Tyrone asked.
"Tay we ran out of healing water" the student informed.
"How many are still injured?" Tyrone asked.
"A dozen maybe"
"Wait, I'll go check" the student said then head on his way.
Dean and Tyrone roam around for a bit assessing the situation. It looks rough, the remaining untreated mages have wounds. If they don't act fast, lives might be lost.
"Men! We should carry the injured back to the zone"
"We would be wasting time if we waited for Max and the others to arrive" Tyrone instructed.
The students and the mages all worked together to make something that could carry the injured. With their combined efforts they easily made several hoist.
They all carried the injured back to the zone.

On their way there, the group ran into Maximus and his party.
"Dean! Sam! What brings you here?" Maximus said as a greeting.
"There is no time for catching up"
"Max, do you still have any healing water on you?" Tyrone seriously said
"We still have several bottle, why?" Maximus said.
The Maximus' party immediately unpacked their items. They immediately distributed there remaining healing water. The water wasn't enough to treat all injured mages but it was enough to stop the bleeding.
"Thank you" Dean said in a very appreciative manner.
Dean bowed his head and the rest of the mages followed.
After packing up their things the ground continued on their way towards the safe zone.

Back at the safe zone.
The students and the survivor arrived safely. They also managed to reunite the survivor with his family.
"Hey guys!" Sarah shouted as she waves her hand.
"So, how did the mission went?"
"Any info to spill?" Sarah said trying to get some answers.
"We don't know what happened to the search party. After we dugged out a survivor we assisted him here"
"Yeah! We also reunited him with his family" the students said.
"I see" Sarah said with a worried look on her face.
"They are fine, don't worry"
"Those guys are more than capable of slaying demons"
"Yeah, they will arrive soon. So please be patient" the students said as they try to reassure her.
Several hours passed and there were still no signs of the search party. Sarah being so agitated she walked back and forth the caved entrance.
"Are you alright?" a student said as she try to check on Sarah.
"Yeah, I'm good" Sarah replied as she turned back and smile.
The cheerful expression on her face might be decieving but it didn't fool the student in front of her.
"You know you're not fooling anyone with those eyes" the student said as she grabs Sarah's chin and look her in the eyes.
"So tell me" she added with a serious expression on her face.
"I'm just worried okay!" Sarah raised her voice at her while shoving the student's hand off her face.
"How about we sit over there and wait for them together"
"If only you would like the company" the student said as she drags Sarah to the corner.
She forces her to sit down and she sits right next to her. Sarah just stared at her with a weird look on her face.
"Why did I let myself be dragged into this?" Sarah said followed by a deep sigh.
After several hours of listening to the student beside her Tyrone and the rest of the group arrived at the zone.
"Tay!" Sarah shouted with a relieved expression on her face.
"Finally! She could leave me alone" a thought inside Sarah's head.
She quickly ran her way towards them.
"Sam! Dean!" Sarah greets and it seems she was excited seeing them.
"So, demons also terrorized your city" Sarah said.
"You know they could fill you up with the details later"
"Why not give us some healing water?" Maximus said cutting the conversation.
Sarah was pissed but she was obligated to do so. Sarah together with the rest of the students fetched healing water while the others found a decent place to rest.

The wounded were all finally treated and the group finally had the time to catch up. They all sat down in a circular formation and started laying all their queries.
"So, what are your plans for now?"
"Will you stay here?" Tyrone seriously said to Samantha.
"Yes" Samantha said while clenching her hand to form a fist.
She also had this gloomy yet furious look on her face.
"What's the matter Sam?" Sarah asked as she held Samantha's hand.
"It's cold" Sarah's reaction upon making contact with Samantha's hand.
"Go on, you could tell us" Sarah said in a worried tone.
"I really don't know what to say"
"If you asked me about our plans I don't know. I don't have the faintest clue in ruling"
"Maybe I am not cut out being royalty in the first place" Samantha said.
"You are wrong" Dean said with a dismayed tone.
Samantha started shaking upon hearing Dean's voice.
"If not for your leadership we would all be dead"
"So stop looking down on yourself! I know losing the king was unfortunate but look at the bright side. We are still alive and able to fight"
"So please stop, is this what the king would want" Dean said.
Samantha's gloomy eyes were then immediately filled with enlightenment.
"I'm sorry" Tyrone apologized.
"What are you apologizing for?" Dean asked.
"I might have been too insensitive" Tyrone said.
"It's fine"
"How about you guys? What are your plans heading forward?" Samantha asked.
"Right now we are just focusing on regrouping"
"Earlier, Max and his party just saved someone. We are hoping to search for more" Tyrone said.
"Not to be rude but are those all of the mages?" Maximus asked.
"Yes, and I think our group is the only survivor" Samantha said
"Our city was invaded by two powerful demons. Much more powerful than the Class A demon we had faced."
"They also have a human face and also know the human tongue"
"One of them also summons demons made of ice. The demons are able to suck magic"
"The other one has this weapon that nullifies magic" Samantha informed.
"Also Sam and I unlocked new powers"
"It felt like a dream, a voice calling upon our names. Then elemental power just overflowed us"
"As of now we could summon a holy beast. It might be similar to the one that Sir Draxx summons" Dean added.
Sarah's face then suddenly turned gloomy. Everyone's attention immediately shifted to her.
"What's wrong?" Samantha asked as she held Sarah's hand.
She just sat there and remained quiet.
"You see, just like what Aaron did for you guys. Sarah's beast sacrificed itself just to hold the demons for us" Tyrone said.
"Just a random thought. Do you think everyone with a magical shard is able to summon a beast?"
"I too had a dream once. A voice calling my name but I can't see anything. Just light" Maximus said as he thought about the possibility.
"You might be on to something Max" Tyrone said as he gives it some more thought.
Dean and the rest of the group also gave it some thought.
"Based on your stories. I think there are factors one must meet to summon a beast"
"First, one must have a dream of a voice calling their name"
"Second, feel immense power overflowing them"
"Lastly, able to use the power to fully summon the beast" a student said.
"So you are saying that I only met the first requirement?" Maximus asked.
The student just nods as a sign of agreement.
"Hey Tay, didn't you also manage to summon a fiery bird back when we were holding off the demons together with the water spirit?" a student said.
"Come to think of it, I also had a dream once. Also recently when I passed out I had spoken with an angel"
"My dream was about turning the tide of war" Tyrone said
