“Just give up already.”
“You know that I am better at you. Just admit that you lost” Lora shouted.
“Never! Never! Never!” Sora shouted then a dark blue aura rage.
The two snowmen disappeared.
“Water Prison” Sora casted
The cast time was faster but still it turns into ice.
“Tidal Wave” Sora casted then a huge wave is heading towards the ball of ice. The wave slammed crushing the ice. Then a whirlpool was formed
“Crushing Abyss” Sora casted
I rushed in then paralyzed her to stop the spell she casted. I summoned Batis to suck all the water then pick Lora up.
“Mending Clay” I casted then a cast of clay covered her lower body.
I removed the barrier.
“Looks like she won” Sora said then she ran away.
Draxx followed her.
I brought Lora to the infirmary then ordered Batis to patch up her fracture.
“That spell, was she really intending to kill her sister?”
“If I hadn't stopped her, Lora would be crushed right now,” I said as I looked at her crushed legs.
“Batis, look after her. I need to follow them” I said as I head out.
With lightning-fast speed I shot to the sky and looked for them. I immediately saw them, so I started to descend.
“What are you doing here? Don’t you have a sick patient to attend to?” Sora said in a pissed manner.
“I let Batis take care of her,” I said as I sat beside her.
She pushes Draxx just to have a space between us. I did not bother to move closer.
“Why are you mad? When you are in danger I did not hesitate to help, right?”
“You just turned me down several times because you want to continue fighting,” I said.
“Then why did you stop me?” She asked in a pissed manner.
“Coz Lora can’t continue to battle.”
“Her legs were crushed and she almost drowned” I said.
“So? I know that the sea can escape that! She escaped my prison. Surely, she can escape that too” Sora raised her voice.
“If I tell you she was unconscious because her head slammed in the ice would you believe me?”
“She was completely off guard. If I did not interrupt, she’d be dead” I said.
“You should have let her die,” Sora murmured.
Draxx and I heard it, but we remained silent.
“If you really hate her that much why not cut ties with her and also cut that burden you are carrying.”
“Seeing you act like that makes me sad. I missed the Sora I fell in love with” I said then I went on my way.
“I don’t know why but I feel lighter than usual because I said what I needed to say? I don’t if that’s a confession of my love or knocking some sense into her.”
“Wake up Chris now isn’t the time for love you still have to end this war. Once this is settled you can go propose to her”
“That’s it if I end this war, I am going to propose to her.”
“You hear God, I am going to propose to her. So, please guide me. I mean us in every step of the way” I said.
Then I felt a surge of elemental power. It is not powerful nor destructive, but it made me stop walking.
“Now put your hands up and give me all the money you got” a feminine voice as she points something behind me.
“Spark” I casted then electricity flowed in my body towards her gun electrocuting her
“You dummy you can’t take a joke” Mariposa whined.
“Sorry, I thought you were a bandit.”
“Your voice was different so I can’t tell” I apologized.
“So, what happened earlier? Fill me in the details” Mariposa said with a curious look in her face.
“Can’t it's personally maybe some other time?” I said.
“Okay”
“I’ll be back in my pose now. I just roamed around for a bit because I felt a demonic presence earlier.”
“Just thinking about it gives me the chills,” Mariposa said as she shivered.
“I’m out” She waved her hand then vanishes
The masked group started to rise from the ground.
“Chris Sterling surely knows how to handle those fragments of his”?
“To think that he brought Belphegor down” one of them said.
“You’re one to talk. As if you did any better.”
“If it wasn’t for that evasion spell you would have a faucet in your body” Belphegor mocked.
“If only you saw your face when Chris teleported.”
“Priceless” Mammon said
“Oh yeah!” Satan said as he summoned his sword.
“That’s enough for you two,” Asmodeus said.
Mammon and Satan zipped their mouth shut.
“Phase four finally achieved.”
“Now for phase five” Asmodeus said as she let go of the book.
The book levitated alongside with the two other books.
The demon lords walk to the altar. One by one they place their fragments in the specific hole. Different colored light corresponding to the elemental affinity shoots to the sky. The demon lords went to their specific zones then started chanting.
The ground started to rumble and the ground split in half. Flames then came rushing out and mourning voices were heard. The voices became louder and louder until demons and undead came out of the c***k.
The demon lords chanted even louder, and the c***k got wider and wider until the gate of hell was seen.
After the ritual, the demons suddenly calmed down. The demon lords are also exhausted. They cuddle up near the gate.
“Phase five achieved.”
“The plan in ending humanity is good to go. The only problem is that we cannot read any of the sacred scriptures. The pages are all blank” Asmodeus said.
“Maybe God himself is the only one capable of reading such text.”
“I am certain that I didn’t finish him off.”
“We can’t finish him off because humanity is his key to immortality. We can’t kill a tree if we don’t cut its roots” Lucifer said.
“But what about Emmanuel and the Archangels? Surely, they will intervene” Leviathan said.
“I don’t know about Emmanuel, but I think I know who the Archangels are.”
“First is Drax, the one that assisted Chris earlier. He already unlocked his divine beast, Kirin” Asmodeus said then she was interrupted.
“Well lucky me, I can finally get my revenge after being asleep for thousands of years.”
“Looks like faith destined us to battle once again. If I only knew he was Zadkiel a should have went for him instead of Chris” Satan to seems glad
“Second is Samantha. The way she handles her sword reminds me of Chamuel or the other angel that is skilled with the sword.”
“She also possesses a large amount of mana and her divine aura is superior among other elemental users.”
“Third Aaron Leonheart IV but Satan already finished him off” Asmodeus said then she was interrupted.
“This may sound off, but is it possible for double resurrection?”
“I have this light mage student that is very promising. He can use divine aura and cast the same defensive spell as Gabriel” Mammon said
“Then I task you to watch over him. See if he is really an archangel or not” Lucifer said.
“Sad to say I can’t. Remember the last attack we made? I might have overdid it'' Mammon ashamedly said.
“Over did what?” Lucifer gave him a glare.
“Was that the part that saved the civilian or the one that we argued in front of a huge crowd?” Satan said.
“Stupid! Haven’t I made myself clear that we are not allowed to expose our hosts’ body” Asmodeus shouted then lightning struck Mammon and Satan as punishment
“Okay that’s enough you three” Lucifer said as she claps her hands.
“Continue Asmodeus” Lucifer said
“Fourth isn’t an archangel but he is promising.”
“He has a divine aura and superior lightning skills. His name is Solomon Maldive” Asmodeus said
“I see. So, we still have four archangels that haven't shown up yet.”
“We have Michael: God’s Armor, Uriel: God’s Sight, Raphael: God’s Vitality, and Jophiel: God’s Wisdom.”
“And we should look out for Zadkiel: God’s Speed, Chamuel: God’s Weapon, and Gabriel: Enhancer” Lucifer said
“I’ll take Zadkiel for you.”
“He hurt Calderas and I don’t want to make it slide,” Satan said as he got up.
“Looks like your recovery time increased,” Beelzebub sarcastically said.
“Ah thanks!” Satan cheerfully said.
“As, you might have overdid it. Mammon is out cold” Lucifer said.
“The rest of you prepare a battalion of soldiers.”
“We will attack the two remaining cities in two weeks’ time,” Lucifer said.
Several minutes before the demons conducted their ritual. The animals all went wild. The dogs started barking, a huge flock of birds flying away from the mountain.
I then felt this strong surge of power that brought me to my knees. My chest started to tighten up making it difficult to breathe. I fortified myself with magic. I manage to breathe but I can still feel the pressure of such immense power. Never had I encounter such overflowing mana. I feel like I am being swallowed by the ocean, drowning in a vast ocean of mana.
After several minutes it finally stopped. My breathing went back to normal.
