"Okay muts,'' I grinned to the line of men and women in front of me. All from the Shadow pack and none knowing the hell I'm fixing to put them through. The thought made me smile. "Today, is the day each and everyone of you breaks. We will train until you can't move then we will train more. By the time i'm done with you, you won't remember your name."
I watch Dylan scoff at my statement.
"200 pushups now." I demanded with a smirk.
"Really?" He looked smug
"Right now I am in charge! I don't care who you are or who you think you are, you do what i say when i say it! Does everybody hear me?" I yelled at everyone.
"Yes ma'am!" The line of wolves yelled.
Before I could say anything else Dylan dropped to the ground.
I had my pack line up: Ivory, Oliver, Amelia, Sebastian, William, and Blair as my main warriors and some other background pack members along for the ride. They were intermingled with the line of Shadow pack wolves. I only recognized a few Dylan, Danielle, Zachary, Leo, Alyssa, and Amber along with probably around 75 to 100 wolves I didn’t recognized.
All of my guys were used to this training. Healers train 10x harder than any wolf, hell than any Alpha. We have more speed, agility, strength, wisdom, everything.
"The rest of you, we will start off with 100 laps. Go!" I started jogging in front of the rest of them, Noah by my side.
He's the next alpha but i can put him down any day which is why my father and Alpha Mason asked me to train everyone. I sped through the laps with ease, most of my guys not far behind. Blair only barely in front of the Shadow pack. She has always been the slowest and weakest, she wasn't a full healer. Her mother is a healer but her father was human before he died so she's still a healer but she had the abilities of a normal. It's never stopped her from pushing herself just as hard as I push everyone else and still being stronger than any other normal wolf.
Noah and I waited by the beach for the rest of the group. Dylan and Zachary didn't look phased which impressed me even after Dylan did his 200 pushups while the rest were certainly starting to lose their breaths but still holding strong.
"Good!" I yelled loud enough for everyone to hear. "Now that i've got your blood flowing, follow me." The beach was private for our packs and right off a forest which I began to lead the group too.
"Now this," Noah waved his hand to the obstacle course we had set up the day before for our own training purposes. "Is our next step. You will run this course as many times as it takes until you can run it smoothly and under 30 seconds."
"You expect us to run this in under 30 seconds?" Zachary's mouth gaped open. "It's like 9 miles long!"
"Do I hear you complaining Shaw?" I yelled.
"No ma'am!"
"Then go!" They all began to run.
They all ran stumbling through causing Noah and me to laugh.
We're horrible. Noah chuckled through our mind link.
We knew nobody could do it, we could barely do it and we were stronger and faster than anyone. The only ones who have a chance are Ivory and Olly since Ivory is also the Alphas daughter and Oliver the betas son. Being part of the representatives families we had more power than anyone else.
We watched everyone try and fail for hours and before I knew it the sun was setting and I heard Noah yawn.
"B, they've been at it for 6 hours. Half of them keep falling over and Oliver is the only one that's gotten under a minute. We should quit torturing them." Noah spoke with a grin. He was enjoying this as much as I was but unlike me, he actually had a heart and empathy. I'd keep them running this for 48 hours before I even thought about letting them stop.
"Everyone!" My voice boomed through the forest making the entire group stop in their tracks, all at different parts of the course. "Here. Now!"
I watched the tired bodies drag toward me in the best run they could muster which made me laugh. It took 10 minutes for everyone to get to us and once they all did they dropped to the ground.
"Time me." I spoke to Noah before starting on the course.
Jumping up the 25 foot wall completely surpassing the rope that led up to it, flying through all of the hurdles and speeding past the trees. I finished the course with absolute ease before running full sprint back to my brother and the rest of the wolves.
"Time?" I asked, slightly out of breath.
"28 seconds!" Noah cheered and ran to me, chest bumping me.
"Hell yeah! Now until each and every one of you can do that you will run this course every week until you can't move! Do you hear me?" I looked out into the crowd of wolves who could barely even hold themselves up with slacked jaws at my ease.
"Yes ma'am!" It was weak but every single one of them yelled back to me.
"Go home and shower, all of you stink." I laughed before waving them off.
"You're horrible." My brother slung his arm over my shoulder laughing as we headed home.
We both shifted seconds into our run home and ran into each other, throwing each other over and playing around, enjoying the breeze through our fur.
"How was training?" My father asked after we shifted and walked through the doors of the pack house.
"She broke 'em." Noah boomed with a grin.
"That's my girl." My father smiled giving me a fist bump.
My dad and I were close, really close, especially after what happened nearly 3 years ago. My heart panged at the thought but I quickly brushed the pain away.
I quickly ran upstairs to wash the layer of sweat enveloping my entire body. I planned on a long, steaming hot, shower trying to wash away the day but my plans were interrupted when I heard banging on my bedroom door.
"We're going to go get everyone and go to the Shadow pack house and check on everyone." Noah yelled through the locked bathroom door.
"What the hell? 1, Why would I want to go over there? And 2, I can't even finish my shower first?"
"You need to make nice, this is permanent and I can feel your disdain from a mile away. I am going to be the next Alpha in 1 month and I can not have my twin sister hating a pack we are allianced with. They aren't that bad, B." I heard the desperation in his voice.
"I hate you." I lied.
He's right. Im treating them unfairly and even though i don't want to be here i shouldn't take my anger out on the Shadow pack and their wolves when it isn't their fault. I am nothing if I choose to be disrespectful. I quickly washed the conditioner out of my hair before getting out and drying off. I listened to Noah leave the room before leaving my bathroom and throwing on a simple shirt and some sweatpants.
I hopped down the stairs feeling refreshed, seeing half of our warriors looking dead exhausted but following along nevertheless.
"Race you!" He grinned, running without warning and gaining a head start.
"Cheater!" I yelled following behind him but it didn't take long for me to take the lead.
We got to the pack house in 10 minutes with me beating him by a landslide.
"I will always be faster than you, Lupin." I laughed using our last name.
We got up to the other pack house and much to my surprise everyone who had previously been training was now in the front yard doing burpees and suicides. I smiled in approval waiting for the rest of our group to catch up.
"This is the kind of dedication i like to see." I whispered to my brother before catching Dylan's attention.
"See? They aren't as bad as you thought." He smiled and waved to Dylan and Zachary who seemed to be in charge of this debacle.
"Im proud." I spoke truthfully to the boys.
"We aim to please." Zachary threw a flirty wink my way which I only responded with a serious expression.
As we stood there waiting I noticed a girl that wasn’t at training today, she was gorgeous. She had platinum blonde hair and a color of blue irises that could rival the ocean. She couldn't have been more than 5'5 and she was running every drill with ease
"Who is she?" I looked at Zachary and asked, intrigued.
"Oh thats Hayley. She and her mom went out of town today so she couldn't make it to training." My eyes didn't leave the girl.
"Hayley."
