Chapter 12

DREY’S POV

Jacqueline left without saying a word. This hurt me so bad. I could have followed her but I didn't. I'm still trying to understand why my father’s rival is still keen on wanting me dead after all these years.

“Hi Drey, did you miss me?” Daniella said while joining Luke and me in the living room. I know she didn't have any important meeting with our parents because my dad would have called, but I didn't question her. She was probably too scared to tell me about her boyfriend because where else would she have gone?

“Ohh please miss you? In your dreams. Tell that to your boyfriend you just left” I said in response.

“Bro who is she? I don't remember you having a sister” Luke chimed in.

“And who are you too?” Daniella snaps back sounding offended.

“Hey you guys should chill. Daniella meet Luke. Luke meet Daniella, my stepsister”.

“Whatever,” Daniella said while walking away.

I’m confused about this sudden unnecessary hate between these two but I shrug it off.

“Drey I swear she looks familiar but I can't remember where I had seen her,” Luke said after she left.

I just told him it’s probably someone who looks like her.

Now that it is just the two of us Luke’s expression changed to being very serious. He then told me how he was able to trace me, that it was very easy for him after the party at Camilla’s place. He also asked how and why I was shot and I explained to him what happened.

“Drey, so Andrew Anderson, your father’s rival son is angry with the relationship you have with Jacqueline? Bro what if he’s just acting like he doesn’t know it's you?”

“Don’t worry he doesn't know who I am, if he did, that party night he would have been the one to shoot me”

Luke and I just filled ourselves in on what's going on in our lives.

ANDREW’S POV

I can't disturb my father over some petty issue I can handle. Jacqueline Woods needs to know that no one can have her. I’m sure she has been cheating on me with that Drey, see how fast she moved on. I wanted Drey at first to pay for it alone, but this time they would both pay for it. But first I need to find everything I know about Drey Dankworth before I do anything. He is going to pay severely for taking what is mine. In the meantime, I’d pay my father a visit. It's been a while. Sinaloa, Navolato here I come, but unfortunately during the school long break. I then called someone working for me to investigate Drey’s family. But before then I think I should visit my love Jacqueline. First Jacqueline..then Drey. By the time I’m done, neither of them will know what hit them.
