Chapter 11

JACQUELINE’s POV.

When we returned to Drey’s place, he seemed tense and puzzled. I was very worried and confused, too, but I didn't say a word until we arrived.

Drey was walking so fast when he got out of the car as soon as I parked it, and I struggled so hard to catch up with him.

I finally got to where Drey and Bob were, but then another person came out and he sounded like he and Drey go way back.

Drey was still puzzled trying to remember this person he then asked who this person was and he responded saying he is Luke Moore.

Wait. Does this mean he is the friend Drey spoke about when they were much younger?

Drey didn't seem to be moved by it. So we all went inside.

I honestly did not want to listen to the conversation, so when I got tired of just being there, I was about to go upstairs, when Luke bluntly asked if I was Drey’s girlfriend. Before I could even respond by just saying my name and ignoring the question, Drey just had to say I wasn't his girlfriend.

This hurt me so bad. I know we're not dating but I thought we had something special and different. I just went up to pack my things to leave. I made sure I cried my eyes out before going back downstairs.

I left without saying a word. But on my way out I bumped into Daniella.

“Hey Jacqueline it's so good to see you”, she said while she hugged me. “You are going so soon? Hope no problem”

“Oh, not at all. I have lots of schoolwork piling up for me”, then I left the Dankworth mansion.

I forgot to order a ride before leaving, so I guess I have no choice but to walk home.

On my walk home, my phone rang, I was so glad because I don't like to take long walks alone so I answered without checking who was calling.

“Hey, my baby how was your day?” Just by hearing his voice I knew exactly who it was. This dude has the balls to call me baby. I should have blocked him.

I kept quiet hoping he would get tired and hang up, but no he didn't. So I responded with so much irritation in my voice

“What do you want Andrew?”

“Oh my dear I want just you, but it seems like you and Drey are a thing now so how do you want me to believe you didn't cheat too”

“Andrew Anderson I am not you and can never be like you”

“My darling we both know you're just upset that's why you're just saying bullshit and you will still come back pleading to make things right. I’m just making things easier for you and if I may ask since when did you start sleeping over at Drey’s house and don't freaking lie to me about it”

“Wait..Andrew, are you stalking me? Why are you keeping tabs on my whereabouts? How is what I do your business now? You're just a creep. You know what? I'm going to block you and don't you ever try to reach out to me” then I hung up and blocked him immediately. What a creep.

Now my mood is worse than it was earlier on. I had to walk home with mixed emotions of rejection, anger, and irritation.

Thankfully I’m not too far from home.

ANDREW’S POV

She really had the guts to hang up on me. What does she even see in that boy?

Drey would definitely pay for this. She is mine.

Now who the hell is calling me?

“Boss she has gotten home. What should we do?”

“Just keep an eye on the other one and see what he is up to”. Then I hung up.

If I can't have her then no one else can.
