Zara woke up feeling a bit pumped up, but that feeling deflated when she saw that she was in a strange room. She was unable to move. 's**t, I have to get out of this place.' she thought, but that didn't stop her from feeling a bit tired. Letting out a small yawn, she alerted the guard that was supposed to check up on her so that she didn't leave. "You're awake." He stated this, staring at her as if she were supposed to be dead. She nodded softly, hoping that he was not about to go. Call someone to come stop her from leaving. Trying to stand, her legs crashed from underneath her body, and she fell flat on the floor. "What the hell are you doing, woman?" The guard demanded, and she looked up when she saw a few nurses rush towards her. "Why did you leave the bed? Do you want to lose your life?" He asked her. Zara was still confused as to why the man was acting nice to her. She flinched when his hands touched hers. Not knowing what to do, he stared at her in surprise. "Where are you going? Don't you want me to help you out so that you don't fall and get treated instead?" It was then that Zara opened her eyes. It was as if she was just seeing clearly. "I don't know what the problem is, but you need to allow us to lift you up." One of the nurses told her. They were very busy, but if not for the calibre of the person who brought her here, she wasn't sure that they would have admitted her. Seeing that she had no choice, Zara allowed herself to be carried and placed on the bed. 'I think they don't want to tell me what is going on now.' she thought, but didn't say anything. In a short period of time, the door opened, and the tantalising aroma of coffee hit her nose. She felt that this was a new pack. The one that she stumbled into on her way out. "Why don't you claim what you are supposed to? It's only normal that there should be something of the sort, but she was supposed to do that, right?" The guard turned to the nurses, who continued their job. "Yes, she should take advantage, but the problem was that she didn't know how to go about it." After deliberating slowly, there was a pause, and she was scared because she knew that this wasn't going to be very easy for her to navigate, especially when she didn't even know where she was. A syringe was stuck into her arm, and she suddenly lost the ability to speak. Secondly, her eyes were spinning, and the room looked like it was about to fall on her head. She jerked, and they quickly caught her. "It's the injection; she is reacting to it. I don't know why she's not doing like the others." One of the nurses said this as they continued their job. Soon after, the door opened again, and a doctor walked in. It was almost as if he were here to stop all this mess. At least Zara hoped so. "Get away from her. I don't know why you've refused to be able to prepare her for the procedure. It's appalling." He said. "How are you feeling, Miss?" Zara wasn't able to answer as she stared at the doctor as if she had never seen someone in a long time. There was no exchange of words and no warning either before another syringe was stuck into her arm, causing her to scream in pain. The doctor rubbed the site for a minute and massaged it till the swollen site reduced. That injection sank down into her knees, and she felt them begin to hurt. She didn't know if she was alive or dead. It was a whole lot involved, and no one was willing to let her know what was happening. "My throat," she croaked before tilting her head. "My throat hurts." She whispered to the doctor. He seemed like the only considerate person around. "I'll get you something to drink to cool your temper. It's nothing serious; you only blacked out. I know how he does it. He only sends messages. "I don't know why you're tired or afraid of being here. This is how your crushes have been treated, tested, and tried. "Why are you about to do a cooperative one so that we can all know that you're truly ready for the best?" Zara offered advice. The doctor stared at her. Well, maybe that was why the man liked her so much and brought her here. She tried to rack her brain at who the stranger could be. She didn't want a case where there would be deliberately no way for her to escape anymore when it came to the worst. She wasn't supposed to stay here all the time. She had various engagements, which she didn't think were suitable for her. "How many minutes have I been out?" The doctor chuckled softly as he stared at her. "You're out of jobs at the moment. You can only miss one day, but you've ended up taking three days without any information. What do you think?"! "Nothing much; I think it's fair that I lost my job when I was very lackadaisical with it." She replied. The doctor was making sure that everything was going well with her before taking her into the room. "How do your legs feel?" "Better, but my legs are very okay. I don't know why you're asking for it." "I want to make sure that when the person who brought you here arrives, he'll be impressed and pay us up. He won't pay if he doesn't see a tremendous effect on you." He explained it to her. Zara was finally prompted to speak. "Tell me who this man is, please." The door swung open. "I believe you were asking for me. Here I am."
