Chapter 6
Nate walked into the hospital lobby with one thought on his mind. "I'm here to see the lady that was brought in last night." He told the receptionist, who was gaping at him.
He stared, more like glared at her, which made her quickly adjust. This wasn't what she was expecting one bit, so there was absolutely no need for her to admire him. He hated it whenever women sold themselves short. It didn't make any sense at all to him.
"I am here to see the lady that was brought in last night. I'd appreciate it if you're fast about it." He replied with a smile, which didn't look polite at all.
The lady felt highly embarrassed about that because now she looked wanton.
