CHAPTER THIRTY-FOUR

1125 Words
Alinani stopped pacing. Then, “I have an idea,” he spoke. “What?” Amell asked. “You are a freaking demon and a dragon. You can breathe out fire, can’t you just burn these bastard frogs, man?” Alinani asked. “I can’t just go there and burn them. They have very high toxic venom, you know that, don’t you?” “Not really. They didn’t use that with us.” “When their pinkish spots start glowing they spit venom. So be aware,” Amell said and swiveled to look at the frogs guarding the prison cells. “We can’t even sneak behind them. Damn,” Alinani spoke. Alinani resumed his pacing for a couple of minutes, then. “I think I have a plan,” Amell spoke. “Do tell,” Alinani replied, and moved close to Amell. “Here it’s,” Amell told the all plan to Alinani. After taking a few breaths, they moved out of the rocks. The frogs got alarmed and paused in a ready-to-fight way. Amell and Alinani raised their hand to surrender, moving closer to the frogs. The frog’s pinkish spots started glowing. Alinani’s breathing grew faster. “We come in peace,” Alinani spoke. “What do you want?” one frog asked. “We want to be turned into your kind. We are tired of these forms,” Amell spoke. Alinani nodded in approval. “Tired of that filthy body, nice,” the other frog spoke. There was a pregnant pause. The frog’s pinkish spots stopped, glowed. Alinani and Amell sighed in relief. “So are you gonna take us to you king or what?” Alinani asked. The frogs looked at each other than started moving towards the men. Just when the frogs were five feet from the men. Amell breathed out fire and the frogs were caught on it. Alinani quickly tapped his werewolf form, moved closer to the frogs, uppercutting one frog, then swung with all his might deep into the other frog’s kidney and it dropped to its knees with a yowl of agony. Amell taped his full demon dragon form and flapped his wings. Before, the frog Alinani upper caught struck the ground, Amell’s tail went through the frog’s stomach. Amell swung his tail and through the frog. It went flying in the air, hit the gate to the prison cell, and it blew open. Alinani moved to the other frog and turned its head behind, hearing every neck bone breaking. Alinani and Amell looked at each other, smirked, and transformed back to human form. They moved to the gate and fist-pumped each other, took the keys from the ground, and entered. “You will look to the left and me to the right,” Alinani spoke. Amell nodded. “These bastards have humans caged in here,” Alinani said, looking around. The people in the cells started yelling for help. “We will unlock all of you, just keep it down,” Amell spoke. Took the keys and started unlocking the cells. After, unlocking about ten cells, they arrived at Charles’s cell. The man was lying unconscious on the floor. His body was filled with bruises. Amell quickly opened the cell. Alinani went inside the cell and picked up Charles. Amell finished opening the cells and headed to the gate. Before they reached the gate, two frogs appeared at the gate. The humans moved behind Amell, Alinani, and Charles. Amell quickly tapped his demon dragon form and moved in front of everyone. The frogs spit their slimy stuff but before it can reach them Amell spitted fire; it met with the slimy stuff and it vanished. Amell flapped his wings together, and the frogs went flying out of the prison cells. “Do I have to tell you it’s time to leave?” Amell asked and gestured for them to leave. They all quickly ran outside the prison cell. But before they could go any further, the frogs got up. Their pinkish spots glowing. “Oh, crap,” Alinani said. ********** “Let us go. We have to get to the battleground,” Siobhan spoke. “Yeah, but I will never unsee that,” Mulenga spoke. They walked for a couple of hours, then they spotted the battleground. The Costa Rican clown frogs entering and leaving the battleground. “How in the freaking hell are we gonna get inside now?” Mulenga asked. “Oh, s**t. Wait,” he tapped his head, “I think I have an idea,” Siobhan said. “What?” “We can disguise ourselves as Costa Rican clown frogs.” “How?” Mulenga said, moving closer to Siobhan. “I can perform a spell. But we need something first.” “Wait, you can disguise us as those bastards, and we have been walking in the trees the entire time. What the hell is your problem, man?” Mulenga yelled for only Siobhan to hear. “It wears off after about thirty minutes. We couldn’t have managed killing two of those bastards every time.” “Wait what?” “Since there are two of us, I need two Costa Rican clown frogs to disguise ourselves with.” “How are we gonna get the frogs?” “Let me try this if it will work even this time,” he got his wand from the pocket. “Again, you have been to this place before?” “Oh, no. I just happen to know everything about it and every way to use,” he looked at Mulenga, and after seeing how puzzled he was, Siobhan went on, “of course I have been here before, you idiot.” “Whatever try, whatever you are trying,” was all Mulenga could say. Siobhan gave his wand a casual flick, and the spell hit two frogs. The frogs stood still. “What now?” Mulenga asked. “They will do everything I tell them to do. See this,” he held his wand to his mouth, “start walking to the left,” the frogs whirled and began walking towards Siobhan and Mulenga. “Oh, s**t. This is amazing old man,” Mulenga grinned. The frogs entered the trees and stopped in front of Siobhan and Mulenga. Siobhan raised his wand. The two frogs’ souls started moving out of their mouths and entered Mulenga and Siobhan. After a few minutes, the frogs died and the two men turned into Costa Rican clown frogs. They looked at each other and smirked.
