Sebastian and Natasha left the cemetery and went home. “Dear, should I bring you coffee or tea?” Natasha asked, heading to the kitchen. “Wine will do thanks,” he replied. “Wine is not one of the options,” she smiled. “Please put it on the list.” “No can do. Tea it is.” Without waiting for a reply, she left and went to the kitchen. A few minutes later, she came with two cups of tea and sat closer to Sebastian. Sebastian took a sip from his cup of tea. The twins started crying. Natasha put her cup back on the table and took the twins. “You can help me with one, you know?” She scolded. Sebastian got up and took one of the twins. “I was about to,” he replied. “Trevor and Maria would have been great Godparents,” he went on. “Yeah,” was all she said. Natasha began singing a lullaby. She looked at Sebastian, who seemed to just lip singing and her smile stretched wider. After a few minutes, the twins slept and Natasha put them in the sitting room crib where she can what over them. Sebastian’s phone rattled from the table, and the twins began crying again. “Dammit, who the hell is calling,” Sebastian said. Natasha went with the twins’ milk and gave it to them. “Hey, Mr. Sebastian,” Meghan spoke. “Meghan, how are you?” Sebastian asked. “I’m fine thank you sir and you?” “I’m good, thanks. What do I own this pleasure?” “We are hosting a fundraiser in the loving memory of Mr. Trevor here at the cafe. And since you are his best friend, we thought you should be the one to talk to people about Mr. Trevor.” “Oh, that’s cool. And thanks for everything you are doing to keep that cafe going. If it wasn’t for your help, we wouldn’t have been able to catch that bastard who framed Trevor. And I will definitely be there. When is the event?” He spoke? “It’s tonight, around eighteen hours. So we will wait for you, sir. Thank you for agreeing,” she said excitedly. “Sure I will be there.” without waiting for a reply, the bastard hung up as if he was the one who called. Sebastian took a sip from his tea but displayed an unpleasant expression. “Natasha, the tea got cold,” he cried out. “Will you keep it down? You are not the one who is going to put them back to bed, you know?” She scolded in a low tone. “And it’s not my fault your tea is cold. Who called you even?” “It was Meghan.” “Oh, what did she want?” She asked, taking the twins to their crib. “They are hosting a charity event in Trevor’s name at the cafe, so she wants me to be present.” “Today?” “Yeah, around eighteen.” “Alright then I will help you prepare your speech I’m good at that,” she smiled from ear to ear. “Who said they don’t know how to writing speeches?” “Seb, please,” she said and went upstairs. “This is not over. Natasha!” he called to her softly not to wake the twins. “Natasha,” he followed her upstairs. Time flew by very quickly that day Sebastian had no choice but to sick for Natasha’s help, despite not wanting to. They both dressed in rather dashing outfits. Sebastian wore a well-fitting black suit that emphasized his body even better. Natasha wore a dark blue dinner dress which was sleeveless, and high-heeled shoes. “The time we dressed this was the day I lost my friend,” Sebastian said, more to himself than to Natasha. “Dear, if you keep reminding yourself about that night, you will never forget it. Please do us both a favor and stop reminding yourself about that night. It kills me to see you like this eh,” she patted his back. “Yeah, you are right. Sorry.” “No problem. Shall we go then? We wouldn’t want to keep people waiting, would we?” “Let us go.” They left the house, got in the car and Sebastian drove off, straight to the mood lift cafe. They arrived, and the parking lot was congested. Sebastian parked his car, and they got out. Him holding one of the twins and Natasha one. “Mr. Sebastian and Natasha, good evening?” Meghan said, smiling from ear to ear. “Good evening, Meghan,” they replied together. “I’m glad you made it. This way, please.” “I wouldn’t have missed this for the world.” They followed her, and she showed them to their table. “Thank you,” Natasha said. Sebastian just dipped his head. “I will see you guys later I have to attend to other things,” Meghan said and left. “Are you ready, sir?” Natasha asked, looking at Sebastian. And you could tell she wanted to burst out laughing right there and then. “Ah, so fun,” he removed a piece of paper and began studying it. Natasha took the twins’ bottles filled with milk and gave it to them. After thirty minutes, Meghan went to the stage. “Good evening ladies and gentlemen?” “Evening,” the audience murmured. “I would like to thank all of you for coming to this event it’s such an owner. I would also like to thank you for all your donations, it means a lot. We are gathered here to remember my boss, Mr. Trevor, who was also a brother to me, also his wife Maria. They were one of the unfortunate ones who died on the night intercontinental blow-up.” She ended her speech by saying, “please put your hands together for Mr. Trevor’s best friend and brother. Mr. Sebastian,” and she left the stage. Sebastian looked at Natasha in a rather calling for help way. “Go on, I helped you with the speech,” she said. “We are going together. Who also will help you carry the twins,” he said sounding rather determined. “I will help her,” a woman's voice spoke. They swung around to see who just spoke. “Emma!” they both said excitedly. “Hey guys,” she hugged both of them. “How are you? Long time,” Natasha said. “Good. And how are both of you?” “We are good, Emma,” Sebastian replied. “And my adorable nephews?” “They are growing into troublesome bastards,” Natasha said, and they laughed. “Sebastian, they are waiting for you go o me and Natasha will look after them,” Emma said and took the baby from Sebastian. Sebastian got up and went to the stage grinning as hard as he can to mask up his stage flight. “Evening, everyone,” he said in a rather low voice. “Evening,” the audience murmured. “As she said, my name is Sebastian and Trevor was not just a friend to me he was a brother, we grew up together. And not having the asshole here today is the worst thing that I could ever experience in my life.” He carried on with his speech for almost an hour. They wrote the speech so well that none of the audience dozed off. “Thank you once more for your donations in this cafe. Have a good evening all of you,” he left the stage. The audience clapped, some were even patting his back as he passed their tables. “That wasn’t bad, was it?” Natasha asked. “I gotta say you nailed it, man,” Emma said. Sebastian just took a glass of wine and drank it. The charity event ended, and everyone went home. Sebastian and Natasha said bye to Emma, and they left. “I’m so tired,” Natasha said as they reached home. “I feel you,” Sebastian responded. They didn’t even both to sit and start watching television, they just went straight to bed. And the best part was that the twins were already asleep. ********** Trevor and Angel went to the boys’ bedroom carrying a big cake. They opened the door and begin singing the happy birthday song. The boys woke up and shouted. “Fifteen.” They jumped out of bed and blew off the candles. They cut the cake, first fed it to Trevor, then Angel, and lastly themselves. “We have a surprise for you, my boys,” Trevor said. “Don’t tell me you two are going to get married? I told you something was going on between them,” Justine spoke. “Dad,” Mulenga looked at Trevor. “Of course not we aren’t gonna get married,” Trevor replied. “Than what is it?” The boys asked. “We have found a way to get out of this place.” “You are kidding, right?” Justine asked. “No, my boy. Today we will leave this place.” “That’s splendid news, dad,” Mulenga said. “Justine, you don’t look so happy,” Angel asked. “The bastard has a crush on the girl that leaves a few blocks from here,” Mulenga replied, smiling from ear to ear. “Mulenga language,” Trevor scolded in a fatherly tone, “and just they are plenty of girls in Lusaka you will surely meet one. Also, I’m not encouraging you to date at your age.” “Dad, I’m fifteen now. And you big mouth you will pay,” Justine said, shooting Mulenga a just wait for them to go look. “Stop threatening you, brother, eh?” “They are empty threats, father and besides, I have learned to master my powers better than him,” Mulenga spoke. Justine raised his hand and began controlling the knife, cutting the cake into pieces. “Can you do this?” “Simple trick,” Mulenga raised his hand as well and did the same trick Justine had done. “Boys, stop it!” Trevor shouted. They turned to look at their father, “why can’t you just get alone without competing?” “He started it,” Justine said. “It doesn’t matter do it for me. It’s your birthday and I’m scolding you now.” “Sorry, father,” they said together. “Brush your teeth and take a show, then came to have breakfast before we leave,” he said, and they left. “These boys are stressing me with their constant fighting. I don’t know how I’m gonna handle them without you now that we are leaving,” Trevor said as they left the room. “You will do just fine I will give you tips before you leave,” she patted him on the back. After, thirty minutes, the boys came. And the four of them sat at the table and had their breakfast. After they finished, they took their bags. Then Trevor cast an invisibility spell so that no one notices the bags since they were using a forbidden doorway. And the fact that they lied they were from that planet. They got out from the door and found the man that helped Angel the other night, waiting for them. “Boys, you are here,” Trevor said. “Yes, Mr. Trevor,” they said together. “Good take this,” he handed them a bag but after seeing their expressions he went on by saying, “I have made them invisible so they suspect nothing.” “Oh,” they replied, took the bags and they left. They were as cautious as they could be until they reached the doorway, but they found two guards there. Trevor took his wand and gave it a casual flick. After two minutes, the guards just went unconscious. They continued walking and finally reached it. “I’m gonna miss you so much. It was a horner having you guys around. My house will now become quiet again,” tears started streaming out of Angel’s eyes. The twins went over and hugged her. “We will forever remember you Angel you helped us so much. If it wasn’t for you, I wouldn’t have known these little bastards are my sons. And we can always come we will drop by sometimes, eh,” Trevor spoke, hugging Angel as well. “And you two take good care of her eh,” he pointed at the men. “Yes, sir,” they bowled their heads. “Boys, let us go before those guards wake up,” Trevor said. “Bye aunt Angel,” the boys said. “Goodbye, my little one,” she cried even harder. “We now fifteen aunt,” they said. “Alright young men, see you,” she smiled. “See you Angel,” Trevor said, and they entered the doorway. “We will stay with you and keep you entertained,” one man said. “Oh, really?” She said. “Yes. We are at your service,” they bowled down. “First of all, let us get the hell out of this place. Those bastards are starting to wake up,” she said, and they left. ********** Trevor and the boys landed on great East Road. Luckily no one was around to see them since it was already nighttime, few people were outside. “We will sleep in a hotel for tonight. Then tomorrow we will go and see you, aunties,” Trevor spoke. The boys just nodded, and they left.
