CHAPTER THIRTY-NINE

“I will go after them. You two keep on unlocking them,” Charles said, and ran towards Siobhan and Amell. Mulenga and Alinani carried on opening the cells for the humans. Siobhan raised his wand, blue lightning went and hit the guards at the door. But neither of them whirled to see what hit them. It was like neither of them felt it. Amell clapped his wings together. Then air blew the tow guards, and they went sprawling, striking the rock. The bastards groaned upon hitting the ground. Charles quickly tapped his werewolf form and went running towards the frogs. He grabbed their legs, lifted them, then slammed them to the ground. He lifted them again, swung them, and sent them slamming the trees. Siobhan brought up his wand again. Lightening came out from the wand and hit the dumbass frog on the tree, who was busy looking at two lady frogs in his camera thing instead of examining the frogsta land for intruders. It came flipping in the air and fail on its ass. The two frogs who were on guard duty got up, after all that beating, the bastards still got up. They began screaming, probably calling for help, but their voices weren’t coming out. They screamed as loud as they could, but still no voice came out. Presumably because of Siobhan’s spell. The two frogs spitted their slimy stuff. Charles dodged one frog’s slimy stuff, but before the other frog’s slimy stuff could hit him, Amell came to his rescue, lifted him, and dropped him to the other side. Siobhan went to the frog who fell from the tree. “You betrayed your kind, you piece of s**t. You will surely pay for this,” the frog spoke, blood coming out of its head. “You don’t even know your kind, you bastard. I don’t think you even deserve to leave. Pathetic,” Siobhan spoke, outrage burning in his eyes. The frog raised its hand and swept it, but Siobhan stepped back. “You just made your death painful,” Siobhan spoke. Siobhan gave his wand a casual flick, and the spell hit the frog. It sobbed as it burned and reduced to ashes. The two guard frog’s pinkish spits began glowing. Then Amell breathed out fire and one frog got caught on it and burst. The other frog screamed after seeing its friend dying, and a teardrop came out of its eye. It raised its hand, but before the fireballs could start coming out, Amell’s tail went through its stomach. Amell raised the frog in the air close to Charles. Then Charles’s hand began burning, but his fur was in perfect shape. He moved and stood about two feet from the frog. “I told you bastards my friends are gonna rescue me, but you didn’t believe. You treated me like a piece of s**t, it’s just a shame that you have to die a fast death. If it was up to me, I would have made sure you die slowly,” Charles said. He took a breath then upper caught the frog, its head detached from its body and blood started splashing all over. They all turned to human form, Charles and Amell naked. “Wait, you were also in another form? How come you still have your clothes on?” Charles asked, covering his snake with leaves. “It’s not part of me. I just performed a mare spell,” Siobhan replied. Mulenga, Alinani, and the humans came out from the prison cells. Amell ran to hide behind Siobhan, and the humans laughed at the man’s reaction. “You two,” Alinani pointed at two kids, “you want to see your elders snakes?” He added. The little boys faced the opposite direction. A man whose lips were buried under his beards handed a bag which contained clothes to Mulenga. Then Mulenga gave the bag to Charles and Amell. The two men bowled their heads, took the clothes out of the bag, and wore them. “Shall we go now, before any of those bastards catches us again?” A woman said. “Yeah, please,” all the women agreed. “Alright. Mulenga and Alinani you will be at the back. Charles to the left while Amell to the right. I will be in front,” Charles said. The men just nodded and took their positions. They began walking but were on high alert, just in case. It took them almost an hour, but they finally reached the place where they landed after teleportation. “So you know you guys are not gonna remember any of this, right?” Siobhan asked, looking at the humans. “Wait, what!” They all gasped. “Yeah, you won’t remember a thing about this place,” Siobhan replied. “So I will still think the magical world doesn’t exist?” The little boy asked. “Yes, son,” the mother replied, kneeling to cheer the kid up. “Siobhan, will you so your thing we leave this useless place before the frogs show up?” Charles spoke. Siobhan gave his wand a casual flick, and a portal opened. “Wait before we go through that thing. Where are we gonna land?” A bald man asked? “Where the frog picked you from,” Amell answered. The little boy ran and hugged Mulenga and Alinani, then said. “Thanks for helping us. I just hope I didn’t have to forget you guys.” “You are welcome little one but you forgetting us is for the best ok?” Mulenga said and kneed to high five the little kid. “Yeah, thanks guys we really appreciate your help. If it wasn’t for you, we would still be here,” the mother to the kid said. The rest just nodded. “Alright enough will you starting moving before you go back to the prison cell,” Amell spoke. “Mean bastard,” the little boy whispered to his friend and they burst out laughing. “What did you say?” Amell asked. “Nothing,” the kids lied. “Then move alone,” Amell said. They began going through the portal. When it was the boys’ turn, they turned to look at Mulenga and Alinani and they waved their goodbyes. Mulenga and Alinani’s eyes were becoming watery, but they blushed it off so they don’t see their vulnerable sides. The kids went through the portal. They both landed at school in the restroom with their uniforms. “I told you I will beat your test score,” the slime boy said. “Buy one, make dumb,” the fat boy replied. The slime boy screamed, touching his head. “What? Are you ok?” The fat boy said. “Yeah, but I just saw frogs as I closed my eyes,” he replied. “Fro...,” before he could finish his sentence the fat boy also screamed touching his head, “I think I just say the frogs you are talking about, Justine.” “What was their color,” Justine asked. “Black with pinkish spots.” “They are the same as the ones I saw Mutale.” “Do you have any idea who they are?” Mutale asked. “No. But we can check on the library.” The kids left the restroom and went to the library.
