CHAPTER FORTY

1283 Words
“Maria, what is it?” Trevor asked. “There are some red things like you just got burned on each side of your shoulder,” she replied. They all went to look at Trevor’s back. “Wait,” Maria said, and they all turned to look at her. “When you to me you are a wizard, you also said you are half something but I can’t remember what it is,” she began beating her head. “Demon,” Sebastian said. They all turned to look at Sebastian. After a few minutes, Trevor wailed they all turned then his black wings came out, they all gasped and took two steps back. For Richard, who was on the couch closer to Trevor, jumped from the couch and screamed like a little girl. “Trevor your wings,” Sebastian sighed. “Holy s**t,” Trevor looked back, eyes confused but filled with excitement as well. Then he flapped his wings. His legs detached from the ground a bit, then he almost failed but flapped his wings again and got back in position. He moved into the room in circles, smiling from ear to ear. Then he did a perfect flip in the air and landed on his feet. He moved his shoulders, and the wings entered. “What the hell just happened?” Natasha asked, looking from Trevor to Sebastian. “Trevor is a half-demon,” Sebastian replied. Trevor opened his eyes, then closed them again, and they stopped glowing. Went back to their normal form. They all moved and went to sit. Willow moved and went to sit beside Trevor. “So since you are a demon, did you come from hell or something like that?” Natasha asked. “No. But my dad came from there then he married my mother who was a witch and they had me. That is why I’m a half-demon half wizard. Not that I came from hell,” Trevor responded. “Maria, how does it feel that you are married to a half-demon now. Does it scare you?” Emma asked. “No, Emma, I have been through a lot of s**t with this bastard. So him been a half-demon doesn’t bother me at all,” she leaned on Trevor’s chest. “Mr. Trevor, how did you lose your demon powers, if I may ask?” Emma asked. “We were fighting vampires with this bastard,” he punched Sebastian on the shoulder, “then they did something to me which in turn made me lose my demon powers,” Trevor responded. “Oh, those bastards we kicked their asses so bad and it was so fun,” Sebastian said, grinning. “What did they do that made both of you kick their butts?” Natasha asked. “Story for another day,” Trevor responded. “Look at your uncle his eyes are filled with horror,” Maria whispered to Trevor. “Uncle, didn’t your sister tell you she got married to a demon?” Trevor asked, looking at Richard. “She didn’t,” Richard replied. “I can tell by your expression, uncle,” Sebastian said, and they all laughed. Natasha took her phone and pressed it in front of Richard. “Look how horrified you look,” she said. “I won’t eat you, uncle,” Trevor said, whipping his tears. There was a pause for a few minutes then. “We are so gonna teach those bastards a lesson. Dear, please tell me you haven’t forgotten how to control your demon powers?” “I haven’t I guess. Wait, see this,” he snapped his fingers and fire started burning on his finger, but his finger was unarmed. They all smiled excitedly. “I think you should teach me some techniques to defend myself dear and in turn,” Maria said, and moved closer to Trevor. “I will surely do,” Trevor smiled mischievously. “Hey, you two. You have your own room. I suggest you go there instead before you rip each other’s clothes off. Have some shame uncle Richard is here for the love of God,” Sebastian said. Uncle Richard nodded in support. “I second what my husband just said,” Natasha said. “Look who is talking about shame,” Trevor said. “But he has a good point, though,” Maria said, smiling at Trevor. “Alright, we are going to discuss matters between married people. We will be done presumably around twenty or higher,” Trevor said, and he and Maria left the room. “Crazy bastards,” Sebastian said. ********** It’s about time you guys showed up. For a minute we thought you died, God forbid,” a tall man said. “What do you mean, it has only been two days ever since we left?” Alinani asked. “Two days? Are you ok man? It has been two weeks ever since you left,” the man said. He looked at his friend and they laughed. “You i***t, I’m telling you, it has been two days. And don’t ever call me crazy,” Alinani moved closer to the man. Eyes burning with fire. “You are both idiots. The time intervals between frogsta land and here on earth differ,” Siobhan said. “Really. So two days down there accumulated to weeks here?” Mulenga asked. “Exactly,” Amell replied. “Update me about the party,” Siobhan said and he, Amell, and the two men left. The witches and wizards gathered at the fireplace. Siobhan and Amell in the middle. Mulenga and Alinani left their tent and went to Charles. They called his name before entering, and he allowed them to enter. “Yes, can I help you with something?” Charles said. “We just want to ask about something, my alpha,” Mulenga spoke. “Go on.” “How did you end up in frogsta land? And do you by any chance know who that bastard Robert survived?” Mulenga asked. “The kid survived because of the ring.” “Ring,” they said together. “Yeah, he is the one with the ring of the Monotropa uniflora.” “What!” They said together again. “He is the one who took me there as well so he could take revenge for his father’s death.” “He also turned into a Costa Rican clown frog,” Alinani spoke. “I don’t know who he did that. But we just have to be on high alert. When he discovers we have left, he will surely come for us.” “But either way we would have gone to frogsta land to get the ring prior he doesn’t come here will go there, right?” Mulenga asked and with his expression, it was evident he regretted every single word he just said. “Are you crazy, man? I aren’t going to that place,” Alinani said. “If Robert doesn’t come here, we have to go there,” Charles said, without considering Alinani’s words. “What the hell is going on outside they are making too much noise?” Mulenga asked. “Siobhan as hosted a meeting. To discuss the upcoming party,” Charles answered. “Oh,” they said. They carried on their discussion until middle night then they went to their tents. Even Siobhan and his people dispersed to go in their tents.
