CHAPTER TWENTY-SIX

They heard noise coming from the outside. They looked at each other and stood up. “What was that?” Natasha asked. “I don’t know. But I think you should go to bed and lock the door. I don’t have a good feeling about this,” Sebastian replied. She left and did as he told her. Sebastian and Robert moved to the door, ready to dismember the intruders. They waited for a few more minutes, but no one was entering. Then the kitchen door blew inwards out of its joints. They whirled and went running to the kitchen. Charles Alinani and Mulenga were standing on the door in werewolf form. Sebastian and Robert immediately tapped their wolf powers. The three werewolves jumped on Sebastian and Robert, but they moved aside and the three struck empty air. Sebastian ran and jumped on Mulenga. They skidded on the floor and bumped into a couch. Sebastian raised his claw fist and punched Mulenga right in the gut. Alinani ran and pushed Sebastian off of his friend. They were all on their feet and rounded on each other. Robert went racing towards Charles he jumped but before he could land on Charles. Charles upper caught Robert sending the poor man slamming on a lump stand. He quickly got up, as if nothing happened. They ran towards each other Charles threw are punch. Robert ducked and gave Charles one might punch in the gut. The man groaned as he struck the floor. Mulenga and Alinani ran towards Sebastian, who seemed to do the same. Mulenga jumped but Alinani maintained his ran. Sebastian dodged Alinani, but was too late to avoid Mulenga’s attack. Mulenga took Sebastian and threw him away. Robert went and kicked Charles in the jaw, sending the man sprawling. He went towards him. Back in human form. Charles also transformed back. “You, didn’t you know it was me, you i***t?” Charles screamed. “I did,” he said, smirking. “Then why the hell are you fighting your dad,” Charles asked confused. “Er….first, you are not my dad and you will never be. Second,” he went, raised Charles and pinned him to the wall, “you killed my father, you bastards,” fire burning in his eyes. Mulenga ran and punched Robert so hard that they heard the c***k of his bones as he hit the couch. After minutes, Robert felt Mulenga’s fingers tightening on his neck. Robert spun and punched him directly in the nose, presumably feeling his cartilage c***k. Robert took Mulenga’s leg, swung him around, and sent him cartwheeling in the air. Mulenga slammed on Alinani and they hit the wall. Sebastian got up and started moving towards Charles with Robert. “Why the hell do you want the ring for?” Sebastian shouted. Charles didn’t answer. “didn’t you hear what he said?” Robert asked. “The same thing every werewolf wants with the ring of the Monotropa uniflora,” Charles replied. “I'm not buying this s**t,” Sebastian kicked Charles on the stomach. The man coughed and blood came out of his mouth. “And you thought no one was watching when you kicked my father, you asshole,” Robert kicked Charles again on the stomach. “You want the ring, don’t you?” Sebastian squatted, “you aren’t gonna get it.” “You boy, how can you betray me. Your mother’s husband,” Charles said. “You are seriously asking me that question? Are you stupid or what?” Robert asked and kicked Charles again on the stomach. While they were torturing Charles, they forgot about Mulenga and Alinani. ********** “You sure they suspect nothing?” Siobhan asked on the phone. “Not at all Siobhan. You don’t worry, just do the preparations,” the man from the other side spoke. “Alright if you say so,” he said and hung up. “That little boy will pay for not listening the first time,” Siobhan spoke. “And give me a chance to eat him piece by piece,” Amell spoke. “Yeah, sure,” he replied. ********** Mulenga took a knife from the table, went quiet, and stubbed Robert. Sebastian raised his fist, but Alinani kicked him and sent him slamming into the bathroom door. Robert slowly closed his eyes, and he took his last breath. A teardrop came from Sebastian’s left eye. Before he also kicked the bucket. He ran to the bedroom and broke the door open as quietly as he could be. “We have to go now,” he said. “But what about that Robert guy?” Natasha asked. “I will explain on the way.” He tapped his werewolf form, picked Natasha up, and jumped out of the window. “Now it’s your turn,” Charles turned to look at Sebastian, “oh, no. Catch him before he escapes,” Charles shouted. Mulenga and Alinani went upstairs. After a few minutes came they came back. “He is not there, my alpha,” Mulenga said. “s**t, the boy has escaped. What are you waiting for, go,” he spoke on top of his lungs? They left the house, forced the gate open, and got out of the ward. They looked around, but Sebastian and Natasha were nowhere to be seen. “What about the girl who was leaving with him?” Charles asked. “We couldn’t find her as well, my alpha,” Mulenga replied. “Stupid. I don’t even know why I took such stupid people. How could you let him slip from our fingers?” Charles shouted. “We are very sorry, my alpha,” they said together. “Sorry aren’t gonna bring him come on let’s go. You,” he pointed at Alinani, “you go that side. Mulenga go left and I will go in the middle.” Just after he finished, they split. ********** “They have left,” Sebastian said, and they came out of hiding. And they were just within the ward. “My heart had dropped in my stomach,” Natasha spoke. “Don’t worry. They have gone now,” he sighed and wrapped her in his arms. “What is the way forward now?” She asked. “I don’t know.” Minutes ticked by. They stood outside, not a single world from both of them. “And where are we going to sleep now?” Natasha asked. “Well, we can’t stay here for long. Or else those bastards a gonna come and find us here. I think we can go to Trevor’s house.” “But that place is been watched by the police twenty-four seven.” “Not the old one. I’m talking about where we have been staying. It’s the safest place now.” “Is it not that far?” ‘Not much.” “We can take my car then.” “Alright, let us go before anything else happens.” “But are we just gonna leave Robert there?” she asked, her eyes suddenly filled with tears. “We have no choice, dear. Come on, let’s go.” They entered the car, and Sebastian drove off.
