“Rip me in half. Don’t forget who you are talking to, Charles. I’m the…”   Charles caught off, “the might Siobhan please. You failed to get your book from a child.” “And do you have your ring? No, you don’t. So let us work together and teach those t***s a lesson,” Siobhan spoke. “Siobhan, my time here on earth is running out, I can feel my power decreasing. I may have to return to hell. So make this plane of yours faster,” Amell spoke. “But is there no way you can gain power here on earth?” Siobhan asked.   “I can feed on baby heads.” “Well, do that. I freed you from hell and you want to return. Pathetic.” “it will take me months to gain enough energy just on eating baby heads. In hell, there are proper foods that give me energy instantly.” “So what do you suggest?” “That you take me back to hell.” “Are you crazy? Do you know how much trouble I went through just to break you out of that place?” “Well I need my energy to fight those kids. It wouldn’t be wrong to say that they are pretty skilled.” Siobhan run a hand through his hair. Then, “Alright we can go later today.” Amell smirked. They both turned to look at Charles. “No, don’t even think about it. Just the name of the place creeps me out,” Charles said. “Came on, it will be fun kicking same demon’s ass,” Amell said. “And if Amell is going for the energy, you can get some as well. That fire must really finish your energy,” Siobhan said, as if giving a child a pep talk. But it seemed to work Charles was kind of softening up. “If you put it that way,” Charles said. “There you go. Let’s do some training it won’t be easy to get past those demon bastards on guard duty,” Siobhan said, and they all got up. ********** “Finally, you guys are back. What took you so long?” Maria said, just as Trevor and Sebastian entered. Trevor was carrying two Shoprite bags while Sebastian was carrying a bag of rice. They put them on the table, sat down, and sighed. “A thank you will do,” Trevor said. “Yeah, we just risked our lives out there,” Sebastian said. “Please, I and Emma could have done it. Stop exaggerating,” Maria said. “Oh, really we will see tomorrow,” Trevor said and left. Emma and Maria took the bags and went to the kitchen. After a few minutes, Sebastian followed Trevor. He went to Trevor and Maria’s room, but didn’t find him. He checked a few rooms, still no sign of Trevor, then he found him in the library.   “What are reading?” he asked as he sat on the opposite chair. “Do I look like I’m reading something?” “A simple nothing would have done. And are you ok you look lost?” “Nothing I’m fine.” “Trevor, we have been friends for such a long time. So don’t tell me you are fine man.” “Sebastian I said I’m fine. Will you  just leave me alone for a while.” “I was just trying to help,” he got up grumbling and left the library. Trevor beat his head on the table. God knows what he was thinking to push his friend aside.   “What have I done I’m so stupid? They all seem so happy about the party I can’t ruin that for them. I don’t know why I feel that something is fishy about this party. Should I tell Sebastian or not?” Trevor thought. Slowly the filtered sun buried itself beneath and a big moon creeped out. Trevor swung as the door to the library opened. Maria entered. “You have been here all day. Is everything ok?” Maria asked. “Yes all is well,” he went and lay on the couch as if preparing for a therapy session. She followed him and lay on top of him. Her head on Trevor’s chest. He took his hands and wrapped them around Maria. “Trevor I know something is bothering you. But if you don’t wanna talk about it it’s ok. But again if I find out you are keeping something from me. You will be sleeping alone for a month or two.” “All is well Maria,” he sighed and kissed her forehead. “Trevor.” “Mhm.” “Do you know why Sebastian is mad the last time I saw him he looked pissed off?”   “Er………Kind of.” “You fought, didn’t you?” “Well, it was more of my fault. I should even talk to him.” They both got up. “And I should go and prepare dinner.” They got up and left the library. Maria went to the kitchen while Trevor went to Sebastian’s room. He entered without knocking and sat beside his friend on the bed. The room was chilly. Trevor looked around for the source of the chilly weather and saw a vast window wide open. “Hey man,” his voice finally came out. “If you are still in that stupid mood I would advice you to leave.” Trevor wanted to retort but took a deep breath.   “I’m sorry about earlier, ok? I just had a couple of things dancing in my head.” “But did you have to take it out on me?” “I’m sorry ok.” “Asshole. You were lucky I was in a good mood or else I would have pounded you into a ball. And what the hell is dancing in that tiny, almost non-existent brain of yours?” “The party man.” “What about it?” “Don’t you find it a bit off? I mean, of all places they sent the invitation here. They could have sent it to my office or Maria’s, but here. Think about it, man.” “You might be right. So you think Siobhan is behind it?” “Sort of.” “Can’t you call them and find out?” “Oh, yeah, ” he took his phone from the pocket and called Mr. Sinkala. The phone rang for a few minutes then he answered, “Trevor my son you finally called us uh.” “How are you, sir?” “I’m ok and how are you and your lovely wife?”   “We are fine thank you.” “I hope you have received our invitation?” he oozed. “Yes sir, that is what I was trying to find out.” “Hope you are gonna come and bring your wife we haven’t seen her for quite some time.” “Sure we will come and thank you for the invite, sir.” “Don’t mention it. Trevor, I have to go before your aunt changes her mind. Piece of advice, don’t keep your wife waiting in bed after it took you all day to convince her.” “Alright sir, good night, and thanks for the advice,” he grinned and hung up the phone. “Happy now,” Sebastian said. “I guess so.”
